Dump Trump’s News Cycle
The strategy of empire going forward will be one of denial of world development through chaos creation.
Full-on and open-throated Trump supporters are now beginning to say .. WHAT? It is too early to say that he is beginning to lose parts of this base, but the first signs are there.
The continual half-day-long press chats every morning are taking the air out of the room. The way of reporting is with short clips that carry on all day long, with one comment after the other, and fifty or a hundred journalists are full-time on Trump dropping one or two sentences. RT is now a Trump reporting machine and the rest of the English press in Russia is not much better. This method of release is now old news because much of what we hear is threats to others from this man who is convinced he talks for the world. Well, I am here to tell you he does not. So, we have to decide how to keep the Trump fluff short, without falling into his rabbit hole.
Here it is. Yesterday Trump announced:
- that he will take the military equipment left in Afghanistan back.
- that he will start tariffs on Canada and Mexico at 25% on the 4th of March
- that Europe will be tariffed at 25% from the 4th of March
- that he will add a 10% tariff to China (and no, I did not even pay attention to what – there are so many)
- that aluminum and steel will now have tariffs of 25%
- that the total amount of U.S. aid worldwide will be cut by $60 billion. (NED cannot operate as they have no money coming in from USAid.)
- that the first part of the ceasefire in Gaza is now over and he told Netanyahu that it is now his choice as to how to continue. Netanyahu continued and the talks continue
- that the Venezuelan oil concessions are now revoked.
Today Trump has extended the executive order on US sanctions against Russia over Ukraine for one more year.

Tomorrow if anyone is to be believed, Trump will sign a rare earth mineral deal with a President that is not legally a president for minerals that are not really there.

I think the only foreign policy that has been concretely constructed is what appears to be rekindling the relationship with Russia.
