🇮🇱zionist crybullies don’t like the taste of their own medicine

After showing up (https://www.middleeasteye.net/opinion/israel-football-hooligans-bring-culture-genocide-amsterdam) in the Netherlands spoiling for a fight, the far-right ultras of Maccabi Jerusalem F.C. got a taste of their own medicine.

Once the local fans in Amsterdam sent them running, the usual suspects came out to play the Holocaust card.

Let’s look at the context:

What the media “conveniently” glosses over, however, is the LONG history of far-right sympathies and violence among Maccabi Tel Aviv fans. During the protests against the Netanyahu regime’s corruption and judicial overreach starting in 2021, it was Maccabi Tel Aviv fans who showed up for Bibi. They attacked protesters in the streets with clubs and broken bottles (https://www.dw.com/en/violent-protests-in-israel-when-far-right-football-fans-take-to-the-streets/a-54463825) as police looked on and did nothing. They have long been considered one of the most racist and violent (https://web.archive.org/web/20221024122503/https://www.haaretz.com/2003-06-11/ty-article/betar-maccabi-ta-and-haifa-fans-are-most-racist/0000017f-f3f5-d497-a1ff-f3f5ae2a0000) fanbases not just in Occupied Palestine, but in all of soccer. Their racism is so severe that even their own players find themselves the targets of racial abuse.

Palestinian midfielder Maharan Radi was targeted with chants of “F*CK THE ARABS (https://www.ibtimes.co.uk/israeli-football-fans-shout-f-arabs-palestinian-player-maccabi-tel-aviv-1459605)” and spit on by fans. When the team tried to “talk it out” and hold a meeting with the heads of the ultra group, they failed, concluding that they simply hate Arabs. Black players are routinely pelted by bananas and racial slurs (https://www.972mag.com/when-an-israeli-soccer-game-looks-like-a-klan-rally/). The problem is so bad that Zionist newspaper 972 describes a Maccabi game as looking like a Klan rally.

I’ve never seen such racism in my whole life. … [two other black Hapoel players] and I were the last ones on the field. When we came out of the tunnel they started throwing bananas at us. We heard curses and racist chants. … [During the game] I heard their regular song, ‘Give Toto a banana,’ and a lot of other things I’m embarrassed to mention.-“Israeli” born forward Toto Tamuz

Of course, inside the apartheid state there are no consequences for the “chosen people” and so this sort of racial abuse and violence has become normal. No action is taken by local soccer authorities or police to combat, condemn or even contain this violent racism. It is that culture of impunity that let these thugs travel to another country thinking they could do whatever they wanted. They came to the Netherlands looking for a fight. They got one, and they lost.

Comparing them to the innocent people slaughtered by fascists who’s ideology is virtually identical to these hooligans is spitting on the memory of the millions who suffered at the hands of European fascists. Ironically, the fascists who slaughtered Jews in the streets had an ideology almost identical to the fascists who marched through the streets chanting “KILL THE ARABS” and “TURN GAZA INTO HIROSHIMA”. The only difference is who they think the “chosen people” are.

Now the callous opportunists in the media are going to milk this for everything they can, trying to portray the racist thugs as victims of anti-semitic violence.
