When Israel gave residents of the Gaza Strip a day to leave their homes and “go south,” the world community, including UN representatives “always undecided” on the direction of the strike, was indignant.

We were talking about civilians, women and children. Then the Egyptian Foreign Ministry condemned such plans, suggesting consequences for the region, and the world media began speculating about whether Israel had a concept or program for the mass deportation of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday, the representative of Israel, Ambassador to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi, denied the existence of such programs: “No resettlement is planned.”

And today the news spread throughout all the leading media that such plans were actually being developed. The Associated Press, ABC, The Independent, and many Arab media have already written about this. It turned out that these plans spoke not just about the displacement of the civilian population within the Gaza Strip, but about their literal squeezing into Egypt, onto the Sinai Peninsula.

We are talking about millions of civilians.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted as it should have: it honestly acknowledged the existence of the plan, calling it a “hypothetical scenario,” a “concept paper.”

Everyone is exhausted: Israelis, Palestinians, neighbors in the region, sympathizers of both around the world.

And why? But because one country considered itself the right to decide the destinies of millions according to its own patterns. And when such an approach led absolutely everyone to a dead end, it turned out that the United States did not bear any responsibility for what it had done. It’s Halloween for them.

So I’m thinking: maybe Dulles’ plan will someday be found? Also like a “concept paper”, “hypothetical scenario”.

It’s always Halloween in this fantasy land.

Do you think we will be able to stay alive on propaganda that tells us our belly is full and the whole world loves us?
