A major land convoy comprised of North African volunteers has been organized to head to Palestine through Egypt to break the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.  Thousands of people from different countries are heading toward the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip to demand entry into the besieged territory.

I follow an Israeli channel to see the difference in reporting and how the media is steered. They have a new information set that they are sending into the ether and now, they point to all the other wars and pretend that their war is not as serious as others. “In truth, it’s relatively minor compared to Sudan, Yemen, Ukraine, and other conflict zones. The only thing “unprecedented” is the world’s hysteric reaction.”

They do forget to say that there is a major difference between war and genocide.

Defined by intent, not by method or means.
Visible without magnification—if we look with context, at the victims: what they share is being part of a group, as such. Because of it, they get killed, tortured, maimed, starved, raped, massacred. In dozens or hundreds daily.

A collective act. A criminal venture.
To end it, we must first be willing to see it.

In the meantime, the Israeli goverment stands on the brink of collapse and we can only but pray. From Israeli Press and note, they talk about war, but it is not war, it is genocide:

Spittle flecked screaming Israeli’s stops aid from flowing into Gaza, in their hundreds, many of them with their children in their hands and on their hips. Al Mayadeen News said Israeli media have reported that Avigdor Lieberman, head of the “Yisrael Beiteinu” party, has accused the Israeli government of supplying weapons to the ISIS-affiliated group in Gaza to fight Hamas.

If true, this revelation opens the door to a host of serious implications. While not the least surprising, it certainly raises pressing questions. More importantly, the fact that such a statement has been made public at this particular moment speaks volumes about the current state of Israel’s internal political landscape. It’s a telling indicator of deep fractures and shifting power dynamics.

The UN Security Council tries again.  Cearly from Israeli sources:

The United Nations Security Council today will vote on a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

The resolution does not condition the ceasefire on the release of the remaining hostages.

In other words, it leaves Hamas in power, armed, and holding 58 Israelis.

Israeli ambassador Danny Danon (whose voice I cannot even abide):

“This resolution doesn’t advance humanitarian relief. It undermines it. It ignores a working system in favor of political agendas. It ignores the one party still endangering civilians in Gaza: Hamas, the group that hijacks trucks and stockpiles the aid to their benefit.

“If you care about the people of Gaza, then stop protecting those who started this war and continue to prolong it. If you care about aid, then help ensure it reaches civilians and not terrorists.”

The United States is expected to veto the resolution, though all other members of the Security Council will likely vote in favor.

The Madleen, on the way to Gaza to attempt to break the siege, had drones flying across and above the vessel in the last hours. I am ambivalent about the presence of Greta Thunberg on the ship, but then again, we have to take what we can get. I trust they will keep the focus on Gaza and not on themselves. There have been a number of Gaza Freedom Flotillas through the years, and not one has made it through.

The Witkoff Massacre

Direct shooting into the crowd assembling for aid distribution. The attack occurred as massive crowds were waiting for aid outside a U.S. aid distribution center after being told to go there to receive aid. At least 31 Palestinians killed and 200 injured by Israeli fire near US-backed aid distribution site.

The attack came shortly after US rejected Hamas’s ‘totally unacceptable’ response to a ceasefire proposal.

Doctors report that every victim brought to the hospital had a single bullet wound to the head or chest, clear evidence of deliberate, targeted killing.

The lying Israeli Media frames it like this: “Gazans line up this morning at an aid distribution point near Rafah in southern Gaza. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation distribution points have in their first week of operation provided millions of meals to tens of thousands of Gaza families.”

The “Israeli” enemy has waged a war of genocide in Gaza for 20 months (more than 600 days); the Palestinian tragedy itself spans 77 years. The most recent is that in the past 12 hours, the Zionist occupation bombed more than 60 buildings in Gaza.

At times, it is impossible to update this thread, and one has to step away. Yesterday was such a day. Today, there is a wide range of themes to choose from. Everything is now at a maximum crisis level.  What do we choose?

-The 100% famine and people being starved to death? People having to run through a hail of bullets to get to aid distribution, which the investigative journalists tell us that Israel entirely financially owns the aid? The daily reports of aid stations refusing to hand out aid, and then, after claiming a station is open, people arrive and find it closed?

-Or do we choose as a theme children and families being burnt in their tents, having been shot at with incendiary ammunition to create fire to burn and char them to death

-Or is the better theme for the day the legal issues via Francesca Albanese and the UN Security Council?  Francesca is in extreme danger.  The Israeli smearing mob has tried.  They cannot delegitimize her with sexual scandal.  Financial scandal, they’ve tried and failed, and all that is left is a threat to her life.

-Or do we talk about the internal decay in Israel and all they have left, which is binary? Stop or continue the carnage. Continuing is all they have left. European countries now, only now, express that this human carnage must end? Of course, they see the writing on the wall and want to be seen as being on the right side.  We will take what we get, but this effort by no means indicates an actual change of heart.  Posturing is all they know how to do.

-Or could the theme be the constant bombing of anything still standing?

-Or the medical disaster, where doctors and medical staff are burning out and crying that they cannot stand the children in pain while having no medical supplies to use?

-Then, there is always Prof. Marandi, who, daily, at least three times, speaks out.

-There is always the Trump administration to talk about, which is now considering sanctions on Chile only because Chile withdrew its diplomatic staff from Israel?

-We can choose a theme for today, the ceasefire or peace negotiations, which are a sham, and there only to provide a theater in order to continue the butchery. The latest press is that Hamas accepts Witkoff’s proposal on Gaza, but with reservations — Al Arabiya reports

▪️ Demands ‘real guarantees’ from US that Israel will comply with agreement

-The world is out in the streets, and the new commitment is that the people will not leave the streets. They will stay and continue protesting until the genocide is stopped.  Activists in the streets are also brutally attacked.

-We can also discuss our diverse group of video and show makers, who have stopped discussing genocide. Better to ignore those!

-There is also Netanyahu, who has blocked a visit by Middle East ministers to the West Bank, saying, ‘Israel will NOT cooperate’. Saudi, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey FMs planned talks on ‘establishment of Palestinian state’. There is another reason for this block, and it is that Netanyahu wants to hide the horror of his handiwork.  (Remember, they shot at a previous visiting delegation).  Don’t you touch our genocide!  

-There is also the Al-Qassam fighters, who are within their ability, again fighting the Israeli Defense Force soldiers, and making them cry.

-Yemen has indicated that it will now target Israel’s warplanes.

-The US is reportedly sifting through the social media of possible visitors and students to make sure they don’t say a bad word about good Israel. The announcement also states that they will pursue international organizations.
