Professor Wolff describes the slavery of Europe. He states that the psychological insight is that the demonization of Russia is the displacement of the rage and anger against the United States. This cannot be expressed so it conflates or becomes conflated in the rage against Russia. The real oppression of Europe is now being carried out by Mr.Trump. Because of the relationship they (Europe) cannot say so. They cannot face it but in reality, they act out the slavery. They have to heap onto Russia all of the hostility that is felt from Trump, but cannot be discussed. It is projection and an evasion of the problem.
