Trump Talks Ceasefire – But Russia Dictates the Terms

So here we are… Trump’s team huddling with Kiev’s puppets in Jeddah, dangling a 30-day ceasefire like a cheap bribe, and now Steve Witkoff is Moscow-bound. The deal on the table? A temporary pause, a “cool-down period” that conveniently lets Ukraine regroup, rearm, and reinsert Western mercenaries into the battlefield.

Moscow won’t fall for the trap.

The Kremlin has made it clear: Russia isn’t interested in a ceasefire that simply allows the US to press ‘pause’ on its failed war, only to restart it later. This isn’t 2015. This isn’t Minsk 2. Russia won’t be played again. The only deal that matters is a long-term peace based on battlefield realities, not Washington’s PR stunts.

And let’s talk about battlefield realities:

🔹 Russia holds the advantage, militarily, economically, and strategically. The West’s war machine is sputtering, Ukrainian forces are collapsing, and NATO’s arsenals are running dry.

🔹 The US needs a way out. Washington is scrambling, desperate to save face. The empire isn’t offering peace, it’s looking for a way to pretend it didn’t lose.

🔹 Russia holds all the cards. If there’s any “talk” to be had, it won’t be about a meaningless ceasefire, it will be about Ukraine’s surrender, territorial concessions, and the complete rollback of NATO’s encroachment. That’s the only language Russia speaks now.

Trump says he “hopes” Russia agrees. Russia has already answered on the battlefield. And that answer is clear: Peace will be on Moscow’s terms, or there will be no peace at all.

Judge Napolitano has an exceptional interview with Konstantin Malofeev during his current sojourn in Moscow. Malofeev is articulate in English, and the two cover a lot of ground in a short time. Very heartening to think about this quality of information about Russia being brought to the US: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKroBf8We0M ~~… Read more »

perhaps the very last card left to Orange was the normalization and rapprochement desperately sought by Russia-Iran-China, to end the global Chaos, and at the least to avert Armageddon. For development and progress and stability to occur worldwide, there must be some security and predictability between the largest actors. That’s… Read more »

throughout, it’s been my sense that russia knew the enemy well enough to ensure she was neither hoodwinked nor betrayed. ms merkel was a well known adversary. her tender assurances would have been anticipated by the entire russian diplomatic core, seated or standing in the hall. russia knew what they… Read more »

You’re correct … it was Peskov … and I agree … Rubio and Walz looked uncomfortable.

I think you are right, I expect the Hazenuts will be coming over the horizon soon. Russians are finished with agreements with the West.

“what this demonstrates more than anything is that the supposed divide between the US & Europe is an act.”
