I agree with a lot of what Wolff says, but I do think he falls into the trap of an ideological mindset which obscures the fact that all the U$ has left on its political landscape is a completely dysfunctional duopoly, with elections being little more than very badly staged… Read more »

The Atlantic has an article entitled FBI Agents are Stunned by the Scale of the Expected Trump Purge. When cops are fired that is a purge. Another word not used is pogrom. The harassment and mass deportation of migrants is a pogrom.
