Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon : While the unprecedented funeral continues apace …

Israel is continuing its attacks on Lebanon, West Bank and Gaza. Israel reportedly intends to resume the genocidal war in Gaza within the next two months, potentially before October’s elections, amid ongoing violations of the US-backed ceasefire agreement.

The attacks run the gamut of evil. Occupation forces use anything from firing tear gas while storming refugee camps to outright firing. The latest one today is Shuafat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

In the West Bank, the settler militias under cover of Israeli defense forces carry out anything from 2 to 5 attacks on villages and Palestinians, mostly farmers, per day. They beat up the farmers, the older people, the children, and take their animals or chase them off and use the grazing land for their own. They also come with bulldozers and lift olive trees and steal them. If that is impossible they chop or burn down the trees.

Homes are routinely demolished in the West Bank and surrounds, occupied territories, under the guise of a lack of Israeli-issued building permits. That pretext has been used for many years.

From time to time, Palestinian detainees are released from jail in conditions of having been tortured. If one follows all the reports closely, you soon pick up that if say 20 detainees are released in one area, the IDF picks up another 20 detainees in another area. The numbers of detainees in the torture prisons do not reduce with releases of prisoners. In reality it looks as if Palestinians are rotated, so that they all get a stint in torture prison.

Tent camps are routinely droned, or directly shot at. Yes, babies and Palestinians are still dying daily. The genocide is only a little slow motion currently.

🟢 Hamas has completed the handover of Gaza’s civil administration. With the resignation of Mohammed Al-Farra (https://t.me/PalestineResist/97461) and the dissolution of the Government Emergency Committee, the transfer to the National Committee is now complete on the Palestinian side, finalized before faction, tribal, and civil society representatives, with a UN observer present.

This was not a concession extracted from Hamas. It fulfills an offer the movement first made in May 2025 (https://t.me/PalestineResist/77715) and reaffirmed in every negotiating round, ratified by the factions in Cairo last October (https://t.me/PalestineResist/83099): to hand Gaza’s administration to an independent Palestinian technocratic committee. Al-Farra only inherited this committee because the occupation assassinated his predecessor, Issam Al-Da’alis, with three of his sons and two grandsons, in March 2025.

The committee under Ali Shaath (https://t.me/PalestineResist/85030) sits in Cairo, its entry blocked by the occupation, which dismisses the step as a deception and vows not to move until the resistance disarms. The civil file is closed, while disarmament was never on the table. Hamas has done what it pledged, and only the occupation stands between the committee and Gaza.
