Daily Chronicles

Today, we find ourselves resisting the First War on BRICS in its various salients. We are in madness, in a strategy of chaos from the side of the empire who cannot fight but are singularly talented at fomenting chaos in order to swoop in, brutally kill, grab and gain benefit. The strategy of empire going forward will be one of denial of world development through chaos creation. While the approach has shifted, imperialist aspirations endure.

We can now, with confidence, say that the G20 is a BRICS hangout, with invited visitors- a stunning take-over.

Daily Chronicles features issues, small or large, that have the potential to change our world. We focus on anti-human systems that have to go and be replaced by more straightforward and honest endeavors aimed at growing food worth eating, doing honest trade, running an honest financial system, healing people, traveling, building places worth living in, creating cool technology, going to space, and learning useful things.

Zelenski gets a UK loan of ยฃ2.6 BILLION which will be funded they say by interest from Russian frozen assets and the EU may give Ukraine 100s of BILLIONS in aid at March 6 summit โ€” Macron. The Australian Prime Minister said he was ready to allocate $1.5 billion to Ukraine, of which $1.3 billion would be given as military aid.
Norway fuel giant Haltbakk Bunkers stops supply for US forces.

If the theory that the US wanted to hand Ukraine wholesale to Europe to get rid of it is correct, then it is working. In the US, the pressers of the Trump team still say that Trump is the only one that can create a peace here, but now his team says No More Talks with Ukraine. We will have to see how this, if it happens, affects the talks with Russia.

Wheels are coming off in the collective west. Russia stands unmoved and the SMO continues.

Joke of the day:

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

For the first time in weeks, a Shabbat will pass with no hostage release and no transfer of slain loved ones. Palestinian prisoners will not be released.

The first phase of the ceasefire has ended. Israel wants to extend the first phase and get more live hostages out of Gaza. Hamas demands moving to phase two. Israel rejects this because it means fully withdrawing the IDF from Gaza and leaving Hamas in control.

For Israel, the war is far from over.

Big fight in the Oval Office today. Trump was going to end the war in 24 hours and I guess no agreement on minerals. ย  Take a look:

Zelensky thrown out on his seating area. Hollywood screenwriters dictating their rates. Medvedev was quick with a comment:

A fierce scolding in the Oval Office.
For the first time, Trump told the cocaine clown the truth to his face: the Kiev regime is gambling with World War III. And the ungrateful swine got a hard slap in the face from the owners of the pigsty. That’s a good thing, but not enough โ€“ we must stop military aid to the Nazi machine.

โ€˜How Trump and Vanceโ€ฆ Didn’t punch this SCUMBAGโ€™ โ€” Russian FM spox Maria Zakharova. โ€˜I think Zelensky’s BIGGEST lieโ€ฆ that the Kiev regime in 2022 was left alone, without supportโ€™

This clip has the whole deal when the Ukrainian Ambassador (started crying just after this) asked What if Russia breaks the ceasefire and Trump says .. what a bomb drops on your head!
https://t.me/geopolitics_live/44911

Winners and losers:
Trump lost what he was looking for in terms of stopping the war.
Trump lost what we think was a mineral agreement.
Zelenski probably lost his continued fine existence in one way or another. Nobody will employ him as a comedian. He is frantically writing to each European politician and they are frantically giving him love notes.
Russia won. They will finish this war on the battlefield if it does not just start fizzling out now.

Update: Zelenski is now crying on Fox News and digging deeper the hole that he is in – reiterating his usual talking points. Trump is spewing venom in front of the White House with his tame reporters. What a mess. Do we all understand now that summits between Presidents (even a Narcofรผhrer if you want to acknowledge such a creature) need to be organized? On diplomatic terms this is very poor of the Trump team but we know by now that the US have no decent diplomats. Possibly no preparation was done and there was just an assumption that Narcofรผhrer would dance like a trained monkey. Open that up so that we can all understand why Russia (and any Chinese diplomat) prepares painstakingly for summits such as this. Perhaps the US will begin to understand the Russian insistance that the core problems need to be addressed first. Trump is still bellowing about ‘a ceasefire that can take place immediately’. Has he paid no attention to the Russians? Luckily we were not charged for circus tickets – it was all for free.

(Now can we do the same to Netanyahu? Aaah, I forgot, that is good war.)

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

China, in the voice of spokesperson, Lin Jian, is dictating! The friendly diplomacy is over.

‘Political manipulation, hypocrisy and double standards’ โ€” China’s FM Spox blasts US lawmakers who proposed resolution claiming ‘Hong Kong residents deprived of fundamental rights’

‘Immediately stop meddling in China’s internal affairs’

It is worth listening to sense the tone.ย  Everyone now are Wolf Warriors.

https://t.me/EurasianChoice/47408

It is also worth while to take a look at China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jianโ€™s Regular Press Conference on February 28. https://www.fmprc.gov.cn/mfa_eng/xw/fyrbt/lxjzh/202502/t20250228_11566241.html China’s three spokespeople are usually cool as cucumbers. This time he lost it a bit.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Key statements of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov:

๐Ÿ”นRussia wants to build dialogue with other countries, including the US, from a position of respect and mutual benefit;

๐Ÿ”นThe details of Russia-US talks in Istanbul will be announced through foreign ministries;

๐Ÿ”นIt is better to wait for the results of contacts between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy before making any assessments;

๐Ÿ”นThe Russian military is monitoring the situation in the Baltic region and taking appropriate measures against the background of Sweden’s membership in NATO;

๐Ÿ”นThe authorities in Kiev do not “shy away from anything,” in the case of the attempted assassination of Metropolitan Tikhon they have “nothing sacred.”

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

There is nothing to see in the negotiations between Russia and the US yesterday in Istanbul.ย  It was purely technical.

Russian Foreign Ministry on yesterday’s negotiations between Russia and the US in Istanbul:

On February 27, Russian-American consultations in an expert format were held in Istanbul between the Director of the North Atlantic Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Darchiev and US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Coulter.

In accordance with the instructions of the heads of the foreign policy departments, ways to overcome numerous “irritants” inherited from previous American administrations were discussed in detail, as well as issues related to Russia’s diplomatic property in the United States were touched upon in the context of the return to the Russian side of six real estate properties illegally seized in the period 2016-2018.

In concrete terms, the American side was asked to consider the possibility of restoring direct air traffic. The discussions were meaningful and businesslike.

Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur oPt @FranceskAlbs
ALERT: What the new US Administration is doing is very clear and strategic: it is called psychological overwhelming. Hitting us every day with XXL doses of baffling rhetoric and erratic policies serves to “control the script”, distracting and dishorienting us, normalising the absurd, all while disrupting global stability (and consolidating US control).

Russian / US talks in Istanbul

The talks will be held behind closed doors, and the parties did not provide the names of their delegation members.

ISTANBUL, February 27. /TASS/. Russiaโ€™s delegation has arrived at the Istanbul residence of the US consul general, where the two countries will hold a meeting on embassy issues, a TASS correspondent reported.

Several dozen journalists have gathered in front of the residence. The talks will be held behind closed doors; the parties did not provide the names of their delegation members.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said earlier that “diplomats and high-level experts will meet to discuss systemic problems.”

The talks kicked off at 10:00 a.m. local time (7:00 a.m. GMT) as scheduled.

Moscow expects the meeting to make it clear how capable the parties are of moving forward quickly and effectively in terms of resuming the normal operation of the two countriesโ€™ embassies.

Prior to the meeting, Moscow and Washington held two rounds of preliminary technical consultations.

(There is a reason that the venue of the talks changed. The Saudis at the previous talks in Riyadh did not understand that they were by no means part of the talks in any way whatsoever, and tried to mediate. They even invited Zelenski. In reality, they were the table cleaners. The other reason of course is security. Of course the names of the delegates will be leaked.)

February 26

Palestinian resistance forces have handed over the bodies of four Israeli captives to the Red Cross at the Kerem Shalom crossing.

At the same time, 620 Palestinian prisoners are being released from Ofer Prison. Among them, 445 are from the Gaza Strip and were taken during the Israeli invasion, including women and children. The group also includes 115 Palestinians serving life or long sentences, with around 48 returning to the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, while nearly 100 will be deported to Egypt.

Occupation Israel is now doing the joint releases in the dark as they cannot stand seeing the joy of the Palestinians. They also fired tear gas as Palestinian crowds awaiting the release of prisoners.

Egypt has rejected a proposal made by Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid that Cairo, instead of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, temporarily run the Gaza Strip, dismissing such plans as “unacceptable.”

Trump announces 25% TARIFFS on EU ‘on cars, and all other things’

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Peskov – on the personal meeting between Putin and Trump:

On the personal meeting, there is an understanding that it should take place and there is an understanding that it should be well prepared. This is the understanding of the two presidents. Now there is a step-by-step implementation of the agreements that both heads of state and heads of high-level delegations reached in Riyadh. Contacts are being prepared at the expert level through the Foreign Ministry. This way the matter will reach the top-level preparations.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Two arrests of note:

Calin Georgescu has been stopped in traffic and taken in for questioning by the General Prosecutors Office over alleged illegal campaign financing. Searches have been carried out among members of his entourage.ย  The Georgescu saga has plagued Romania and its EU and NATO overlords since the shock cancelation of elections in December, which the candidate won with a plurality in the first round.ย  https://t.me/geopolitics_live/44711

ย The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has delivered a first-instance verdict against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik for “disregarding the decisions” of High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt.ย  https://t.me/geopolitics_live/44721

One arrest not on the cards:

Friedrich Merz, the new leader of Germany, stated that Netanyahu is welcome to Germany and he won’t be arrested.ย  Germany is a signatory to the Rome Accords.ย  (Apologies for the BBC link) ย  https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cpv4n0dg3v3o

An agreement has been reached regarding the release of Palestinian detainees from Israeli occupation prisons after their release was initially prevented by Israel on Saturday. As part of the deal, the detainees who were not freed on Saturday will be released Thursday in a single batch, along with an exchange of bodies.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Daniel Levy, a British-Israeli political analyst and former peace negotiator, stated: “A minute of silence for each of the Bibas children would be appropriate, as would a minute of silence for each of the more than 18,000 Palestinian children murdered in Israel’s devastation of Gaza. That silence would extend to over 300 hours.”

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Putin, Trump discuss halving defense budgets, China politely disagrees.

‘China’s limited defense spending is completely out of the need of safeguarding national sovereignty and the need of maintaining world peace’ โ€” Chinese FM spokesman

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Step by step forward.

โ–ซ๏ธThe Russian Armed Forces launched (https://t.me/mod_russia_en/19689) a high-precision strike by air-based weapons and strike unmanned aerial vehicles at the infrastructure of Ukrainian military airfields. The goals of the strike were achieved.

โ–ซ๏ธThe Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue (https://t.me/mod_russia_en/19691) the operation to neutralise AFU formations on the territory of Kursk region. Over the past 24 hours, the AFU losses amounted to more than 220 troops, two tanks, one armoured personnel carrier, 25 armoured fighting vehicles, 18 motor vehicles, eight artillery guns, one mortar, five UAV command posts, and three ammunition depots.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Mr Lavrov is now in Qatar. Quite a range of visits that he is engaged in.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid presents a plan for Egypt to assume “guardianship” of postwar Gaza. Lapid’s plan calls for an Egyptian-led Arab force that would be responsible for disarming and rebuilding Gaza, as well as helping establish a new government. Egypt, in turn, would be incentivized with massive international debt relief. Lapid’s plan permits any Palestinian who wishes to leave Gaza to do so. It would also allow the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza after “a process of reform and de-radicalization, with measurable indicators.” This is published in Haaretz and behind a pay wall. In a day or so we can use a paywall ripper to see if there are details. The desperation to get rid of Hamas (and Hezbollah) is now reaching comical proportions.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Trump: I will impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico. Duties will come into force after March 4.

(This could have been foreseen. He is now done on his porkies on Russia and now it is back to the cycle of attacking the smaller countries. With all the flurry of narrative, it is the old extractive empire targeting their efforts).

Russia’s Rosscongress is arranging a seminar: Doing Business in Mexico: Russian Experience and Outlook webinar to be held on 26 February

๐Ÿ“ŒThe event will be conducted in anticipation of the Russiaโ€“Mexico Business Forum (https://roscongress.org/en/events/biznes-forum-rossiya-meksika/about/) scheduled for 3 April 2025 in Mexico City.

“The way Russia and Mexico are strengthening economic ties testifies to the high level of interest that exists. Mexico has continued to trade with Russia, and Russian companies are expanding their presence in the strategically important agricultural and energy spheres. This webinar will highlight some of the important opportunities that exist for continued growth and cooperation,” Roscongress Foundation Chairman and CEO Alexander Stuglev said.

We have this iconic quote from Michael Hudson: Debts that can’t be paid, won’t be paid. Let’s work with that for a moment. If you make it too difficult for your trade partners to trade with you, they won’t.

Currently, Ukraine is getting the stick while Russia gets the carrot.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Cooperation with the US on rare earths can begin only after the normalization of relations and the Ukrainian settlement, Peskov said.

While we see a storm of words in the UN and UNSC, the Russian Armed Forces launched a high-precision strike by air-based weapons and strike unmanned aerial vehicles at the infrastructure of Ukrainian military airfields. The goals of the strike were achieved.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Lebanese MP Hassan Fadlallah stated that a fierce campaign was launched against the funeral of Sayyed Hassan and Sayyed Hashem.

He revealed that foreign embassies contacted individuals in an attempt to dissuade them from attending the ceremony.

Additionally, he noted that intimidation tactics, including spreading false concerns over weather conditions and security, were used to try to deter people from participating.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in Iran on a working visit, the Foreign Ministry says.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Key statements of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov:

๐Ÿ”นThe US needs rare earth metals, and Russia will be open to cooperation when the time comes; (cooperation with the US on rare earths can begin only after the normalization of relations and the Ukrainian settlement, Peskov said.)

๐Ÿ”นRussia interacts with all the participants from the “Friends of Peace” group on Ukraine;

๐Ÿ”นThe “Friends of Peace” group is not discussing specific plans for the Ukrainian settlement, but the vision of prospects for reaching it;

๐Ÿ”นThe next contacts between Russia and the US will take place through the Foreign Ministry, these are the contacts at the expert level;

๐Ÿ”นThe statements from Brussels indicate that the EU is far from a balanced approach to Ukraine, and Russia hopes this will change after the contacts with the US;

๐Ÿ”นMoscow will not comment on the statements that Russia would not allegedly be against the deployment of peacekeepers in Ukraine;

๐Ÿ”นMuch in Russia-US relations has been destroyed in recent years, it is impossible to restore this overnight, as much of work remains to be done;

๐Ÿ”นMoscow sees that the US is taking a more balanced position in the UN, which helps to settle the conflict in Ukraine;

๐Ÿ”นThere is no talk yet of concluding bilateral agreements between Russia and the US on the issues of mutual interest;

๐Ÿ”นRussia continues contacts with Syrian authorities, and the working process is underway;

๐Ÿ”นRussian and US leaders show political will to restore the bilateral dialogue;

๐Ÿ”นThe Kremlin accepts Serbian President Alexandar Vucic’s apology for Serbia’s support of the anti-Russian resolution on Ukraine in the UN;

๐Ÿ”นRussia and the US need small steps toward each other to restore trust.

February 24

Generally we observe lots of empty and meaningless talk and very little real action.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Today the U.S. opposes the draft UN General Assembly resolution from Ukraine, condemning Russiaโ€™s aggression against Ukraine and has called for its withdrawal.ย ย  Voting Record:ย  https://sovereignista.com/2025/02/24/52581/

โžก๏ธ Instead, the U.S. has introduced its own resolution, referring to the war as a “conflict” and calling for a cessation of ALL hostilities.

โžก๏ธ The American representative to the UN stated that this new resolution will “look forward, not backwards” and create a pathway to peace.

Mr Nebenzia knows every trick in the book. He noted that this US resolution is not bad, they have to go back and add the provisions on root causes and then Russia will take a look at it again.

The US has seen the real face of Zelensky and realized he is NOT interested in peace โ€” Russia’s envoy to UN Nebenzya

“‘You either play along with Zelensky, supporting incantations divorced from reality OR make a choice that can stop hostiles in Ukraine’ โ€” Nebenzya urges UN colleagues to vote wisely on EU/US texts”

Lavrov at his meeting with Turkey stated:

“Just immediately ‘make peace’, leave the line of contact, and then think what to do – we have always emphasized that this option will not suit us. We have already tried this option in April 2022 in Istanbul, when we reached an agreement based on the principles that the Ukrainians themselves proposed to us.

They asked us to stop the advance of our troops as a goodwill gesture. Even to pull back a little, which we did. The only result was that the West, represented by then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, forbade Ukraine to sign the treaty it had initiated.

We will stop hostilities only when the negotiations produce a firm and sustainable result satisfactory to Russia.

China is speaking now.ย  The diplomat said that root causes must be taken into account (in full support of Russia), the parties must get to a political settlement and China will do everything in its power to support such a process.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

In the night of 24 February three years ago the Russian SMO started. Who would have thought that conflict would still be continuing today.

Most of the European chihuahuas arrived in Kiev today to support pretend-Zelenski. We get brilliant, highly intelligent comments e.g., “Peace is More Dangerous than War” from the amazingly talented and very important President of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen. (Don’t let your brain turn to frommage).

To highlight the very important work being done by the chihuahua faction, some Molotov Cocktails were tossed at the Russian Embassy in Marseille, France last night. There were no injuries or material damage.

๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น๐Ÿ”น

Putin and Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation in the previous hours and particularly emphasized that the Russian-Chinese foreign policy tie is the most important stabilizing factor in world affairs and is not subject to external influence , the Kremlin says. There is a plan for Putin to visit China and for Xi to visit Russia in the next months.

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on a meeting between Putin and Trump:

The agreement on the meeting must be preceded by the most intensive preparatory work. In fact, it has already begun. And the negotiations in Riyadh are an important link, an important element of this work. The questions are the same.

Despite the many trial balloons from the US (expecting Russia to fulfil Trump’s election promise of peace), a Russian-American meeting at the level of heads of relevant departments is planned for some time in the next two weeks, the parties will discuss eliminating irritants in bilateral relations, this contact will precede consultations at the level of deputies.

If we formulate them in general terms, then the question is about starting to move towards normalizing relations between our countries, finding ways to resolve the most acute and potentially very, very dangerous situations, of which there are many, Ukraine among them. For now, preparations for the Russian-American summit are in their initial stages.

There is no understanding of what Trump’s “peace plan” for Ukraine is after the Russian-American meeting in Riyadh, Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov told RIA Novosti
