A few snippets from China: The new Dalai Lama in waiting is a Tibetan kid from Minnesota

The Dalai Lama seems to be getting to the end of his life.ย  The US appointed one already:

With the incredible week behind us (I hope so!) we did not pay much attention to China. So, what did China do while Russia shot off novel missiles and the world turned faster?

The answer is so simple. China traded. Xi Jinping left Brazil yesterday after his trip first to open the Chancay port, then APEC, then the G20 and then a state visit to Brazil. https://www.fmprc.gov.cn/mfa_eng/xw/zyxw/202411/t20241122_11531434.html

He signed dozens of new trade agreements, upped the relationships with both Brazil and Peru and did not cease his messaging: A Mankind with a Shared Future. This is not only a slogan, it is being carried out by China and their top level governance day by day. In addition, he was at war againsts fakes. Fake statistics, fake messaging, fake relationships, fake statistics. The Chinese patience has run out on that vector.

The Brazilian state visit ended as such: President Xi Jinpingโ€™s visit will further consolidate political mutual trust, improve the strategic significance, innovative nature and leading role of the bilateral relations, enhance synergy between the two countriesโ€™ development strategies, deepen strategic communication and coordination on global hotspot issues, and jointly open up the next golden 50 years of China-Brazil relations.โ€‚

The rest of China? They traded. I took a quick look at the Chinese media in English today and all I see is trade, culture, and modernization, whether it is in medicine, or in farming, or in space exploration. Take a quick look only at the headlines and you will see exacly what I mean:

Comment from a Brazilian Scholar: China arrives with proposals, delivering tangible projects that showcase the benefits of cooperation. We have benefited for a long time as the country that most received Foreign Direct Investment from China in Latin America. This demonstrates concrete action, not empty rhetoric, creating mutual benefits – a win-win situation for both parties involved.

Xi Jingping arrived as a lover, and he left as a dedicated partner with a Shared Future in life.

See how far the Shared Future Concept has travelled:

But hey, we have a young Dalai Lama in waiting from Minesota, that does not understand Buddism and only loves football and rap. The See Eye Ai must be thrilled to have found their next conquest that will share their future.

i couldn’t wrap my head around why the chinese had chosen the northern route for the nica canal. it’s a lot further & involves a lot more work, & completely alters two major cities, yes, they’ll be a lot richer but will cause much upheaval, plus it’s further away from… Read more »
