Andrei Martyanov on war and Europe
Andrei highlights something today that is now impossible to ignore. This is that we are in the foothills of a bigger war than the SMO. This is being planned. The theater is being shaped. From Belgium, we have a piece from the Workers’ Party, who comments on NATO’s planning:
What is NATO preparing for globally?
They are waging a war on three fronts. They want the Europeans to wage their war, the US war, a proxy war in Ukraine. That’s one war, one front. The second front: they’re using their proxy Israel to wage a war against Iran in the Middle East, to set the Middle East in flames. And they are waging their own war, they are preparing their own war in Asia against China.
So, with these three wars now they want to let pay the Europeans 5%, and it means another war: A war on the working class in Europe to pay for the wars of the US, and we say no to NATO, no to the 5%, no to these three wars and yes to peace.
And they also, I heard, present this 5% that the Europeans are supposed to spend, as an example for other countries. https://unitedworldint.com/36887-nato-preparing-a-three-front-war-globally-and-declaring-one-on-the-european-working-class/
The planning of a new European theater war against Russia is no longer a secret. Do you recall where the increase in defense spending to 5% originated? This will tell you whose war it is, despite the enthusiastic Europeans who apparently and surprisingly found some nazi roots. It came directly from the Trump administration and the boyz. Now, can you understand whose war it is? The empire is using its proxies to wage war, pay for it, but they want to reap the profits. It is not rocket science but the parallels with the previous world wars are striking. They want a replay that could reset their economy.
In addition, the threats continue.
NATO THREATENS India, China and Brazil. Bloc chief Rutte says they’ll be hit ‘very HARD’ by Trump’s sanctions. He tells them to call Putin.
Currently, if anyone expects commentary on war materials, or could it be feasible, or how it will work, in the style of the incessant ‘analysis’ being done on what today is not known, it would be a time-waster. We will work with the knowns when there are sufficient, and there are not many of those yet. What is known is that Trump talks Trash and one cannot believe him on numbers of weaponry and should rather ignore that. But what is known and what has increased in importance is Europe’s insistence on war. They will starve out their own citizenry to pay for it and import soldiers from various areas. The idea is not to win or lose; their minds are too small for that. The idea is to convince themselves that Russia is a threat and they need to harm Russia. That is as far as fairy tale thinking goes today, but the preparations are in full swing.
According to Andrei’s piece, this thinking is also prevalent in the US, to a greater extent than I had recognized. This is confirmed by Leavitt (the BS Barbie):
Sure, He Merely “Asked”.
Now there is a bit of conundrum for Donnie.
Bloomberg — Donald Trump asked Volodymyr Zelenskiy whether Ukraine could strike Moscow, an inquiry that the White House says was merely a question but one that came hours after he voiced frustration at Russian President Vladimir Putin’s refusal to accept a ceasefire in the war.
During a July 4 phone call with the Ukrainian president, Trump quizzed Zelenskiy about whether Ukraine could hit the Russian capital and St. Petersburg if given US long-range weapons, according to a person briefed about the conversation. Zelenskiy replied that it could if the US provided the weapons, the person said. Asked about the details of the call, which were first reported by The Financial Times, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said: “President Trump was merely asking a question, not encouraging further killing. He’s working tirelessly to stop the killing and end this war.”
I wonder what does this situation remind me of? Hm? Ah, yes, the handling of Epstein files–nothing to see here, folks–move along, move along.
But if Trump didn’t know that the only way 404 can TRY to hit Moscow (a dubious proposition, considering Moscow’s AD) ONLY if the US provides say JASSM-ERs with 1,000 km range. There is so much to unpack here. Imagine a neighbor going to find a hitman and “merely” asking if he can kill you? Nah, just the neighbor is just asking, no hard feelings. BTW, how much is it to off somebody? Again, just asking, nothing to it. And no, Karoline, Trump doesn’t know what real work is or what does it mean to be a statesman. He doesn’t care about “killing”.
Andrei then continues to discuss France, Germany and in previous writings, the UK, to conclude with the percentages of hostility from Europe to Russia that are growing sharply. Here it is:

The situation currently is:
1. West Asia and the Israeli takeover, (according to a modern day rendition of Abrahm), and I’ve updated on Syria this morning on the War and Genocide thread,
2. The European theater that is in preparation,
3. The Empire’s war in Asia against China.
The list of ongoing wars in the world was compiled for this purpose. So that we can see which parts of ongoing wars will be stitched together and which ones will be allowed to fizzle.
Wars are raging across our world and most of them are stoked to become perpetual
The strategy of empire has not changed, although it looks tattered. “The strategy of empire, up to now, the denial of world development through chaos creation, is unravelling. Nevertheless, imperialist aspirations still endure. The pattern has changed toward attempts to use dwindling economic rights as a wedge for military insertion to expand the hegemonic stake.”
It is existential for Russia and for Iran and for those that will suffer and be drawn into the expansion of the hegemonic stake. Soon, it will become existential for China as well. We can only hope that the civilizational states remain strong enough to stop or derail this train. Pragmatism demands that we cannot throw the empire away before the empire is done with. BDS: boycott them, divest from them and sanction them in word, deed, and action. Once this is no longer necessary, then they will be gone. Currently, they look very much alive to me. I only look at Gaza, and I know they are still alive.
Typically, on camera, Fatboy flat out denied “asking”…even though everybody knows he said it. Doctorow and McGovern both spoke of European conformism being their overarching character, the men seemed somewhat surprised too. Do I hear the heels click and a shouted Jawohl Mein Fuhrer! At least the echo… Murkinz are… Read more »
