The topic is war. Cutting to the chase: A discussion …
It is time for applyinhg individual sovereignty as best you and I can. Let’s look at some conversations of the past few days alone. Everyone who is still reasonable, not desperate, and still able to analyze, consider that we are on the cusp of breaking out in war. Russia is still arming up, China is arming up, Iran is arming up, Venezuela is arming up, North Korea is arming up, little countries are attempting to arm. Europe is trying to arm up but they depend on the US still. Money is no object as people are being deprived of health care, pensions (Germany is a case in point) and social services are being cut to the minimum. The gold price is exploding.
There are hundreds of people and channels and articles and essays being written in an analytical style.
It is dark and bitter over our lands and our planet.
I’ll keep this short and cut to the chase.
Which is first? Venezuela? Iran? West Asia regional? A surprise? Where will the bloodsport erupt next?
Israel Should Have Already Ceased Fire Under Trump Plan For Gaza. The carnage continues. We have the new objective there which is whitewashing the whole genocide.
Diplomacy with Venezuela has just been shut down and all efforts to reach a diplomatic agreement have been ‘called off’. The US military is now running drills just off the Venezuelan coast. The reason given is that they are frustrated over Maduro’s refusal to step down and Venezuela’s rejection of U.S. accusations linking its officials to drug trafficking. The facade is gone.
Russia, as far as I can see, just cut off the pretense of talks with the US. There is no talk of extending the New START Treaty – Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov, and, the momentum for Ukrainian settlement that emerged after the Putin-Trump meeting in Alaska has been exhausted — Ryabkov
The yaw yaw is over. Churchill also said: War does not determine who is right, only who is left.
For China, I see new weapons being announced day after day and their soldiers are being trained until they fall down in exhaustion. Then, they have to get up again.
The new leader of Japan is not hiding the hope to re-arm.
As a backdrop here, the narratives are falling apart. The scripts are breaking. A case in point and the perfect example is Venezuela, supposedly part of a war against drugs and everyone can see it is only little boats being bombed and droned on a ‘Trust me Bro’ basis.
Iran is telling the world on a daily basis that they are ready, and nobody should be thinking that they cannot give a good account of themselves. I’ve seen people comment that they hope for this, and this time Iran should not stop.
Ukraine? It continues on and the war is continually fed with outside resources. Despite this, Ukraine cannot hold and Russia is attacking deep into Ukraine toward Lviv. It is not long now, but NATO cannot afford to lose so they will double down. They have Russia’s money to start with.
I wanted to write lists of options and decision criteria in an analytical style. But, time is over. We need to support one another, ask questions and deeply discuss. It is time for sovereignty.
On West Asia, Col Wilkerson said it clearly:
First objective: Preservation of Bibi Netanyahu’s coalition and Bibi Netanyahu.
Second objective: Keeping the United States from causing him to do something he does not want to do wrt Gaza, Syria, Lebanon and elsewhere.
And then the kicker:
We’re going to war Nima!
MacGregor says: Tomahawks in Ukraine risk nuclear Armageddon within hours. If Ukraine uses US Tomahawk missiles, America could be facing war with Russia within a matter of hours. “That war could rapidly escalate to the nuclear level, and once you hit the nuclear level, you have almost no control,” he warns.
Alastair Crooke : Order, Prudence, Rules are gone! The new geopolitical doctrine is here.
Professor Richard Wolff: Desperation, absurdity, contradictions, and he explained what this all means from an economic perspective
Michael Hudson followed up: The desperation is because the plans are not working. The guns are loaded waiting for the tripwire. The US has already decided on nuclear war. He says Trump cannot acknowledge that unipolar control is over – because it will make Trump a loser. He is losing already in terms of oil and the dollar, and for him, he is more important than Jesus … or Moses …
He can only respond by war and bring the whole thing down.
China is being continually goaded, and the last goading is in Panama. https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202510/1345058.shtml
Even Dugin (and I am not a fan) is announcing:
War is Ahead of Us.
Thus, monstrous trials await mankind ahead. They are already happening; we are already inside them. What we have now will seem like child’s play compared to what is ahead. Naturally, like any normal person, I am not gloating or happy about this. But wars practically always happen whenever people say they don’t want war. Wars do not depend on whether people want them or not. There is a certain logic to history which it is virtually impossible to evade.
In the US itself, little wars are raging. As Putin said at Valdai when asked about the Department of War:
As a ship is named so does she sail.
What do you think? Raw and unsophisticated is fine, but be honest and don’t fight with others. So you think we should go to war? Shall we fight the sheer horrible concept of war? Will our world be better off if we kill another few millions of people? How do you plan to survive? Have you done ‘bug-in’ or ‘bug-out’ preparation? Where is your heart? Who do you bleed for? If we can still drive Netanyahu and his cronies into the sea, will the threat of war diminish? These are the existential questions.
The Kremlin has announced a serious pause in the dialogue between Russia and the United Stateshttps://vz.ru/news/2025/10/9/1365287.html
All that is left is backchanneling between SVR and CIA and Mil to Mil (for deconfliction in the air).
One’s gotta admire the attention to detail and professionalism of the Russkie.
They’re like aces recounting their rendezvous with Ground
AviatorAce: “Houston, lost engine #2”
Ace: “breaking off attack”
Ace: “right wing lost”
Ace: “cannot maneuver”
Ace: “stalled”
Ace: “disabled”
Ace: “punching out now”
Ace: “ejector no work”
Ace: “…..”
Take a look at Daily Chronicles. Ruskie seems to have a difference of opinion.
Besides that, I think also that the jig is up .. No more talk.
I think the Kremlin is split on several topics. There is a hardening of the Siloviki arm while there is a desperation of the Liberal arm. Putin keeps getting interpreted by the West, especially inside the OVAL OFFICE as weak and accommodating. Even Putin’s words regarding Tomahawks went in one… Read more »
Uhm, I don’t know if I’ll call it ‘split’. Different opinions. But Putin has never been shy to let them speak and then he calls it. I remember well the time when we thought Medvedev, and even Peskov were Atlanticists. I agree that what Russia has done now, and with… Read more »
“Which is first? Venezuela? Iran?” I think a surprise. They need to save the biggest punch for Iran, but it is the thorniest atm after Russia and on full alert. So they’ll raise many bushfires elsewhere, to attempt to thin Iran’s allied defenses. The Indian Army chief in last day made… Read more »
I think there is so much noise on the Trump Peace Plan that he is waiting seriously for an immediate deal … just a last stab at that peace prize. (But no Hamas statement as yet). Trump was called out of a meeting today so that he could announce something… Read more »
We continue to make preparations to survive in place. The first decision was on place…and we chose. Criteria homogeneity, water, soil, proximity to targets….military bases. There is always war, so far anyway, and it does not respond to “should” or to “we”. WW2 didn’t really end, it paused. Szilard’s patent… Read more »

Doctorow a twat. Such erudition. I lend litte credibility to persons not fluent in Russian, including idiomatic usage. This is precisely why I do not donate to these sites. My funds are better spent elsewhere, and worth even less to leave a comment.
Who said anything about Doctorow. We have a discussion and it is here: https://sovereignista.com/globalsouthforum/topic/the-hearty-salon-02-oct-2025-open-thread/#post-67512
The real question: Would you rather be killed by a pro who knows what he is doing and skilled with an axe, guillotined by a device with a dull blade, or sandpapered to death? At this point, these seem to be our given choices.
Col Doug MacGregor may be wrong about nuclear war, although if Russia shoots down all the Tomahawks Trump may feel that he has little or no alternative. The most up-to-date ones have a better chance of evading Russian air defences, and if they are carrying nuclear weapons, Russia would feel… Read more »
There are undoubtedly many ways this can play out with so many conflicts having the potential to go nuclear. The two that are most likely to use nukes first are Talmudistan and the Mother Earth fracking soybean farm that masquerades as a country.
it depends. A pro axeman could have a bad day, miss and hack unsatisfactorily. A dull guillotine blade can do the job if the blade is heavy enough, through complementary efficacious mechanisms. Some sharkskin are as good as a scalpel…
