โญ๏ธ ๐น๐ฉ๐น๐ท The Chadian army, which has ended its military cooperation with France, is reportedly being trained by Turkish military personnel๐ฌ “Africa has declared war on the colonial mindset. The Chadian administration, which will send French soldiers home by January 31, is expanding its cooperation with Turkey. In addition to defense agreements, the Turkish armed forces will train the Chadian army,” the newspaper Tรผrkiye reported.
The media outlet also noted that for the past five to six years, Turkey has been supporting Chad by providing advanced military training and selling weapons to strengthen its defense, particularly against terrorism.

โญ๐ณ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ง๐ซ West Africa bloc offers junta-led states six months to rethink exitMali, Burkina Faso and Niger will have a six-month grace period after their scheduled exit from West Africa’s main political and economic group next month during which the ECOWAS bloc will try to persuade them to stay.
The summit of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) was seen as a chance to address the impending withdrawal of the three countries on Jan. 29, a year after they jointly announced they would leave in a reversal of decades of regional integration.
ECOWAS has so far failed in its goal to push them to reconsider, while the three countries in the insurgency-torn central Sahel region have set up their own alliance, sought ever-closer alignment in defence and other areas and mooted abandoning the West African currency union.
While Jan. 29 remains the official withdrawal date, the effective date for their departure has been extended to July 29 – a transition period during which mediators from the bloc will seek “to bring the three member countries back to ECOWAS without prejudice,” commission president Oumar Touray said at the end of the summit.

BlockedThe Chadians are themselves a heady bunch. Implicated in many crimes against most neighbors — they are among toughest fighters in the world and sought for mercenaries, especially in Sudan, and thus found in most conflict zones.
I think it is realpolitik. It is not lost on Chad that Turks are chief sponsors of the Horde that took over Syria! Yet Frenchie and Turks are open enemies in many theatres. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” And Frenchie was overstretched and in rapid retreat anyhow, and the Turks helped apply the coup de grรขs with their ideal weapon, the drone, against Frenchie’s extremist hordes. Everywhere the NATO-backed Horde is in retreat in the Sahel, even in plagued Sudan. So it aligned nicely for Chad.
And I’m sure Russkies, pleased to repay Frenchie and the entire West, played a comfortable part. This year, Putin hosted their young Junta leader and Lavrov visited Chad

โญ ๐ซ๐ท๐น๐ฉ France will try to disrupt Chad, Cรดte d’Ivoire and Senegal again, a Chadian politician saysThe attack on the N’Djamena presidential palace on January 8 was a result of France’s resistance to Chad’s independence, Takilal Ndolassem Hilaire, national advisor and the president of the Front for the Liberation of Chad party, told Sputnik Africa.
He added that France viewed Chad as a convenient “free aircraft carrier” and was unwilling to relinquish control.
The politician suggested that it was no accident that the French authorities exaggerated the significance of the attack, calling it a coup d’รฉtat. He argued that the West often amplifies events to demonstrate their importance and influence, creating the impression that problems are unsolvable without their intervention.
๐ฃ “Today, everyone knows that the financing of terrorism comes from the West, since there are military leaders who have been arrested. And during their interrogation, they all said that they were financed by the West,” the official added.
He also said that the Chadian capital remained calm, with citizens conducting their usual business, and emphasized that the recent incident wouldn’t disrupt the peace, as the people are calm and desire peace.
โญ ๐น๐ฉ Chadian leader offers condolences “to the families of the heroically fallen” in the attack on the presidencyMahamat Idriss Deby Itno also wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
“I would also like to pay a vibrant tribute to the responsiveness, bravery and professionalism shown by these valiant soldiers in the defense of the Republic’s foremost institution”, he said.
Denouncing the “attempt at destabilization”, the President stressed that “it is now up to the courts to establish the facts, apportion responsibility and apply the full rigour of the law”.
โญ ๐น๐ฉ Attack on the presidential palace in Chad was an assassination attempt, the country’s president states๐ฃ “The attackers of this futile attempt aimed to eliminate me, but they were eliminated by the bravery, vigilance, and courage of the Presidential Guard,” President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno said on January 10, referring to the attack that had targeted the presidential palace.
The Chadian president also described the incident as an “attempt at destabilization.”
On January 8, around 7:45 pm, “a group of ill-intentioned individuals, composed of 24 people in a vehicle, simulated a breakdown of their vehicle,” according to the prosecution. They then attacked several guards at one of the entrances to the presidency using knives. In response, 18 attackers were neutralized, and six were injured.
A presidential guard was killed, and three others were injured, two seriously.

Security forces repelled the attack and, according to information received from the official authorities, the situation is currently under control,” the official statement reads.
In turn, the French agency France24 reported that, according to a source in the security forces, there were not 50 attackers, but 19, and they belong to the Boko Haram group, which operates in the Lake Chad region on the border with Cameroon, Nigeria and Niger.

The militants attempted a surprise attack, but were eliminated by return fire from the residence’s security.
UPD: According to the latest government statements, the attack was not carried out by militants, but by some unarmed hooligans. In short, “drone debris” fell on the Presidential Palace. Everything is clear, I hope.

KeymasterI owe our commentator K an answer.
A bit of an intro. When Trump and his trumpets started with wanting to take Greenland and the canal and Canada and whatever more, my reaction was to get dreadfully and soul destroying tired, until I realised that it is not our business. if they want to eat their allies, heck, let them go right ahead. And then we had the discussion about South Africa and I had the same reaction .. because I have written screeds, explained, told history, gave links to read, suggested books and so on and now, I am tired of that. It is incredibly difficult without writing a book. And then, many stories will remain untold as now, they will not do any good. Perhaps I can make a joke and you’ll understand and I’ll make a few comments.
So, there is this old and fun movie, Cool Runnings, the Jamaican Bobsled team. Here is a clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8gVG1wKrvk
So, let me tell you the ‘hell of a place’ that I am coming from. I fought politics, I fled a war and we all received military level training with weapons. I grew up in 3 African countries. I studied post grad 3 African countries. I studied the start of and the basis of apartheid in detail, as we knew the man who designed it. It is still today one of the most beautiful documents of state ever, with full freedom for everyone but separate development, but of course, not acceptable. He described this river with big trees on different banks, big trunks separate and in the branches and the leaves, an economic and social interaction. Dreams, I tell you, beautiful dreams. You see, what we were dealing with, was a clash of civilizations. This was long before any apartheid or any group areas or any harsh repression of anyone. There was of course three colonialists in the mix .. the Dutch initially, and they built a victualling station at the Cape of Good Hope.
The whites were impoverished on their farms. They lived in what was called then, hartbeeshuisies .. take a look at the photos here. https://maroelamedia.co.za/goeiegoed/die-begrip-hartbeeshuisie/ I lived in one of those at some stage, though my dad bought and sold, cattle, farms and we were always in the meat business. As a young child I had one pair of shoes, school shoes – Mary Janes, exactly the same as the local workers on the farms.
As a young child, I remember traveling and migratory tribes calling in for a place to rest, water their cattle, and buy and sell animals. My mom always checked the kids to see if there were illnesses that she could do something aboutโfixing scrapes and sores and stuff. We were all ate out of one pot and were dunked together in the river to bath and we played madly. These tribes were not short of land, they were living what they always had done, migrating from place to place for fresh grazing for their animals. This lifestyle could not continue into the modern world.
The world changed. There was the results of the Bandung conference, we had the influences of Cecil John Rhodes who killed everyone in sight, and the regime of apartheid slowly became inculcated. In Namibia (at that time South West Africa there were the Germans). It was devastating. What I learned later was the devastation of control of information .. so, we started hearing of the fears .. the ‘black’ danger and the ‘red’ danger. As the fear of communism creeped in, so did the controls and the concept that ‘they are lesser’ because, and I remember this well, as soon as ‘they’ get any freedom, they create relationships with the USSR and China. (Thanks USSR and China, for training the military cadres to kill people like me). The white population were put to work in large social programs in order to deal with the poverty. Only certain colors could vote. The UN played its part with forcing countries to establish themselves according to UN laws and rules. The controls rolled into a racism unbelievable (If you want to talk about those lands, you need to know that racism was the dividing line to force people apart – it is really sickening to me that this is used now again, for the same purpose but turned against the Afrikaners .. the whites. It is like Israel doing the same to the Palestinians that was done to them by the Germans.) In South Africa at the time, the black homelands were legalized and the forced removals started. But this is something that few people know. The Black Homelands were financially support and paid for by the Apartheid government. So, look at it like this .. as the whites received social work programs to lift themselves out of poverty the Black Homelands received ample money, to perhaps do the same thing? Anyway, it was a horrible time.
From one country, we were in war and had to flee. We fled in convoy, all the farmers and it was horrible. I was end of convoy and had to gather those that fell behind. The military had helicopters overhead, big old troop carriers in and out of the convoy. The convoy had all kinds of vehicles, sometimes with a prize bull or a price horse on the back of something, chickens, goods of all kinds and in common, everyone was in fear. So, that forms part of the story of ‘where I am coming from’.
I was working for an attorney at the time. My dad wanted me to be a lawyer and this was part of practical work. We had a local guy working in the office part time, and we chatted a lot. He was paying for his studies with his part time job. He was adamant .. they don’t want the whites, they want majority rule (lots of UK interference and all kinds of things at the time). As we fled, I called him, to tell him there would be no office. He said this is not fair, who is going to pay for his studies now. I am not generally an unkind person as ‘we ate out of the same pot’, but said to him to apply at ‘majority rule’.
Then the harsh repression started. Again, it was different in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. Segregated schools, group areas act, people taken from where they were to put up in ‘black homelands’ where I could not go in.
In the beginning of the europeans arriving in Africa, these rules were not there. The mines recruited all over the area workers and they were put up in horrible circumstances. But I lived in two worlds. My one grandmother was a founder member with Emma Mashinini of the Garment Worker’s Union and slept in jail many a time when she was out ‘fighting for her girls’. My grandfather fought for the Allies and the other for the Germans in that time South West Africa. My one uncle worked for a big steel manufacturer and he was the union representative and called a ‘sweetheart’ because he worked for his people and would make agreements best for all. My one grandfather in his school days had to wear a sign around his neck – I am a donkey, I speak Dutch. The Afrikaner community fought the Brits to a standstill until the Brits put the families in concentration camps.
Not only did this small community at that time fight the first war against British colonialism, but they also integrated into Africa.
You mentioned that there is a white town in South Africa and used that as a reason that the black community (many tribes – so please do not generalize) don’t have their lands. There is also Zululand, where the Zulus mainly live. (Now KwaZulu, Natal). It is theirs. How come they can have theirs and the white town causes outrage? The Afrikaners and the Zulus got to those lands more or less at the same time in history. Some Afrikaners went and wanted to negotiate for land with them (long time ago) and the leaders got hacked up for their troubles. This led to the Battle of Blood River, where the Afrikaners won and the river was red with blood. So, no, land was not stolen. It was generally bought and negotiated for. I am sure some was stolen. Bulalani abathakathi (Kill the sorcerers…), was the cry. Today the Zulus are in the process of appointing their King (2 brothers had a fight there for a while but this is happening), and the Afrikaners and Zulus work together to safeguard their lands from expropriation without compensation from the State. They also work together for schooling in local languages which is being outlawed. School should be in English you see, and universities should be woke — horrible.
So this is a bit of a rural historical story. There is nothing in here about cities and towns where there were as many rich black people as whites.
Nothing here should indicate that I support the first, or the second or the third colonization, or the learned racism that exists today. I don’t, not by word and not by deed. I was on platforms there, talking about a vote for everyone. The South African whites were and are a very special people and left to their own devices and without the pressure from the world (integrated and clash of civilizations) the place would have been different. The English colonizers came in, and colonized. They colonized the whites as much as the blacks. The Dutch not so bad, as they kept themselves to the Cape of Good Hope and no harshly repressive rules. The Germans, well, least said. Wars broke out for cattle theft, not for land per se. The story goes once the Afrikaners (at that time ‘voortrekkers’ went on trek and crossed the mountains from the Cape and trekked Northerly to get rid of English colonization, if land was open and available, they could take only as much as they could go with a horse in one day, into the 4 directions. There were no people, only tribes that came around to feed and water their animals.
We will talk about the towns next when I feel like it.

โญ ๐ซ๐ท๐ง๐ซ To end imperialism, Africa must break military cooperation with France, Burkina Faso’s President Traore saysFor Africa, the only way to break with imperialism is to break the defense agreements with France, because the French military is working to weaken African armies so that France has the pretext to stay on the continent, said Burkinabe leader Ibrahim Traore in a speech to the nation, commenting on Emmanuel Macron’s recent remarks condemning the ingratitude of some countries towards Paris.
“If you want a break with these imperialist forces, it’s simple: we denounce the agreements. If we don’t denounce the agreements, if we just say that they are leaving the [military] bases, then we have done nothing,” he noted, referring to the decision of several African countries to break military cooperation agreements with France.
Last Monday, French President Macron said that African nations “forgot to say thank you” to France for its assistance in fighting terrorism in the Sahel region.
“He insulted all Africans […] That’s how this gentleman sees Africa, how he sees Africans. We are not human in his eyes,” Traore stated, commenting on Emmanuel Macron’s remarks.
The French president spoke of ingratitude as a disease that cannot be transmitted to human beings, Traore emphasized.
“But if anyone is ungrateful, it is him. If he is not an atheist, every time he wakes up and prays, he should also pray for Africans, because it is thanks to our ancestors that France exists today,” the head of state said.

KeymasterI would like to put this down here so people can understand the Afrikaner community in South Africa. This is also how they are bootstrapping and building themselves up again. They are not shy to point out their faults, but they do say, and I know this is true, that long before apartheid fell, the community understood that it must be done away with. They say their biggest mistake was to become state-focused instead of freedom-focused. These folks are socialist in their actions, but they consider that as a democratic system. One day they will get it. The hatred for socialism and communism come from what was done via the USSR and China to an extent. Bear in mind they live under a non-friendly state, and as they are learning now, their previous state absorbed them. Currently, they are ‘we must do it ourselves’, and that is what they are doing. Plucky people.
Those who think the South African apartheid had only an effect on black people are very wrong. It deeply hurt those that were of the system as well. The speaker explains that the period of statism deprived them of any of the cultural and social bonds and organizations that bound them together as people because the state absorbed everything. A bad state is probably worse than most things.
Anyway, for one Saturday night at the movies ..

The minister also deplored the lack of genuine sovereignty on the continent, saying that “Africa is only used to serve the great powers, and this is not normal.” Furthermore, the rise to power of Assimi Goรฏta in Mali “is an opportunity” for that Sahelian country, he added.
As an example, he mentioned the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, stressing that “African countries were pressured by the great powers to position themselves.”
This is while Africa “is not against anyone,” he concluded.
โญ ๐ท๐บ๐น๐ฌ Russia begins exporting wheat to Togo, shipping the first batch of 27 thousand tonnes, the Russian embassy saysThe batch was tested and received a safety and quality certificate, as well as a phytosanitary certificate confirming compliance with Togolese requirements.

Deliveries to Morocco increased by 6, to Nigeria by 3.7 and to Kenya by 1.4. Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Djibouti resumed their purchases of Russian wheat last year.

โ๏ธโ๏ธ see the below findings at the UNSC in last day for why these troops are being deployed… Iran and China have similarly been quite active with military support, to prevent the rise and havens of USUK-Salafi terrorist hordes to be subsequently unleashed on them all
๐ @Sputnik Africa:
โญ ๐โ ๏ธ The threat posed by the sharp rise in terrorism in Africa has reached a tipping point, AU commissioner says“The gravity of the threat caused by the exponential growth of terrorism in Africa is overwhelming and startling. [โฆ] We have reached a tipping point and we must act together,” the African Union (AU) Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security Bankole Adeoye said while addressing a UN Security Council ministerial meeting on countering terrorism in Africa.
With over 3,400 attacks and 13,900 fatalities across the continent in 2024 alone, terrorism threatens development, undermines governance, and jeopardizes the AU’s Agenda 2063 and the UN’s Agenda 2030, Adeoye pointed out.
๐ According to the commissioner, the AU is responding with new frameworks, focusing on African leadership and building stronger capabilities. Key priorities include a new Continental Strategic Plan of Action to ensure that inter and intra-regional counterterrorism is sustainable, as well as regional collaboration, and tackling terrorist financing through a comprehensive study.
“The African Union and the United Nations [โฆ] should jointly support predictable, sustainable, and flexible funding for peace enforcement in counter-terrorism contexts,” he added. |media|
[but the gutless compradore AU does not name the names. Who is behind the plague of Rules-based Terrorism, Inc. This is like attributing climate change to bovine gas]
โญ ๐ Illegal actions of the West have created conditions for terrorism in Africa, Russian UN envoy saysSpeaking at a UN Security Council meeting on combating terrorism in Africa, Russian UN Envoy Vassily Nebenzia blamed the rise of terrorism in Africa on Western military actions, particularly the 2011 intervention in Libya.
๐ฌ โUnder the pretext of the ‘responsibility to protect’ concept, they disrupted Libyan statehood and economy,โ he said, adding that these actions created a breeding ground for terrorism.
He further criticized former colonial powers for maintaining military presence in Africa under the guise of counter-terrorism.
๐ฌ โThis presence is no longer welcomed… because the ineffectiveness of these so-called counter-terrorism operations by Western countries is more than obvious,โ he stated.
Nebenzia also highlighted reports of Western-supplied weapons to Ukraine ending up with criminal and terrorist groups, calling for a thorough investigation.
[this is plain speaking]
โญ ๐ The number of terrorist attacks in Africa has increased by 400% over ten years, Algerian FM states๐ฌ “These figures indicate that throughout the last decade, Africa has witnessed a deeply shocking 400% increase in terrorist attacks and a 237% rise in terrorism related deaths,” stated Ahmed Attaf, speaking in New York at a ministerial meeting of the UN Security Council dedicated to counter-terrorism in Africa.
According to him, the epicenter of global terrorism has shifted in recent years to the African Sahel region, which now accounts for 48% of terrorism-related deaths worldwide, whereas in 2007 it accounted for only 1%.
Attaf added that despite the reduction of the terrorist threat in other parts of the world, it has significantly increased in Africa.
The Algerian foreign minister pointed out that terrorist groups have effectively turned into armies.
๐ฌ “We talk first about terrorist groups that are heavily armed and strongly equipped, groups that display highly skilled military strategies and groups that practically deserve to be designated under the name of ‘terrorist armies,'” he said.

KeymasterSouth Africa is in a mess again. Just after the end of the WEF meet, Cyril Ramaphosa signed emminent domain. South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has signed the Expropriation Bill into law. This legislation permits land expropriation without compensation if it is considered to serve the public interest or a public purpose. So, that is not a legal definition and the court cases and threats against the government are piling up. I think this may just kick ’em into a decent system of socialism that people can understand and de-couples from the USSR brutalities which is still the view there. The one fellow actually posted a piece from China .. Very short and really cute.
https://x.com/ShangguanJiewen/status/1882576550652252489
I forgot to say, this is in a time where Zimbabwe has to pay millions for their expropriation scheme — years ago, here in the early 2000’s, and this is getting to courts now. The government has to pay.

We are gonna miss Algeria’s Presidency of the UNSC, ending in two days..๐ @Africa Intel:
โญ ๐จ๐ฉ DRC Emergency: The Critical 24 HoursThe situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is rapidly deteriorating as M23 rebels escalate their offensive near Goma. The next 24 hours are critical, with UN agencies warning of grave humanitarian consequences if immediate action is not taken.
Violence has intensified, with reports of civilian casualties, overwhelmed hospitals, and widespread displacement. The conflict has also led to a breakdown of essential services, including electricity, water, and internet. The UN has called for an immediate halt to the offensive and urged protection for civilians.
The crisis threatens to spill over into a regional conflict, highlighting the urgent need for international intervention. The world is watching closely as the next 24 hours could determine the future of Goma and the broader region.

๐ @Sputnik Africa:
โญ ๐จ๐ฉ โContinuation of Africaโs exploitationโ: conflict in the DR Congo and Western grip in the fight for mineralsPowerful external forces benefit from the instability in the region, using third-party countries to launder DRC minerals into global supply chains, Dr. Lubinda Haabazoka, Director of the Graduate School of Business at the University of Zambia told Sputnik Africa. (https://en.sputniknews.africa/20250129/1070409670.html)
The beneficiaries, he noted, include Taiwan, the United States, and major corporations like Microsoft and IBM, which rely on these resources for electronics and electric vehicle production.
๐ฌ โIt’s in the best interest of those that are using these mineral resources to destabilize Congo, so they can mine illegally and through other third countries, export these mineral resources,โ Dr. Haabazoka pointed out.
โ๏ธ This pattern, reminiscent of colonial exploitation, undermines the countryโs sovereignty and prevents it from fully benefiting from its own natural wealth.
However, there is hope for an African-led resolution. The Southern African Development Community opposes Western interference, potentially altering regional power dynamics. Dr. Haabazoka suggested that with stable leadership, the DRC can better resist external manipulation. However, challenges persist, with foreign-backed groups like M23 still posing threats.
๐ฌ “Other African nations are united and stand with Congo because that is basically every African country might be vulnerable for such,” Dr. Haabazoka concluded.
โญ ๐บ๐ธ๐จ๐ฉ US advises citizens to depart DR Congo, closes its embassy in Kinshasa๐ฌ “Due to an increase in violence throughout the city of Kinshasa, the US Embassy in Kinshasa advises US citizens to shelter-in-place and then safely depart while commercial options are available,” the embassy said in a statement. “The US Embassy in Kinshasa is closed to the public until further notice.”
Moreover, all auxiliary UN staff have left the city of Goma due to the fighting between the Congolese army and rebels, said Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres.
Dujarric added that the main staff and peacekeepers were forced to take shelter within the UN bases.

โ Jack Poso ๐บ๐ธ (@JackPosobiec) February 8, 2025
It is very seldom that we can get a clip of these situations as they are warned they will get killed if they advertise their circumstances.ย Last time I was there, probably 15 years ago, I wanted to go and dig a vegetable garden for one of these camps, but I was told not to as it is hopeless. It gets stolen before a vegetable is even grown.
The cadres stealing here in this video, is from the EFF.ย Economic Freedom Fighters.ย They have this man in parliament.

His name is Julius Malema and he is the one who dances around with a machine gun at his political rallies, singing, Kill the farmer, Kill the Boer.ย He has been taken to court for hatespeech a few times, but each time gets off somehow.ย He is also the one that they interview at RT.ย He has about a 4th grade education but someone gave him a special degree or something.
Now people say to me .. why do they not move?ย Where to?ย There is no right of return to any European country, and that is if they know which country they originally came from.ย Dutch intermarried with French intermarried with Italian intermarried with Belgian .. these people integrated and they are Afrikaners.ย They are now trying to arrange a status as a defined ethnic group.
Now Trump wants to get the ones with skills to move to the US.ย These are the ones that support camps like these. ย ย But these people are an ethnic group.ย There are already videos out telling him that they do not want to move to the US, but if they can get authentication as a defined ethnic group, then they can improve their own circumstances. ย There is also letters to Trump from some of the social support structures asking him please do not sanction – it is these people that will suffer.

BlockedIgnorants like Malema are all too common. They are cultivated by Empire to divide and rule all societies, foreign and domestic. The new Syrian “authorities” are of a similar mold, openly focused on hate and revenge for the past.
No self-respecting people long tolerate such fools in charge of their affairs, unless they do not value stability, security or development.
Now that Trump has opened the gambit to incite even more racial hatred within South Africa, as revenge for the ICJ effort and joining BRICS, we shall see the wisdom of the South African elite. If they’re out of ideas, they can consult Russia, China, or Iran who also have vast lands of multiethnic communities living in harmony. It’s not easy, but it can be done.

ParticipantThey’re Bayraktar drones – presumably available on the open market, so not necessarily implying any great relationship with Turkey, but perhaps so.
More compelling to me was hearing the story of the “advisors” who were let back in 2010, and how they demoralized the army. And how France keeps trying with every stiletto of treachery it can slip between the ribs. And that Traore has already survived ten (!) assassination attempts.
I know it’s France, but the methodology seems universal and eternal. I keep seeing Wormtongue in Lord of the Rings, enfeebling the king of Rohan with his treacherous whispers, until that spell was broken. As we see now in the USA with this revelation about USAID, funding the forces that enfeeble us, stealing our money to pay for it, taking their privilege as a part of the money.
I don’t wish to detract from the African story, only to say we can all learn from each other throughout the resistance, because the story, we see, is the same everywhere. They strike in our weak places and enfeeble us, until someone says no and pushes back, and then they themselves weaken and fold, surprisingly easily when real strength is applied.
But they always retain the power of treachery and that never sleeps. Great lessons here from the story of Traore, who is a great man, and the inspiration from his actions. Many thanks.

BlockedIt appears a sincere help from Turkey, not so much to benefit others, but to avenge themselves with the French. Africa, and Armenia via Azerbaijan, have been places to settle scores.
The French have repeatedly betrayed the Turks, since Ottoman days. Most grievously, and still playing out today, with respect to Syria. They were promised so much by Sarkozy and his clique, including building the Lafarge cement plant near Aleppo and building underground cities..
Then Hollande and Obama came and openly backed the Kurds and pulled out when the Russkie came in. Since then they’ve been gunning for them, including that 2015 terrorist attack at the Bataclan theatre in Paris as reported by Meyssan. Erdogan publicly promised France retribution! Shortly after, in 2016, the West tried to off the deranged Sultan, but he survived, in great part thx to Russkie.
Africa was seen most opportune, and most devastating place, in which to evict overextended, shrinking, and thoroughly detested little Frenchie. Iran and China helped too, through arms, trade, and other support. Russkie came in big time just before the SMO, and kept on coming like a Kamaz truck.
Africa is to France more than what cheap Russian gas is to Germany. Turkey came to bury the arrogant “sick man of Europe” to use an ironic old nickname. All this is one more episode of NATO cannibalizing itself, as the helpless Anglo Empire disintegrated

ParticipantThis is an amazing story. The nation needed funds for defense weapons and instead of loans or taxes, it asked its citizens to donate voluntarily. This is a superb lesson in good governance – it sparks the question, why should any nation require taxes to run its operations? If the performance is adequately transparent, it could be enough to ask for donations from the people. If the money doesn’t come, improve the product or the transparency until it does.
A brilliant success story. And as well as soldier arms and transports, they invested in missiles and drones. A great mix of lethality for the nation’s sovereignty.
I am admiring this nation and its leader and its effort – and its inspiration – more and more.
