The Missionary and the Oligarch : a Rant!

Americans, is what I am talking about – Americans who visited SPIEF in St Petersburg, Russia.  Not even five minutes and they already want to change it.  They’ve been there a few days, and now they want to come back to ‘repair the schism’.  Good heavens, I have nothing against you, but perhaps people are happy to live with the schism.  Perhaps they understand why it happened in depth, and find there is nothing to repair from their perspective.  Perhaps you are just loud, obnoxious and tone deaf and if they are not suitably thankful for your good works, you’re going to want to shoot ’em for not ‘listening to you!’.  Go repair the schism in your country!  But you cannot, can you?  Now you’re do-gooding outside of your lane.  I’ve seen it too many times.

The Americans will on the average quickly offer to repair someone else’s world to change it to something that they would like, and leave their own world not spoken about.   I have nothing against Candace, but this is so crystal clear if we talk about the ugly American.  Talking about her trip, she says:  “Every person in the world should visit Russia.”   I don’t hear her say what she enjoyed, what was most beautiful, what she enjoyed eating or anything that is not fighting her own fight. No, Every Person in the World should visit Russia.  Who the hell are you girl!  You’re a podcaster, not God!   Get over yourself.  Don’t fight your local fights in Russia.  You were so focused on your fights where you went on American RT talk shows, you probably saw nothing.  These Russians treated you like a welcome guest.  It is not because of your coolness, it is reflective of what they are.

Candace Owens agrees Russia is fighting SATANISM in Ukraine.  ‘I think what’s happening in Ukraine is simply ethnic cleansing’  ‘They are killing a bunch of men of fighting age, with the ultimate goal of moving in other people on the border’  Candace Owens speaks with storied Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov  (Do you want your opinions of the war shaped by Candace – and I really have nothing against her. I just see a pattern that we read regularly from Sony Thăng.)

The do-gooding gene is not a good gene.   Is Russia is falling for it again? Or is something else going on. Are these visitors being used politically very hard and icecold by Russia as patsies?.  Look world, Russia is certainly not estranged from the rest of the world. Even you come here but it is a pity that you insist on saying your say, which you cannot do any longer in your own country.

This is the social segment of the return of the Oligarchs.  I am so upset watching these Americans.  The Tate brothers on a selfie trip, selfies playing chess, selfies shooting big guns, selfies fighting with others on interviews.  Candace, the saviour .. Oy vey … Doctor Livingstone I presume.

There are more serious examples of the Return of the Oligarchs but this is what it looks like in the social sphere.

Really, I have nothing much against Americans … Was married to one for many years and very happily.  I lived there for 15 years and visited family many times.  Lived mostly in expat enclaves and had much to do with Americans.  Eventually decided to save my soul, and simply do the daily greeting with good manners. As for the rest, where I live, we once had an American couple knocking on the door, asking us to sign a petition because a neighbor is making too much noise playing music too loud. Luckily my husband saved me from utter rudeness, and he answered again with manners. He explained nicely that they are a well to do and very large family, a very old family in our hood, and their daughter is having her quinceañera: A traditional Latin American celebration marking a girl’s 15th birthday and her transition from childhood to young womanhood and they will play loud music for a few days because it is a very big deal. There is really no need to petition them to be quiet and we won’t, because we are invited, whenever we feel like stepping over, with a few flowers, a chocolate or a little something to enjoy this celebration.

We don’t hear anything from the Americans visiting Russia about Cuba, about Venezuela, about the increasing pressure on Mexico. These are your neighbors. Repair the bloody schism! But you do not say a thing about the planned take-over of the Western Latino World. You just want to go and repair things for your own benefit and to make your name in another world. Like Sony Thăng, I will speak it!
