The resistance factions emphasized the necessity of a ceasefire and all acts of zionist aggression permanently, and the withdrawal of occupation forces from the Gaza Strip as a condition before proceeding with a prisoner exchange process based on the principle of “all-for-all.”

The attendees agreed to develop and strengthen the Palestinian political system on democratic foundations through general elections (presidential, legislative council, and national council), according to a full proportional representation system in free, fair, and transparent elections with the participation of all, to rebuild internal relations on the foundations and principles of national coalition and partnership.

Finally, the participants extended greetings of admiration to the martyrs of our people in the occupied lands, especially to our people in the Gaza Strip, and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.

This comes days after the President of Djibouti mediated an attempted reconciliation between the governments of Somaliland and Somalia in Mogadishu.
