The Imaginary Peace President : no-win scenario

In a matter of just a few months’ time, The Imaginary Peace President has backed himself into a no-win scenario of epic proportions:

🔹 Project Ukraine is a lost cause; Russia will seize the Black Sea Coast to the Danube, Transnistria, and the left bank of the Dnieper all the way to Belarus. Russia will thereby assume its position as the only major power in Europe.

The Hungarians and Slovaks will move decisively back into the Russian sphere of influence. The Europhile fools in Moldova and Romania will be ridden out of town on a rail. NATO buyer’s remorse will begin to seep into clearer heads in Finland and Sweden … and the ever-clueless Poles will spin around aimlessly a few times, fall to the ground, and ask themselves “What the hell just happened?”
As for the Germans, French, and Italians … those disasters-in-the-making will be a topic for another day.

But Perfidious Albion deserves at least a passing mention.

It won’t surprise me if, at some point in the course of the coming year, the Russians will finally exact their well-deserved revenge upon the treacherous but otherwise toothless British. And when it finally happens, Washington will feign outrage for a day or two, then shrug their shoulders and move on to geostrategic blunders elsewhere on the planet.

🔹 The Caribbean Clown Show

The Maduro debacle is being painted as some great triumph. But with each passing day, it becomes more and more obvious that it was little more than a run-of-the-mill Banana Republic face-saving bribe, with a pre-arranged rendition thrown in for good measure.

There will be no “taking the oil”. There will be no “regime change”. Maduro and the Missus will spend a few months cooling their heels stateside, and eventually be quietly repatriated.

🔹 The Iranian Magic Carpet Ride

I’ll get right to the point on this one: The US/Israel have no credible play against Iran. They never did. As I wrote in my late-November 2025 retrospective on the fabled Operation Midnight Hammer the whole thing was a manufactured fairy tale.

Yes, Trump, Greasy Pete, and the villains in Tel Aviv will keep talking tough for a few days to come about all the mean, nasty, bloody things they will do the Iranians if they don’t kneel and kiss the ring … and the Iranians still won’t submit.

Then what? I guarantee you neither the US nor the Israelis are going to undertake a reprise of the 12-Day War. Sure, lots of people around the world still believe the Iranians got the crap kicked out of them. But they didn’t. And not only do the US and Israel know that, but the Iranians know it, too — as do the Russians and Chinese. And the Russians and Chinese are making meaningful moves to ensure that, going forward into 2026, the Iranians will be more powerful and capable than they were back in the summer of 2025.
