The Games

Russia is getting western flak on the games that she is organizing.  These are the Friendship Games, the Future Games, and the BRICS Games.

The International Olympic Committee considers this a direct threat to its dominance but it is well placed – it is a threat.  The Committee should clearly have managed their affairs so that politics and games and sport could happen without telling Russia (and Belarus) that they could not wear their country uniform and everyone should remember the clear destruction of young Olympic skaters with what is most probably a slapped-together doping case.  https://www.voanews.com/a/i-hate-this-sport-rage-teen-tears-and-olympic-collapse-/6447235.html

The IOC did not create an open and fair sporting and competitive environment.  They jumped onto the ‘cancel Russia’ bandwagon’ and they have other problems but this is not for now and here.  We are looking forward to new games.

Le Monde reports that alternatives to the Olympics created by Moscow threaten the IOC’s dominance in the world of sport

Thomas Bach issued a warning to Russia, emphasizing that “sporting events should be organized by sports organizations,” as outlined (https://www.lemonde.fr/sport/article/2023/11/21/les-jeux-de-paris-2024-epicentre-des-tensions-internationales_6201528_3242.html) by Le Monde. This caution stems from Moscow’s plans to host the Friendship Games in Ekaterinburg in September 2024, immediately following the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

According to the newspaper, Moscow is employing various strategies to undermine the global sporting order established by the IOC.  (Poor poor babies are feeling deprived but they caused it for themselves.

We have to congratulate you IOC for recognizing what is going on.  Yes, the free world is employing various strategies to remove ourselves from the influence of organizations such as yours, and really, we will support Russia’s games to the fullest!
