Thx, very poignant memories raised by Khairullin.

“It should be said that, starting in the 2000s, exercises near the borders of the DPRK have been conducted according to the same basic scenario – the Americans brazenly and demonstratively practiced an attack on North Korea.”

I’ve followed DPRK on and off and remember these exercises. They were not mere sabre-rattling and demonstration of aggression. The satanic bastards staged them during the harvest season (and mayhap during planting too) when all able bodied north Korean men were desperately needed. IOW, to entrench famine in already starving people!

DRPK really suffered along with Russia for many years after 1991, having benefited from Soviet cooperation and largesse for food security. This is why i suspect Putin visited in person, and a constant stream of their leadership every month. Yeltsin’s criminal oligarchs and entire era are a stain on Russia; they’re atoning heavily, including with other abandoned allies such as Cuba, Syria, Yemen, etc….

the sudden uncontrolled demolition of the USSR by the supranational zionazis was an unmitigated catastrophe, and remains still so, for huge swathes of humanity reliant on their anti-imperialist protection and basic resiliency and survival

one of the stories shared on moa (by dany or another) regarding jean pierre petit is that he’s still alive, 87, & continuing to lecture in such halls as will invite him.  he’s a celeb & the talk of social media amongst many french scholars & whatsoever remains of the left intelligentsia & young idealists after his harrowing years of isolation & ridicule.  apparently not so many years ago he was asked, ‘how much money do you want to bring us to parity?’

jean pierre petit replied, ‘access to an unlimited supply of scientists, mathematicians,  physicists, engineers & 30yrs.’

‘no, no,’ they said, ‘you are not hearing us, how much money do you want?’

‘no,’ jean pierre petit corrected them, ‘you do not understand…i need an infinite supply of engineers & 30yrs!’  what he didn’t bother saying b/c it was so obvious was that  it will take that long.  if they are very lucky & find such minds as Velikhov’s.

vlad was not slow to saddle, the russians were working, breathing math & precious metals,  when vlad first mentioned these weapons they were well on track, all but there, russia is now @ the stage of presenting noble prizes & medals.  the west has neither the scientists, nor the thirty years, it’s still shooting arrows while the global south is raining down shooting stars.

Ultimatum for Russia is ready. The US will lift sanctions against Russia for the sake of a peace agreement with Ukraine, – CNN The publication reports details of the plan of Keith Kellogg, whom Trump will appoint as a special envoy for the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian war. In addition to “freezing” the front line and introducing a demilitarized zone, the plan includes: If Russia agrees to negotiations, it will receive a limited easing of sanctions. A complete lifting of sanctions will take place only if a peace agreement is concluded that Kiev likes. Russian energy exports will be subject to a special fee that will pay for the restoration of Ukraine. Ukraine should not abandon the occupied territories, but undertakes to seek their return only through diplomatic means. Regarding the last point, Kellogg admits that this will only be possible after Putin is removed from power.

Orientalist Semyonov: The terrorists who captured part of Aleppo did not expect such success :

The reason for the capture of part of Aleppo by terrorists was the degradation of the Syrian political system, including the army and security structures; opponents of Bashar al-Assad also took advantage of Israeli strikes on pro-Iranian forces in the SAR and Lebanon…

Statement issued by the General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces:

      • The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces confirms that the process of confronting the terrorist attack is proceeding with full success and determination, and the counterattack will soon be moved to reclaim all areas and liberate them from the filth of terrorism.

      • The armed terrorist organizations continue to broadcast fake news through all their platforms in the context of a coordinated media war aimed at influencing the morale of our people and our valiant army. Taking advantage of the recent field events that took place in the city of Aleppo and the focus of some international and Arab media outlets on transmitting all news regardless of its accuracy, these organizations have worked to broadcast a huge amount of fake news and rumors targeting a number of Syrian cities.

      • The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces calls on our people not to pay attention to these pages or believe the news contained on their false platforms.

      • Our valiant army was and will remain a strong and steadfast presence to perform its duty in defending the homeland and citizens against all forms of terrorism and its supporters.

The city of Aleppo has not fallen. There is active fighting in the territory or the province of Aleppo.

Initial reports confirm that a Russian airstrike targeted the headquarters of the terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra, where the organization’s leader, Abu Muhammad al-Julani, and senior Ukrainian and Turkish intelligence officers were present.

And this is not bad from RT – https://www.rt.com/news/608469-assad-defeat-terrorists-syria/
      and
      https://www.rt.com/news/608454-syrian-military-response-aleppo/

In this case, the Russian media has direct information from their two bases and Russian spokespeople, so, the Russian sites quickly got their steam up.

      The Iranian Embassy was attacked.

The Russian Air Force’s intense bombing of the Idlib and Al-Bab axes has led to the killing of major terrorist ranks. There is a frustration seen in the terrorist Turkish media regarding the failure of capturing Hama routes.
      Hama City: https://t.me/VanessaBeeley/34174

The Syrian Ministry of Defense has dismissed reports circulating on platforms affiliated with armed terrorist organizations, claiming their entry into northern Hama towns like Al-Suqaylabiyah, Hayalin, Muhardah, Al-Lataminah, Halfaya, Taybat Al-Imam, Ma’an, Soran, and Maar Shahour. These reports are false.

Defense Forces Ready for Any Potential Attack

The Ministry confirmed that Syrian armed forces have organized a reinforced defensive line and are fully prepared and ready to repel any potential attack. Syrian and Russian warplanes continue to target terrorist positions.

Claims of Syrian Withdrawal Are Unfounded

A military source emphasized that the claims of Syrian forces withdrawing from Hama are unfounded. Forces are stationed in the northern and eastern parts of Hama, ready to counter any potential assault. Damascus remains secure.

False Narratives Spread by Terrorist Media

The so-called Syrian Observatory and media platforms operated by terrorist groups in Idlib are the main spreaders of these deceptive narratives.

      Hama Governor, Kamal Barmo:

      • Government institutions and public facilities are operating normally in the Hama, and food rations and fuel are available.

      • Syrian army reinforcements have arrived in Hama, and what is being circulated about the entry of vehicles belonging to the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS)” militants is fake and false news, and we call on the people of Hama not to pay attention to the rumors.

      Kevork:

🚨🇸🇾 Assad is in Damascus (not hiding in Russia)
🚨🇸🇾 The city of Hama did not fall
🚨🇸🇾 There is no coup in Damascus

There was one report (take with salt) that the assault in Syria began with exploding telephones, thus implying that the zionists were the agency and remain so. He was the most somber I’ve ever seen him. He’s correct when he talks about the price that has been paid. I never saw it until now, but yes, as he says, Russia would have had the imperialist hordes at the gates of Moscow, and China would have been fighting the US, had Greater Syria not taken all the blows of the last 20+ years, had not given up their millions of martyrs into holding back the empire.

And Russia owes, he says. China owes. I agree.

All the martyrs of Iran and Iraq, of Syria, of Yemen, of Lebanon – of Libya, of Algeria, of Egypt – all of these were martyred in defense of Palestine. It was always about Palestine.

Laith in his somber mood offers brutally true analysis here, perhaps the best I’ve ever heard.

Who is behind the new Syria war flare-up? — RT World News

Thus, it is plausible [duh!] that the current escalation in Idlib was initiated by Israel and the US, aiming to further weaken Iran and create rifts in Russia-Turkey relations. This underscores the multilayered nature of the Syrian conflict, where external actors exploit regional tensions to advance their strategic interests. The situation highlights the need for clear political positions and coordinated actions by regional powers to address Syria’s challenges and ensure stability in the region.

The tide is turning in Syria. Kevork says that Assad was in Moscow talking with Putin on last Friday and he says that it will be announced on Syrian TV verifiable.

It was hardly reported that the SAA and the Russian Airforce were turning toward counter-offense when all hell broke loose and they shot up, bombed and missiled everything that moved and looked like a Rent-a-jihadi.

Syrian Army Launches Intense Counter-Offensive with Resistance’s Support:

A very intense counter-offensive is being reported by the Syrian Army and resistance forces, supported by Russian airstrikes targeting terrorist hideouts. These strikes have reportedly resulted in the killing of a large number of terrorists.

It is now clear that several strategic retreats were made to draw terrorists into specific areas, enabling a concentrated operation aimed at eliminating both their forces and commanders.

This operation is expected to last longer and intensify further in the coming days.

      Here is a hospital:

Vanessa says: A doctor of the terrorist posted a video from the University Hospital in Aleppo City begging for help after the hospital was overwhelmed with dead and wounded HTS terrorists. https://t.me/VanessaBeeley/34183

The information is becoming to come through cleanly. See and even with a source:
“The Turkish government is determined to drag its economically deteriorating people into lost battles that it has no stake in.

Although the collapse of the Turkish currency almost led the Turkish economy to the abyss, had it not been for the rise in the value of trade with Iraq, which mitigated the impact of that and was a lifeline for the ungrateful neighbor, Erdogan is still gambling with his political future, thinking that he will thus be part of the new Middle East that his secret ally Netanyahu preached.

What everyone must understand, especially the Turkish regime and the Zionist entity, is that Syria will not be a dumping ground for your human waste again, and just as we contributed to repelling your plots against it yesterday, we are ready today with more determination and deeper faith.

Abu Alaa Al-Walaei – Commander of the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades”

There is more news. A long list of solidly verifiable discussions that Assad had with allies and what they said. Syria has support. But it was a long day and that will wait for tomorrow.

Amarynth, do take a look at that discussion between Laith Marouf and Dimitri Lascaris that Mr P posted up-thread if you can. I found it very powerful, and germane to the situation.

        ~~

I would only add that I don’t think that Hezbollah is as much in need of renewal as he suggests, and as everyone keeps saying. I think they renewed themselves on their feet, and are completely ready to fight, and very soon they will be straining at the leash to correct the incursions of Israel.

But, of course I cannot know this. I only think that, against our momentary human despair,  the reservoir of goodness is inexhaustible in this universe, for those who draw from it, and these are nothing if not the Men of God.

About the senile fella pardoning his son… Remarking that if we accept that pardon as valid, then Hunter cannot be prosecuted for his US Federal crimes during the specified period. One consequence is that he can be forced to testify about those crimes, and about his associates in conspiracy to commit them. Obviously this includes his father… Reason strongly suggests that those conspirators now have a strong motivation to hope that the son meets with a terminal misfortune.  The adult boy is not out of danger, not even close. Rather the other way. Additionally, we see that Ukraine, which is being prepared for the Peace and re-unification into Ruski mir (see RTD “A Second Chance”), may after the war elect to charge the son with a multitude of crimes… and not only Ukraine… those biolabs were, are, for example, quite plausibly involved in material violation of the Bio-weapons Laws, (international law) which are punishable by death.

Yes, it does, but at great peril. The “pardon” removed the kid’s 5th amendment protection, since he cannot be prosecuted for his crimes. This means that he can be subpoenaed  as a material witness in both civil and criminal matters relating to his co-conspirators and their offenses. He may not refuse to testify. If he does, he may be jailed for contempt of court for indefinite periods. Knowing this, his former associates would, no doubt, perfer to, ah, “silence” him permanently. The list of co-conspirators is presumed to include his father. Moreover, the “pardon” does not apply for state crime, nor for crimes and torts committed outside the US. For example, he could face charge and trial under state gun laws, dope laws, and conspiracy, as well as tort claims. Ukraine may sue him to recover stolen funds and for damages, albeit after the war is over. Something of a classical tragedy… Sic res eunt in mundo criminali medicamentorum et pecuniae et levitatis.

Special Counsel REJECTS Dismissal of Hunter Biden Case After Joe Biden’s ‘Pardon’

In a stunning legal motion, DOJ prosecutors are opposing Hunter Biden’s request to dismiss his indictment, rejecting the notion that a presidential pardon erases the charges against him.

“The defendant pled guilty to all the charges in the indictment on September 5, 2024,” Special Counsel David Weiss’s filing stated. “According to the declaration filed on his behalf, the defendant again acknowledged his guilt in accepting the act of clemency.”

Prosecutors emphasized that Hunter Biden had not formally docketed the pardon, stating:

“If media reports are accurate, the Government does not challenge that the defendant has been the recipient of an act of mercy. But that does not mean the grand jury’s decision to charge him, based on a finding of probable cause, should be wiped away as if it never occurred.”

The filing also pushed back on Hunter Biden’s claims of improper motives behind the charges, declaring:

“It also does not mean that his charges should be wiped away because the defendant falsely claimed that the charges were the result of some improper motive. No court has agreed with the defendant on these baseless claims, and his request to dismiss the indictment finds no support in the law or the practice of this district.”

The Special Counsel’s firm rejection underscores that the charges—spanning tax crimes and gun violations—are not erased by clemency. Prosecutors concluded unequivocally:

“For the foregoing reasons, the defendant’s motion to dismiss the indictment should be denied.”

Hunter Biden’s legal battles are not over yet, as prosecutors dispute the implications of his father’s constitutionally dubious pardon.

Yup, imho he’s stressed!

What seems significant is not what Tucker says, imho, but why Lavrov agreed to spend the effort and time, as well as especially what Lavrov says to his audience. Lavrov is manipulating Tucker, Tucker is a nitwit. Personable, maybe nice to meet, but hardly significant.

            Lavrov knows who Tucker is…

In his interview with Putin … iirc … Putin pointed out that Tucker’s father once worked for the CIA (once a member of the ‘firm’ … always a member)

It is likely imho that Tucker is also a member of the ‘firm’ (i.e. Anderson Cooper and quite a few others that appear on the ‘borg’ as well as several members of the US Congress…

It seems to me that it is very rare for people to abandon their class affiliations, and that Tucker is thoroughly ordinary in this and many other respects. He suffered no great trauma in youth or adulthood. Such events can sometimes result in a change of class. Maybe he’s “CIA”, and maybe not – but either way his loyalty is to his class, (and race!) and that class is substantially represented within the “deep state” and precisely in the CIA. Although Russia is no longer a fully socialist state, and the Marxist Theory seems less influential now, nevertheless Comrade Lavrov knows the Theory and the History. It’s probably impossible that he does not evaluate Tucker within this background as a Soviet man and according to a cold and highly experienced judgement.  A fellow like Tucker is an easy mark if you start with class theory.

Thinking on the United Healthcare whack of  Brian Thompson. They say the fellow who shot used a silencer on a pistol, and got away. Maybe that’s true.

At one time the forensic tool mark guys published a trade magazine, and it was available in the periodical section of the university I attended. This was about 35 years ago. Always wanting to know about cop stuff and weapons stuff, I’d read it rather (often) than do my enrolled study work. Hookey is always a fun thing.

So? Well I remember some articles about silencers. And I am experienced in machine building, machine shop work. You don’t want to get caught with a silencer in the US, and so I never made one, but I was curious about what experts had to say about them and how they’re made, what they imply, and how they change an investigation.

      Here’s what I gleaned.

The ammunition has to be, or ought to be, sub-sonic. A heavy fairly slow bullet. The gun must not, or ought not, make noise in operation, which tends to mean neither revolver not automatic, but a breech loaded single shot pistol, or a bolt action rifle. (An automatic can be modified to not cycle except by hand, resulting in a quiet gun that doesn’t leave empty cartridge cases for the cops. Preferably, imho, a custom made .22, .32 or .38. I’d vote for the .22 .  The barrel and the silencer have to register in axial alignment very closely – which means lathe work and fitting, making an alignment tool or gauge, cutting matching threads and shoulder such that the silencer can be reliably attached. The gun and the silencer become a matched pair. Silencers are not so simple themselves. They are assemblies with more threaded parts. Typically silicone rubber disks are held in place tightly, some small distances apart, by sleeves that slip into the silencer body and are compressed by a threaded cap at the exit, Aligned holes are cut in these silicone disks, but these have a diameter less than the bullet. They are damaged each time the weapon is fired, with a gradual increase in noise of operation. A stock of replacements is necessary. As the soft lead bullet passes each stage of disc the tell-tale tool marks of the gun are erased.

Taking all the foregoing  in view, my opinion of the Thompson murder is that it’s most probably a very professional job done by a well equipped professional, and not amateur vigilante violence.  It was obviously, imho, the result of a conspiracy to murder, a group project. This implies, strongly, organized crime. Some people say that at the top, government, big business, and organized crime cannot be differentiated one from the other. They are identical. As to motive, power. Possibly to silence the dead man, who we surmise may have become talkative. His personal archives may therefore be expected to disappear – I’d expect a fire might occur at his office, or “vacation home”, etc.

New claim. He used an automatic and the cops have the casings., which it is claimed have words engraved on them… supposedly “deny”, “defend”, “depose”.And they found a cell phone nearby. Looks at the moment as though it was a personal matter, driven by emotion. An amateur, it seems.  He’s going to need Perry Mason to get out of this.

Category “donmeh”. This specific term was unknown to me. There’s a wiki under the term. Evidently it has a range of meaning. As “turncoat” Erdo certainly qualifies. In the crypto-judeo sense we may examine his wife to prise out the truth, as they marry within the sect. Since clan and kinship tend to conserve and even amplify character traits we may examine his children and near relations.

She studied at the Midhat Pasha Aksham School of Art, but did not finish her studies. She participated in the work of the “Association of Idealistic Women”, during this activity she met Recep Erdogan, whom she married on July 4 1978. The couple has four children: sons Ahmet Burak and Nejmeddin Bilal and daughters Esra and Syumeyye.

On December 7 2010, Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gilani awarded Emine Erdogan the Order of Pakistan, 2nd Class (Hilal-e-Pakistan ) in recognition of her efforts to help the people of Pakistan affected by the floods. In October 2010, Emine Erdogan visited flood-affected areas of Pakistan and organized a fundraising campaign to help flood victims. [2]

On February 16 2011, Emina Erdogan was awarded the Crans Montana Forum Foundation Prize at a ceremony in Brussels.”

the history of the donmeh is one of treachery & dastardly intrigue.   ataturk has been by renegade historians thought to be donmeh.  the history, sketchy, is quite a trail of tears: jews booted out of spain.  supposedly refuted judaism, converted.  granted refuge in turkey.  reputed to have deployed considerable horrendous deceit & duplicitous treachery prior to balfour, including, overthrowing abdulazziz the second who, similar to assad, refused to grant jews ownership or a home in palestine.

personal experience: i’ve known 2 donmeh: both multi-faced intriguers, both from istanbul, both married to jews; one a male homosexual, the other a woman who translated for empire negotiating with headchoppers.  co-incidence, immaterial & irrelevant.

regardless, the donmeh history is not out of character for erdogan.  if he is, i suspect a pocket of russians may know one way or the other, given the intriguing history between russia & turkey.

if erdogan is donmeh…he may not be working to restore the ottoman empire so much as pax judaea.  the dots certainly suggest as much.   & may clarify his decisions. in light of which he may be utterly transparent & predictable.

Forwarded from Older than Edda :

“The collapse of Assad’s army in Syria is very similar to and even surpasses what we saw in Afghanistan during the Taliban offensive and the expulsion of the Americans. The army is falling apart, fleeing, abandoning everything, and in this case the most important issue is not Assad’s fate, not the various centers for coordination and reconciliation, even laying flowers at the monument and the Yunarmiya concert on another holiday are not as important as what will be left for us.

10 years of our presence, the dead Russian soldiers, billions of rubles spent and thousands of tons of ammunition, they must somehow be compensated for by something. It is clear that Assad himself did everything to bring his country to collapse, and the army to shame, but those who commanded and command in this direction from us must understand the responsibility for what I listed above.

Syria, which during the SMO became a quiet haven and a place where it was possible, among other things, to hide military leaders who were not coping with their duties, went and struck according to all the rules of war. It struck where it was thin, and thin can only be if your enemy is preparing for war, and you are not only not preparing, you do not even want to think about it.

The beginning of the SMO, or rather our failures, they are largely connected with the “Syrian experience”. BTGs, driving in columns, standing in columns and much more, this is precisely the Syrian experience, but unlike Syria, a real enemy does not forgive such things. We had to reconsider our tactics and strategy, many opposed this, cursing the current situation and these damned bloggers who decided to teach generals from their couches and be surprised by the actions of the deputies of the former Minister of Defense (now it is the “Lefortovo” battalion). So, continuing the topic. Syria has become a safe haven, without war, without bloggers, with a military cargo cult and all its attributes. Plus, our group in Syria has become quite small in number, but still led by generals.

Now the only thing that can really not only brighten up the current picture, but even to some extent give us the opportunity to compensate for the current failure and the money spent, is our holding the province of Latakia and Tartus. Holding, with full actual power of our military and special agencies, without various mukhabarats, as well as other Syrian sigurants and bureaucracy. Mobilization of those, primarily Alawites, who can really participate in the battles to defend Latakia and not run away at the sight of militants.

The Latakia People’s Republic and the free port of Tartus are now the only thing that can both save the remains of Syria and (and this is actually the most important thing) protect our interests. Unfortunately, it was necessary to think and prepare for such a development of events earlier, and if there were no such plans, then it may already be too late.

Be that as it may, we have our own main front, and the situation with the SAA once again clearly shows where and to what “peacekeeping” without the final defeat of the enemy leads.”

The ground that has sprouted the present war was to a significant extent prepared by men like Dean Acheson. He himself goes into some detail about the NATO treaty and especially Art 5, which, iirc, was put fifth for rhetorical purpose, bluntly, to deceive the casual eye – Art 5 is the heart of the treaty.
