Ah, you mistake my intent, or rather my point, amarynth. The song is full of god references and religious stories of vengeance, mainly drawn from the bible, rendering it almost nauseating to listen to. No problem and thanks – I was seeing those references as against the King, so to speak – the one who crowns himself king over the world and in that persona assume godly favors – as in ‘we are god’s chosen nation’. In other words, to lie.
