Chains of Faith: How Zionism Infiltrated Christianity
Christianity, the faith of love, forgiveness, and sacrifice. But somewhere along the way, a new doctrine crept in, cloaked in the words of the prophets but laced with the rhetoric of empire. And the tool of choice? The Scofield Bible, that masterstroke of ideological alchemy, which transformed a message of peace into an apparatus for political loyalty. Zionism didn’t just infiltrate Christianity, it put it in chains, shackling the faithful to a foreign ideology that bends the very words of Christ to serve geopolitical goals of Zionism et. Israel.
Look closer. In the early 20th century, Cyrus Scofield, an obscure figure backed by the wealth of pro-Zionist financiers, rewrote the Bible’s annotations, injecting a narrative of “Christian Zionism” that never existed in early Christianity. What did this new doctrine teach? That modern Israel is a fulfillment of prophecy, that Christians must blindly support it, and that any dissent is heresy. The message was simple: loyalty to Israel is loyalty to God. And it worked.
Fast-forward to today, and the irony is suffocating. Churches once preaching “turn the other cheek” now endorse policies that bulldoze homes, give impunity for war crimes, silence the oppressed, and fund endless militarism and all in the name of “biblical duty.” What would Christ say to these temples now laden with flags of a foreign state, worshipping at the altar of power rather than the cross? The very essence of the faith has been subverted, as pulpits echo with calls for unholy alliances and unquestioning loyalty to a pseudo nation-state (Israel) rather than the Kingdom of Heaven.
The evangelical empire stretches far, its reach fueled by billions in media, political influence, and a carefully curated narrative. Zionism turned Christianity into its greatest geopolitical asset- a faith hijacked, retooled, and weaponized to serve the goals of Zionism. A congregation of believers has become a battalion of foot soldiers, marching to the drumbeat of policies that bear no resemblance to Christ’s teachings. From the Middle East to the Bible Belt, the “chains of faith” are firmly in place.
But as the multipolar world rises and alliances shift, one wonders, will these shackles ever be broken? Or has Zionism’s grip over Western Christianity become so ingrained, so meticulously woven into the fabric of American religiosity, that these chains will only tighten with time?
Much more than a theological hijacking; it’s a geopolitical strategy that has turned faith into a weapon. And the faithful? Just pawns in the grand narrative, puppets in a game where loyalty is demanded and questioning is forbidden. The “eye of the storm” isn’t because of a boogeyman named Hezbollah or Iran, it’s in the pews ,a faith reshaped, a people manipulated, and an ancient message of love weaponized.

Good description of the recent Christian subversion, anyone care to comment on the Crusades and the ensuing centuries of Missionary Colonialism? I’d say the co-option by state happened quite some time ago and every day Christians who stay at home, love their neighbours and don’t cause trouble are oblivious. Probably… Read more »
