The chaos and loss of control: big doodoo

The translated Russian (Memorandum) on the Settlement of the Ukrainian Crisis calls for complete withdrawal in the areas of Crimea, the LPR, the DPR, and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and international recognition of those areas as Russian.

A very short while after the talks came to an end, Ukraine attacked (drones) electrical facilities, causing a complete blackout in the Zaporozhye Region and leaving parts of Kherson without electricity.

Pepe Escobar is in Moscow now, talking to his sources. The whispers in those circles are, and he notes: The Oreshnik Band is gettin’ ready to boogie. Tonight or tomorrow night. Ooh babe we gotta good thing goin’.

Of course, Russia has not hit back yet for the massive drone strikes on Russian airfields or for the train and bridge disaster.  It looks reasonably quiet tonight, but everyone is waiting.  There’s a kind of hush, all over the world …

I wonder if this time, Trump will be briefed or perhaps pay attention to his briefings. We hear now that Lindsay Graham (that crazy man) and some others were in Kiev during the night of the train derailment and massive drone strikes on Russian airfields.  We also hear that Pete Hegseth purportedly watched the happenings live, so somebody knew something.

General Flynn on X:
Zelensky’s audacity inflicted a geopolitical insult on Trump and the United States.

Zelensky has put global security at risk without a second thought, giving the green light to attacks on Russian airports without Trump’s knowledge, complains retired US general Michael Flynn on the X network.

“It therefore seems that Zelensky has just given the green light to strike Russian nuclear bombers on the runway without consulting Donald Trump. If Ukraine is willing to strike with strategic consequences without notifying the White House, we are no longer just allies with a certain desynchronization: we are a war party flying blindly and out of control.“

In addition, talks with Iran are either falling apart or proceeding apace – the story changes.  Iran says the US demands are incoherent and disjointed, and they change.  There were rumors of a ‘secret offer’ from the US where they would allow Iran some enrichment. Latest is that Trump is bellowing on his Truth Social that there will be no enrichment at all.  Well, he may like his Truth Social but nobody is paying attention.

What do we read from all this besides incredible chaos?

• Trump has lost control over his boyz. They are doing what they feel like doing and acting in their own interests doing what they would like to do.  There is no strategy, only a Truth Social.
• He has lost control, if he ever had any, in Ukraine and over the EU and its European poodles.
• He has also lost control of the Tariffs, as even Japan says they will not negotiate.
• Witkoff is out of his depth (with the Palestinian negotiations as well) and it is now a clear case of being influenced by Israel or the Peter Principle, where he has been promoted to the level of his natural incompetence.

In my previous career doing massive and costly IT projects, walking a thin line between a successful project and being sued, we had a customer project manager who was a committed Christian.  Never did a lousy word pass his lips.  I hear his comment repeated in my memory tonight.

We are in deep doodoo now!
