ParticipantI am new here, so what can a baby say about these important issues? Well, I did look around a bit. I reached the very first post on Feb 6 2023, where it was said: “welcome to poets, ranters, drive-by posters, musicians, bible-thumpers, Larch, historians, astrologers, madmen, recipe makers, and whoever escaped me.” (SO I AM IN THAT GROUP!)
Basic rationality does not require a PhD specialty, nor tons of research and facts. If you look at a big enough picture to see most of the assumptions, the trajectory becomes more than evident. That does not mean you can reverse it, or know some solution. Generally, a wider context shows more options, but they still need to be implemented and tested.
Simple Rationality is a good way to address things, because nobody is left out for the lack of expertise. Everybody can follow the simple trajectories. Other discussion techniques are to add more complexity, more details, and more expertise. Very tiring, and they don’t get anywhere either. They just try to shut you up, with their steam roller technique. (Yeah, there can be details.)
We spend our time on what we define as giving the most payback. Many thousands of people look at current events, each from their own viewpoint.
Much of this site seems to be an aggregator of events, maybe looking behind the standard narratives. There are all kinds of angles behind there. I don’t think we aggregate many first person accounts. If we did, we wouldn’t believe them, as too invested in their own perspective. So we are aggregators of the aggregators, or those who claim expertise. Yes they too have a viewpoint. A lot of it we deem ugly. What we realize is that life is only a commodity, and that wholesale killing is one way to distribute and use-up that commodity. Many heartily reject that observation, but it is in-our-face, nevertheless.
Depending on your intensity, you may be making a chronicle of atrocities. That stems from a belief in a payback from these chronicles. WHAT IS THAT PAYBACK? OK, now I know about some of these unacceptable, and on up to atrocities. What am I going to do about it? What is your payback from telling me?
Yes, I believe in being informed, but if I already know it 10 times, need I know it 100 times?
WHAT IS IN YOUR FACE; IS THE HIDDEN PERSCRIPTION OF CIVILIZATION, AS WE KNOW IT. But now it has slipped out, and is no longer hidden. I have called it the Euro-Centric view. Yet many in denial avert their gaze from the obvious. What proxy wars tell us is not about the combatants, who accepted the money. It is about the sponsors, who are responsible for, and justify every atrocity. What do the populations of these sponsors have to say about it. Very subdued if audible at all. No peace movements. Of course, here we are on globalsouth.co. What is our payback, and is there another way?
Am I allowed to discuss this without having any alternative?
One angle is to purify our language. If 99 Jewish people are up to some scheme and one Jewish person is not involved, it is not THE JEWS who are doing this. Collective nouns skip over the possible solutions, whether it is “the Muslims”, or “the Christians” or “the Jews”, (or everybody else).
Why do we give notoriety to 100 rabid jackals, but not even to ONE rational voice? For instance, Shlomo Sand is an Israeli emeritus professor of history at the Tel Aviv University, I think for 40 years. His books all deny the Zionist narrative. I think he is still active, and teaching. Who are his Israeli students? Why don’t we give voice to alternative views like his? Couldn’t changes be energized from the inside?

As far as zionism is concerned the philosophy is the same as nazism. You will find the same search for lebensraum and the same belief that everyone else is Amalek, i.e., animals or less worthy – like a blond and blue-eyed nation.
We are chronicling the epic change of civilization, from having a hegemonic power for many years, to have a world system that is truthfully multilateral and not a war-making horde.
But let me answer the zionism question, or the jew question. If you look at who votes for what in Israel and some of the jewish diaspora, 94% vote zionist, i.e., nazism, i.e., fascist. That is not good for humankind. So essentially we are fighting for an opportunity for humankind to do what is good. So, the 6% that does not vote zionist is mixed between rabbinical insanity and they have some insane laws, clearly that a goy may be killed because a goy is lesser than they are, I won’t even start with the sexual practices, and a tiny percentage of real people. We know their names, for example Prof Norman Finkelstein, and the jazz musician Gilad Atzmon.

I listened to Jewish women as women would do, talk about sexual practices and received a kinda open status in the community where nobody was hesitant to tell me real stories because of the status.
Feel free to talk for a small number of less than 6% of the jews. They are generally in diaspora (religious reasons) and there are sick practices in many of their enclaves. And then a few very good people exist.
One of us here took instruction from a Jewish Rabbi.
Jew is not an insulting word. Would Zimbabwean be an insulting word? Would Russian be an insulting word?

Something for all. OK, we hear the Russian pundits (basically everyone out there) saying that Iran had Russian weapons or defensive systems and that Russia helped Iran.
Why can we not be happy for Iran’s performance? Why do we have to grab it for Russia? Or for China for that matter. Iranians are not fools and they’ve planned for these days for a long time. Even the DPRK has missiles and defense systems. In addition, there is no real proof that “Russia gave Iran missile defenses. There was press that Iran bought S300s, but just as much press saying the deal had fallen apart. So, the interception rate is overstated because the laser defense weapons are made for “low, slow, and small” aerial threats, or at least the ones that I was able to read about – who knows, perhaps they have more. It is not a missile killer but it is a drone killer and low flying airplane killer. (So those Israeli jets flew low but in my understanding, did not cross the border.)
I have another thesis. All the pundits (USA based or influenced) are so scared that Russia will let fly a missile in the US direction, that they forget China can do that too.

And I’m curious about what the majority of visitors to this website think about this. A poll might help. The phrase “Seek Truth from Facts” was introduced to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) as a hallmark slogan of Mao Zedong.
One forms your thoughts on geopolitics and international relations on your information and your full and complete grasp of most everything around that. Example, major speeches of world leaders I like to post the whole speech, and not the meta data, i.e., what someone says about it .. Meta data is dangerous, because we miss the woods for the trees.
And I like to honor our fellow truth seekers and to honor them, their information must be of high value and correct, in as much as we can be, so that I can quote them with confidence, even if I have not read their stuff. There are only two that I can quote, without even reading. All of the other pundits I must read or listen to carefully.
Things happen if we seek truth from facts. I have this story about Michael Hudson who at one time changed my complete view on economic geopolitics with a 3-word sentence. I stood on my head after that sentence and all I could stammer was Yeah, of course!
Then Iran specifically needs to get a pat on the back now. They’ve been crawling through hell and stood fast all these years. Stolen valor now is not a good thing. Now specifically … because we are in a world of lies and hasbara and false projections. And now specifically, because we cannot be alone and we need to trust our fellows.

Yes. Good slogan. Even written documents are often replied to with non sequitur, such is the power of the minds of delusional and sloppy readers. Learning to ask oneself “what does this mean, this word, that phrase, what does it imply about the author? – these are important, but often the document in question is poorly written. Alas! Recalling the children’s game of sitting in a circle and whispering in sequence one to another an initial statement, by the time it gets ’round it’s changed, often with an entirely different meaning… Recalling that illustration, and remembering that any statement one makes to, for example, the cops, get’s noted down according to their pre-conceived ideas since there is no stenographer… things such as “I did not do it and I know nothing about it” get’s noted as “Subject is uncooperative and hostile”. I remember one night at gunpoint when two cops were screaming at me “How many people are there?”…“how should I know, but there are at least three” was my reply 😉 “Where are they?” they screamed more…“Well”, I replied, “there’s you and your cop girlfriend and there’s me, but it’s dark, maybe your cop pals are in the dark and I can’t see ’em to count…is this trick question, please put the guns away, your girlfriend is nervous and waving that gun around”. Recalling that process, of course, it’s often best to say nothing, if possible. Paralleling that, I applaud reading the original, and, as you say, not what somebody else says the speaker said.

The South Africans were quite proud of it .. they said: We Took Him Out! At least to me in later years when I asked the grands to explain this to me. I took it to be big talk from soldiers or mercenaries. One grandfather fought for the allies and another fought for the Germans so my education on these things came from two perspectives and both sides repeated that story.
I checked the UN Library but cannot find the report. It was given to the assembly they say, so it should get to the Library.
And where that plane fell — there was nothing there. Bush, thick African bush, perhaps a farm or two, perhaps a farm dirt airstrip for small planes. The guys back from the war flew small planes to service farms and surely they did other dirty business. How they could let Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) investigate a plane crash goes over my head.
I think they take the file out now and again – kinda like an open case.
Funny, there was a time that we could sass the cops. They continually raided our house for ‘unwanted literature’ as everything was banned in my world. Sometimes the excuse was that they are checking if we were sheltering dissidents to which I replied yes .. I am a dissident and we’re sheltering me in this house. Small community and the one cop’s family were neighbors. That young one I just threatened that I’ll tell his mother. It was surreal – he was in my swim class, a little round lazy pudgy, and now he is raiding my house? But we knew when they were coming as the clicks from the phone intercept became more than usual and they followed me to and from work more frequently as their investigation took shape. Usually we also got a warning of a raid. They also knew they would not find anything, so it was simply intimidation. Our cops did not have much education and I’m afraid I was not very nice to them and mocked them. Mao’s Little Red Book had a new cover .. Little Red Riding Hood. Wild times, those years through the last gasps of apartheid and colonialism. Only to be replaced by a vicious neo-colonialism.

Alas, I seem to have lost it, failed to jot down the source. The recollection is quite clear, just not saved or sourced for sure.

I expect good news. Georgia is in the Qur’an. A special people. Native soil of the man who dictated in Order No. 227, “…not one step back!”
And they recently made significant amends with Russia – passing laws against NGOs, and apologizing for starting the 2008 debacle against Abkhazia and South Ossetia and Russian peacekeepers on behalf of madmen working for NATO.
One of the two direct land routes from Russia to Iran / Constantinople / the Holy Land lies via their southern neighbor Georgia. I expect a similar surprise for the West will be delivered to them as in Kazakhstan the month before the beginning of the SMO.

Maybe it’s just my native pessimism, maybe it’s cynical understanding of “machines”, which have a death wish… (I’ve written about the machine death wish before, you’ll remember)… But if we play with the idea that this our global history is a machine with contradictory elements (and spooky actions now and then) and posit that the worn out elements are to be disposed of by our Father the Celestial Presence (so to say) then the Atlantic wall is just imho imaginary… Personally I expect the Civilizational Peoples will cut the nazi machine into useful scrap, and melt down the rest as needed. The Court has no standing, it’s not mentioned. It’s done by the College and the Senate. Period. Since then, they say that standards have fallen. I can’t imagine them being any lower though… 😉

I will vote. As a smart lawyer once told me, local elections can matter, bond issues, who gets to be sheriff, against the worst incumbents, and so forth. Moreover, the polling place is at a charming country church, built a 100 years ago from river stones by the congregation themselves. The people there are my neighbors, and I enjoy seeing them. As to the “presidential” affair, well, I will not vote for an incompetent cut-throat puppet whore. I may leave Orange man’s slot blank, maybe toss a coin… It’s mostly a social occasion. There’s never a line. That said, I have zero confidence in the machines. Well, I am sure they’re easy to rig. And would point out that the given reason for electronic voting was that results would be both prompt and accurate…these conditions are not satisfied. Now it takes weeks to “count the votes”, paper would be better, but harder to rig. At one time in zone Anoxia, the men met at the Courthouse, armed, naturally, and voted by show of hands. That would be my preference! Impossible to rig! Being a Quaker, I like to see the ladies vote too, the same way, armed at the Courthouse by show of hands, but note that it takes a foolish husband to argue with his wife… ;)… so it’d be redundant.

My remark 45726 above, the AM Radio propaganda, aligns with the story Wilkerson tells…somebody’s inverting the truth about “Israel” and 404. And that somebody is bullchitting the Whitehouse, not just the deplorables…this raises the thought that the somebody wants to get the US into a situation of utter defeat ,wherein the only two choices would be utter defeat or the US using nuclear weapons. Brother AHH’s opinion that the Sages’ eschatology predicts a nuclear war, iiuc, seems to be developing. Meantime, billboard Tehran zone says “Tel-o-shima” with image of a charmin atomic explosion…so maybe our Iranian Brothers calculate beat-em to da punch and go ahead with an emergency bomb program…which I’d guess will take 10 days, if they’ve been doin’ what I’d a done…thus fubar the plan of “somebody”.
