Scientists from the Russian Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, the Chinese Arctic and Antarctic Administration, and the Chinese Polar Research Institute held a business meeting on the Svalbard Archipelago and agreed to start preparing joint research projects in the Arctic.
The first consultation meetings will begin this fall.

During the meeting, the scientists exchanged mutual invitations. Chinese colleagues were invited to join the work of the Russian Arctic Research Expedition on the Svalbard Archipelago and the North Pole drifting expeditions, which are based on the ice-resistant platform of the same name.

Russian scientists were invited to participate in an expedition on the Chinese icebreaker Snow Dragon 2.

By the way, this Chinese icebreaker, supposedly fishing for science, as of the day before yesterday was in the Arctic Ocean at 85 degrees North latitude north of the Severnaya Zemlya archipelago.

It is not out of a good life that Russia allows China to enter the Arctic.

Thanks! I read the paper. The several examples are true. And there are many more left untold. If so, we would expect such a characteristic to be the outcome of the history, accidents of breeding, deliberate breeding, and of geography, not the culture alone. We see this in animals. And in all peoples to some degree. The moral currents of “the West” include anti-racist tendencies as well as the vicious one. The rulers despise this “treason” among their white “deplorables”, which exposes their corrupt and ultimately suicidal character. This is to say that the West is not a single vicious dog, but is in need of some remedial genetic influences. Considering that we humans are now arrived at the war for the world, or so it seems sure, such remediation may also have come to our horizon. Very often vicious dogs get eaten, or drowned. Like rats.

It may be, for example, that the West, seeing itself “white” and also, for example, the Russians as “white” but with “deplorable” characteristics, eg a lack of racism, thus as “traitors to the white race”, so to say. I did not mean for it to sting AHH.  I just talked factually.  We all read his blog, and that is a fact.  In reality, I worked with his blog and his information for a very long time at the Saker site.  And even then there is stuff that I will not say.  I am not interested in stinging him and if I was, I promise you I can do much better than that poor sentence.  Why I do not even have to go into the past.  The criticism today is a notch or ten above stinging.

And it will be, actually is, just another trivial episode. The “ap” and the man are distinct; ought not to be conflated. Also baldly, the seemingly endless crimes are also distraction from the heart of the war. I suspect, but it’s tentative, not opinion, that this heart of the war lies in a complex of genetics, cultural history, and geography. I suspect that apocalypse will involve the genetic (physical) destruction of the aggressor. It’s a very big, very long, war. It can be lost, but I hope and expect not.

Goodness, you’ve all lost me.   Was there an ‘apology’ or just further explanation and exposition of views?  Apologies are not necessary to me and if there is something sharp, forgiveness is baked in the cake already.

The story told in this book is the story of the British empire, which by 1900,

AfD loses blocking minority in Saxony – election officer corrects election result
In Saxony, the AfD had so many votes that it could have blocked certain laws in the state parliament. But the blocking minority has now been overturned again – according to the election officer, the seats were calculated incorrectly.

For some processes in parliament, a simple majority is not enough – instead, two thirds of the votes of all MPs are required. If a party has more than a third of the votes, it can stop certain processes. However, after the state elections, the AfD no longer has this power in Saxony. The state election authority announced this on Monday.

Due to a software error, an incorrect seat allocation was published on election night according to the preliminary result, according to a statement. Based on the votes won, the Greens and the SPD now each receive one seat more, and the CDU and AfD each receive one seat less than stated. The AfD thus slips from 41 to 40 seats. Only with 41 seats would they have received the blocking minority.

The state election management was made aware of the calculation error by several parties and experts from Wahlrecht.de. According to them, an incorrect seat allocation procedure was used.

With the blocking minority, certain state laws, which have to be decided by a two-thirds majority of all MPs, could not have been passed without the AfD parliamentarians.

Strange Noises from Stuck Boeing Starliner on ISS Linked to Acoustic Feedback

A Boeing Starliner spacecraft, which has been stranded on the International Space Station (ISS) since early June, began emitting unusual sounds. American astronauts reported these noises, suspecting they might be caused by connection issues between the spacecraft and the station. Originally scheduled for a one-week stay, the Starliner encountered engine malfunctions, leading to a planned return operation on September 6, during which the spacecraft will return to Earth without a crew.

NASA representative Warner clarified that the strange noises were due to acoustic feedback from the spacecraft’s speaker. She confirmed that the sound has since ceased and explained that the ISS’s complex audio system, which manages communication between various spacecraft and modules, can occasionally transmit extraneous noises.
