Thank you, AHH, for this sagacious image.

Ah, Masha and the Bear, favorite of several of my kids

Sorry to cause discomfort Mr P! Was not my intent at all. I hadn’t even considered AI could have created it. Undoubtedly there were many similar [indoor] bookshelves throughout human history, well before AI or computers… that was what triggered my memories and led to the posting of the calming tableau.. Some of most wealthy humans in history were arabs and Mediterranean people (like today) who were deeply insecure and obsessed over water (being hostages to an arid existence)… and so combining indoor pools and libraries came second nature to them.

A Yemeni told me the story in the Qur’an of the Prophet-King Solomon, whose palaces amazed mankind. The Queen of Sheba (also from Yemen), another Superpower of her day, when visiting his palace lifted the hem of her dress, thinking the glass floor under which flowed rivers (iirc) would ruin the dress. When it was explained to her the nature of the floor, this amazement led her to accept the Faith, and turn away from prior sun-worship… He had many technologies unknown to others of his day. And so the adoption of indoor pools, fountains, aquaria, waterfalls, etc… with many non-desert people who sought solace and meditation by still or gently rolling waters… do you understand?? This was point. I avoid AI.. water is source of our life, and in it is healing and inspiration of body and mind and spirit.

Yeah English Law begins to eat itself. Fitting, no? Such games of cynicism can only play so long. The chickens came home to roost. As Pirates are beaten back on every flank and front, they will increasingly use all the tools acquired by their accursed three letter agencies and the little Gene Sharps to cannibalize each other. A hammer only knows how to slam in nails. All the malignant energy and ill-will formerly spent on Others abroad will marinate their own…

I haven’t watched Mercouris since I returned from Yemen about seven months ago… I got into the habit of downloading his videos into mp3. I did it in Yemen to save on download bandwidth in low-tech scene. I do it now as he never posts images so I can listen to him and pause and resume as needed, while I push strollers or on sundry tasks or relax in bed.. Is he psychologically going to hell?! His voice sounds like crap recently. I assumed a simple cold.. maybe a sign of cratering immunity levels due to stress and the now-evident slow-mo train crash?? He does sounded jaded too. He kept the blinkers on for too long!

In many regards he lives in La-La Land… Younger Alex, having lived in the US and thoroughly familiar with the sordidness is in many regards more mature about the denouement in motion. Being a highly learned Oracle in Ivory Towers may confer wide scope and understanding of History, but does leave one stranded and behind the ball on situational events. Especially considering one’s lot as a passenger on the Titanic half-way down Mariana Trench!

➡️ Oops! Sorry Sudhi, was meant for Mr P… Yes, I loved that image too. Sometimes AI can create something positive we yearn for – a pleasant vista or image that drifts just beyond grasp…

Recalling magna carta while witnessing the tragic visage of the Elder Alex, and remembering how things dissolve….episode 1623. Recalling a retired judge of 83, who said, in 1999, that the profession of Law was a waste of time. Children’s books and poems would have been a much better endeavor. Withal, free speech protected by the English Constitution no longer extends to members of Parliament. Noting that action without accurate perception produces conflict events, and suppression of speech in Parliament makes this lack of accuracy in perception even worse. Alex is shocked, evidently. Sadly, I am not shocked. I may be shocked by the conflict event that is now sure as sunrise. Alex kept his faith in Law longer than I did, I think, or maybe closer to his heart. Of course he’s younger, and in another place. Rumschpringe lessons may have been minimal in his life, but the job they did on him ought to have made things clear enough. He seems to be in process of shock…speaking of process>

The AI bookdam is disquieting…seeing it as a dynamic one shot machine….dynamic or “drynamic”? Yes, tensile strength of paper as the books become saturated is changing…and where is the readerman?  Scene awaits change of scene, is snapshot in time, like strobe freezes motion.

In the book/water image, my disquiet is in accord with artistic purpose or function…elicits emotion and thought. It’s good art, I think. I note the radio in image is quite similar to the radio prop used in RT docu with Anna Chapman.

Alex elder apologizes that he is afflicted with seasonal allergies, hay fever. Chlorpheniramine maleate would be my choice, if it is as he says. Nevertheless he’s clearly under emotional strain, and then too, finances can be troublesome, and he’s 2 young children, and a dog. (all the guy needs now is divorce and a boat!)

The cute little warning from our coke-head leader dude is a tell, I agree. In zugswang mad loser kick over table and run away.

In 1945 use there was an ineffective pressure from the boffins to stage the first public tests as an international observer-event, in an uninhabited and fairly safe place, with invitations to all the States. Instead, of course, T2 1nd T3 were on civilian cities. However, the idea of an air-burst demonstration might be worth revisiting, since the Great Fine Fellas have forgotten fear. It’s really stupid to start “machines” that can’t be stopped. If they haven’t yet, they’re very close.

Apricot!  Oh My!  Where we are we do not have them, and imported is never right.

I grew up on those fruits that are both tart and sweet.  Shelves full of bottles of apricot jam, dried apricots (outside air), dried apricots in a chicken stew, apricot tarts, crumbles, tartlets and cookies, apricot chutney, and handfuls of fresh picked.   Dried apricot seeds – a little bitter, but usually good.  It was fun to hammer with a hammer and collect the seed!  Perfect job for a few kids.

OK, we lived on farms, and this is what we did .. a fat slice of fresh homemade bread, a big spoon of clotted cream on the bread, another spoon of apricot jam in the middle .. eat with knife and fork.

Alas, we had a spring snow that stayed 3 days, after the trees had already begun to blossom, yet some fruit came anyway, and each tree varies.

Mother’s girlhood friends married farmers, and we visited in summer – and of course I went to work doing farm chores… Later I worked for custom cutters.

Corn is near 18 inches. Fat berries, black n blue sorts and yummy. We’re moving the hens from one tiny “pasture” to another, and they do fine job of weeding and bugging.

      …….

It’s pointless to mention statute laws, but providing heroin and, I believe, cocaine from an adult to a minor female was a capital offense. So?

Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin reminds me of the historical episode when “ataman of the Free Cossacks,” Nikolai Ashinov tried to ‘conquer’ Africa” :

I held my nose and peeked into the BBC…
Their measured tone is surprising. No celebrations or incitement. They matter of factly report a mutinous situation being dealt with.

This is such a bizarre situation.

If he was an agent for West, wittingly anyhow, there would be coordinated media campaigns, at least by the rabid UK press….
What BBC noted, besides usual precautions of tightened security throughout Russia: the internet was restricted.

As crazy as it sounds, i am still not convinced this is not possibly a Russian PsyOps…

      • A “Coup attempt” is launched at least successful opportunity — when UkroNATO is on the ropes, counteroffensive floundering, and patriotism and pleasure at MoD performance is highest
      • It happens to make the crazies pause from dastardly nuclear provocations AND in wild hope launch more Ukie brigades into the Grinder
      • Internet and informational hygiene is given excuse to be tightened just before expected major western attack
      • Again, like “withdrawals” from Kherson and Kharkov last year, it makes Russia look weaker than it is, and paradoxically gains Global South sympathy for their horse who appears to be faltering

Possible? Crazier stunts have been performed for less existential times and occasions.. Mr. S in his update linked to by Pepe notes interesting point: the Russian MoD videos calling for calm and noncompliance with the Chef were prerecorded… yes, not proof of staging, and likely a prudent preparation given profiling and usual Rooskie planning for contingencies. Everything has such surreal aspect. Emerson! Your take? What’s Canadian media saying

Certainly a dance is underway, and regardless of spontaneity it does serve to put the crazed Enemy on the infowar backfoot, all the while their proxy is being thoroughly finished off in the gray zone….

PS — wasn’t it prudent to attrit Wagner in Bakhmut now? It wasn’t just the Ukies losing brigades… the long time spent, ensuring the thoroughness of the grind affected both sides. In case this show went live, now he has ten of thousands less crack shock troops at his disposal.

Interesting BBC transmits in US a radio-drama with “Japanese” accented English all about Fukushima spew. Just reminding everybody what the canon is today, Winston down at Truth must be busy.

Ok after listening to speeches and on reflection, this is no maskirovka but a loose nut that escaped reason or was turned.

Hal is now spewing something about US being obligated to conduct a first strike if Prigozhin gets his hands on Russian nukes. The raving messaging is unreal.

However this is far from 1917. This government has deep legitimacy and wide armed support. They will make mince meat of insurrectionists.

The issue is Crimea, and why they were so desperate to sever the links to Russia proper. If Wagner really controls Rostov now, and it’s the main resupply & HQ of the SMO, then Crimea becomes even more critical??? The Kerch bridge and whatever depots on Krim itself.. They need to solve this mutiny ASAP

Yes, dear AHH, this is not at all maskirovka, my mistake. No one would have imagined Prigozhin would go to this extent and execute his plan to capture Moscow itself with his ragtag band taken from penal colonies.

This is what Rogers’ Kitchen channel has to say-
Forwarded from MILITARY COMMANDER MARAT KHAIRULLIN :
“Let’s talk about the fate of Prigozhin.”

After several days of wonderful silence, Evgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin appeared on the air again. And again, he tried to take the next height – he spoke, apparently, with all his broad soul. Burned and shocked to the fullest. We will not retell and so widely dispersed. But in light of what they said, it is interesting to speculate about the personal fate of Evgeny Viktorovich.

Since many people express open bewilderment, I have already taken a swing at Vladimir Vladimirovich himself, and still have not been imprisoned (shot, poisoned, etc.). This is very unusual for a totalitarian dictator. But as always, when it comes to big politics, nothing is simple. So we need a background.

Let’s start with the moment when Alexander Beglov became the governor of St. Petersburg. Here, you need to understand that St. Petersburg is such a personal project of GDP and its St. Petersburg team.
The main operators of this project are two teams (groups, clans, associations, etc.). This is conventionally the Valentina Matvienko group and the Gazprom Group. They regularly replace each other.

And then, if you remember, Yevgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin arranged a public showdown with the newly appointed governor Beglov (he is a creature of the conditional group of Valentina Matvienko).

The point was very simple – it is not necessary to support efforts to destabilize the internal situation in the country.
The elite has the right to squabble among themselves, but in such a way as not to disturb the general peace of Russians. Who doesn’t know that internal stability is such a personal fetish of Vladimir Putin. You can’t be disrespectful about this.

It is interesting that something similar happened the day before and at the beginning of the SVO-all the alleged interested parties were again sent a signal that together with Prigozhin, it is not necessary to swing the internal situation and in general it is necessary to stay away from him. Let Evgeny Viktorovich work himself out.
In other words, those who are supposed to have calculated the current situation and carried out preventive work in advance.

As a result, we see that Yevgeny Viktorovich never managed to put together any serious coalition. He was supported only by a few idiotic military commissars, which in itself is indicative: relying on the support of outright imbeciles in serious cases means passing a sentence on yourself. This, to put it mildly, indicates someone’s personal inferiority and general weakness as a political player. This is not how things are done in our country. Moreover, this is so prominent that even old buddies did not support Yevgeny Viktorovich.

War correspondents and experts evaluated Prigozhin’s actions :

ahh you have tracked this very well.  if what perhaps began as a feint, it appears the chef may’ve begun to take seriously his character’s villainous role.  it’s also possible he was always city’s asset.  funded well & incited to concoct such a force from within, to be deployed when necessary.  it carries the stink of 1917.

putin’s anger tells the tale.  he, medvedev, the generals reveal the depth of what’s afoot.   & telegraph they are prepared.   signals: the treaty revealed to the african delegation; the success of  spief; the film footage of the horror of the nazis during the war & the grand question Why do the jews champion<span style=”font-size: 16px;”> such people? and </span><span style=”font-size: 16px;”>the invitation & privilege awarded algeria; the presence of the uae.  indeed, all victory flares were burning.  cherry topped by  xi’s meeting with blinken, & wang yi succinctly explaining to him, city’s boy, how it is going to be to him.  all foreshadowing the close of act 2 & the opening of act 3.</span>

empire is desperate, nukes are still possible.   i hold faith in russia & the roh.    the heavenly light of promise, & its abundant prosperity is too near now to shiver & stand down.  the plan has been thought through, this was expected.  the anger we read is neither shock nor surprise but fuel to carry on.

Welcome dear emerson. I hope all is well and returns to harmony.

I agree about the tragic Chef. His slow motion implosion since February gave time for the state to prepare… and per Sudhi’s Marat article above, they prepared for him since before the SMO!!

And mercenary armies, as reminded by Mr P’s piece from Machiavelli, are inherently unstable and untrustworthy. It was, during the 2013-2022 phase of Russia’s frantic arming and preparations for this world war, a necessary stop gap evil. It will be broken up now, or fully controlled by MoD.

The Chef is a heartbreaking figure. He earned the adulation of not merely Russia, but most of mankind.. now fully squandered with such deep betrayal. MKB’s poignant and sympathetic last piece is must read. I too wonder how much the western intel agencies had leverage over him. Remember until the SMO, the M.O. of the oligarchs was to park most of their loot in London or other western controlled off shore accounts. They are all in deep agony and loss nowadays, and to glee of ordinary Russians 😂🤣 Putin even smiled at their predicament at recent major speech (State of the Nation), to audience laughter, lol. So the Usual Suspects likely had sufficient levers..

Mr P, please share (screen shot or copy & paste or paraphrase) Locals content… not avail to most, unless subscribers.

Re: “The elite has the right to squabble among themselves, but in such a way as not to disturb the general peace of Russians. Who doesn’t know that internal stability is such a personal fetish of Vladimir Putin. You can’t be disrespectful about this.”

Exactly Sudhi. Same point made by MKB and countless others since 2000: internal interference in state matters is a deadly third rail which already cost some oligarchs dearly. Whether or not he is a foreign agent, he will be stomped on now. He used the rope of indulgence given him in the last months to hang himself! Now that you posted this, what will Smoothie talk about, lol!

The scope, ennui, associated characters, timing, moment in History, concerned Superpower, networking into the elite politics of the Tzar’s St. Petersburg base — the Chef would fit into any of the greatest figures in Greek play

Something interesting, a detail to the portrait of Prigozhin, so to speak
Vyacheslav Tarasov, the ex-head of the analytical service of Prigozhin condemned the actions of the head of the PMC “Wagner”
From 2020 to 2022, I worked as the head of the analytical service of Evgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin in St. Petersburg. My internal closed communication number is 983. Today I am the first deputy of the Donbass Development Corporation. Every day for the past 8 months I have been working in the frontline city of Donetsk, although I do not hold a weapon in my hands. Today is the day when for the first time it is necessary, vital for me to speak publicly about my work with Evgeny Viktorovich. I am not a professional journalist, so I wrote a text for myself and now I will read it out. Evgeny Viktorovich, in two years of close communication with you, I have
learned both your principles of life and your inner ideology. This is not what you tell numerous journalists in interviews and even personal conversations with this fake-flattering voice, this is not the pathos that you pour through your TG channels and recorded audio. This is the truth that only people who have worked under you know. You have one ideology – fear. Fear and deception. Your only sincere desire is power, undivided and absolute. Each of us who have worked for you knows that for any fault, for any objection expressed at the wrong time, you can go to the “teacher”. This is the executioner who beats people in the basement and sends you a photo, and you decide if to add or is it enough. It is impossible to resign from you – this is serfdom, where only you decide by your decision whether a person can leave you and on what conditions. Fear and only fear. Is this the kind of patriotism you bring to us on your bayonets? Your ideal is war communism. We have discussed this with you many times, and what excites you most about is the executions. Of course, for the good of the Motherland. But it’s only up to you to decide who will be shot personally. There is no law, only your opinion and decision. Helicopter crews won’t let you lie. You have already started doing this. Evgeny Viktorovich, there is no truth behind you. The purpose of my video is one – to show your true essence to people, PMCs fighters, warriors. To everyone who watches it. You are trying to flood Russia with blood in your pride. I am saying all this without hiding and I am ready to discuss all this publicly in order to show, only to show one thing: Evgeny Viktorovich, there is no truth behind you.

Not only did the Wagnerite coup core not get what was promised them by MI6/SBU — the diversionary atrocities in Moscow, the support of serious military cadre, the governors and oligarchs en route to Moscow… but they most devastatingly lost (1) the Telegram Super-Patriots amazed by the Chefs ludicrous claims of high Russian force losses, the Donbass wasn’t being shelled 2014-2022, this was Shoigu’s war of choice, and other western talking points! Even Girkin/Strelkov rebutted the raving nonsense.

And (2) the public immediately turned against them once they entered Rostov. There are videos of the mercs being beaten and challenged. What citizenry! What balls! What sense of honor! They immediately jettisoned the force built up by Telegram branding to be the Second Coming of the Red Army once the traitors crossed the border… the abject sordidness of the western intel failure! The cherry on top of the “Counteroffensive!”

Well done Sudhi in highlighting the 19th century Crazy Cossack who founded his own colony in Djibouti! It appears the Chef’s fate now rhymes with the Cossack. Both Tzars neatly defused the wayward son. Stripped of their ambitions and exiled whilst being defanged and declawed. Our Tractor Farmer Lukashenko will teach him how to farm potatoes!

This is lovely indeed. It will be a most bitter cuppa tea in London. No fratricide of civil war and darkly stirred Russian waters, but an anticlimactic and meek ending for the Old Chef, lol

Now they likely have reams of direct surveillance data on him which is sufficient, but Mercouris highlighted an interesting piece of news on Prigozhin from which we can extrapolate his true loyalties – that he was turned. (The lawyer Older Alex was careful to not say this) He said as he was crossing into Rostov from the Donbass border that, “I am crossing the state border….” Meaning from the Ukraine to Russia proper.

This is unlikely to be said by a patriot, quite consciously proud that the four little bears returned to the fold last Sept 30, 2022, during the greatest speech of VVP’s illustrious career (the Satanism Speech). Such a really off-key term of “state border” would be used by an agent submitting to foreign powers with whom it was agreed to return to 2013 borders….

Good riddance!! May we see or hear the last of Chef Windbag! I am worn out, disgusted how much time and energy he wasted — and I was among the minority that never followed nor listened to his crap on social media. I understood he was a necessary evil for many reasons, not least to while away the delusional hopes and crazed yearnings of Anglo-Americans whilst their empire was being efficiently quartered. Each man for his times, no?

In that regard, he was absolutely perfect. What is the saying — we would have to create him if he didn’t exist?! A God-send for Russia and Operation Z and to keep millions in the Global South engaged and rooting for the Good Guys. Only an arrogant self-possessed and cursing tyrant Narcissist coulda done it. Respect to the old boy.

In War, it is such SOBs that carry the day, not soy-boys. A naked sword is a naked sword — there is inherent lack of grace, subtlety, manners, and utility outside of raw savaging. But none defends a Nation better.

I heard from Yemeni saying as much. Once upon a time, millennia ago, a people complained about the rough uncouth semi-brigands marching to war through their village. An elder cautioned patience: these were men built for War, they would preserve their mutual honor and carry the battle against even the fiercest enemy. And a Sword is not a flower nor a gentle farmer… so it is incumbent on the too-civilized and dainty city folks to overlook their slights and the inevitable mess that trails their wake… for the very rumour of the coming of Our Barbarians can sometimes cause the foe to flee or obviates the need for battle.

And that informs why his intolerable mutiny and participation in the amateurish coup attempt didn’t meet summary capital punishment. On the balance, before he went ape-shit, likely due to PTSD the poor schmuck, his social media virtuoso conducting alone was worth Gold and eternal forgiveness.

Putin’s handling of his implosion was masterful. What a leader! 🙏🏼🤲🏼 He swallowed his rage, remembering services tendered and the need to preserve the Myth of Our Barbarians. This needs to remain a point of pride on Russian mantles for another 100 generations. He saw, as with getting Ukies to fight their slavic cousins, that Wagner was as much a target of this Anglo plot. It was deftly handled, and in-house using the services of the Union State in breathtaking speed. Can you hear the wailing from London and Foggy Bottom? Lord Austin ran outta diapers long ago…

All civilizations have had legendary figures like our cuddly Chef… reaching the highest highs in the history of their peoples and plunging so shamefully low in such quick succession. But Time and fragile human memories are most kind — their latter ugliness will soften out. We will forgive and forget the Fall..

Just crossing our fingers the Last Dictator of Europe can bore him to death on the fields with manly work farming potatoes or splitting wood for Duda and other needy folks further west!

I appreciate the good sense of “An elder cautioned patience: these were men built for War, they would preserve their mutual honor and carry the battle against even the fiercest enemy. And a Sword is not a flower nor a gentle farmer…”  I have known men that were simply formed to be warriors, physically and by character. Many die young, as if formed to be disposable – often they’re rash and impulsive…which is dangerous.

Larry J has theory, and it may be more or less true. “Did Prigozhin scam his western handlers out of millions of dollars? Yevgeny does have a criminal past and is known for sticky fingers. Did he draw on his criminal past and fleece the British or the Americans? Could be a terrific story.” https://sonar21.com/russias-academy-award-winning-performance-for-best-coup-prigozhin-scores-best-actor/

If true, then acting abilities of VVP have improved more than I had estimated.

A gentleman barrister that I read has another opinion. https://adeyinkamakinde.blogspot.com/2023/06/explaining-madness-of-prigozhins-mutiny.html

At the moment, anyway, Brother Johnson’s theory seems “best”…

If “Mr Stickyfingers” burned the western spies, well! Some say that Fidel burned the Dulles fellas… (I think he did, not that he did it for personal gain) Anyway, if the entire rodeo was an operation and a cover for movements, and if Prigozhin did scam them out of the swag, if so, there will be great stories ’round the fire at some dacha…

I think I fell for the con.

I am not so sure Mr P… that was genuine anger and discomfort on VVP’s face. They shot down a chopper and killed men. It was coordinated with the “counteroffensive” and many other moves. (Smoothie’s last video hints at what will eventually come out – that this was the real deal and their intel was onto it, and shaped it towards desired ends…)

Being branded a Traitor by Public Prosecutor is not a light matter, etc….. Yeah, men have taken a knee for their nation during existential times, but this is excessive. And risking the focus of the SMO and integrity of the critical defensive line during contrived Chaos? Naah, this is most unorthodox and unnecessary. Too many moving balls in the air….

Rather the Chef was turned at the end, or convinced to take an offer he couldn’t refuse. They had a full profile on him after living 60 sensuous years in St. Petersburg. They know their own and where to apply “counter-pressure.”

I am leaning toward Larry’s piece being part of Swamp copium. The stink of amateurism wafts to the highest Heaven! This is unlivable and so cringeworthy….. Oh, the serving of crow served to the sinking scum!

Wondering too, yes VVP does seem genuinely angry… but we don’t know why… Was this because of the shooting and deaths, because these were not in the plan? Or for the implied reasons, or for some set of things.

        From Rogers’ Kitchen channel –
        Forwarded from ZOV SVOбоды :
“There are a number of questions, misunderstandings, and obvious inconsistencies.”

        1. How did thousands of Wagner soldiers arrive in Rostov with hundreds of armoured vehicles and weapons unnoticed? This could not have happened unnoticed, and obviously, the question would have been, “Guys, where are you going? The war is on the other side.”

        2. If this is a real attempt at an armed coup, then the first thing that the rebels must do is to win over or destroy/block the security forces loyal to the state – the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, the Rosgvardiya, and military units that exist in every city. But there are no clashes, and there are no attempts to seize military units with weapons, equipment and ammunition. That is, they “captured” the city and went on in a column, leaving the armed military and security forces behind.

        3. If this is a real attempt at an armed coup d’etat, then why doesn’t the State destroy a defenseless column on the march, which drives through open terrain on the road for hours?

        4. Wagner receives all ammunition from the Russian Defense Ministry. You can’t buy artillery shells and rockets at a market. Obviously, the Ministry of Defense will not give any more shells. They could get them in n military units, which Wagner does not attempt to capture for some reason. To go on an armed mutiny without being able to replenish ammunition is strange.

        5. There is no resistance from military units and the security forces, as if they were told “normal, sit down, everything is going according to plan.” It could be sad “because they support Wagner” – OK, no question, then why didn’t any department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or anyone else go over to the side of the rebels?

        6. If this is a real coup attempt, then the authorities would first stupidly block all the accounts of all companies associated with Prigozhin and stop their activities.

        7. Okay, Prigozhin is one person who could sell out to NATO, Ukrainians, etc. for mountains of gold. But to include in such a situation, 26,000 people who were previousl defending and dying for the interests of Russia? There may be some traitors, but not ALL? Is it so easy say – “OK, let’s go organize a coup d’etat, plunging the country into chaos, devastation, civil war and defeat.” It doesn’t happen that way.

        8. The absolute futility of the idea initially. i.e., in fact, suicide. They may be suicidal but not all 26,000 at once?

That is, in the event of a real coup attempt, both the rebels and the authorities would act quite differently from what they are doing now.

In general, there is a timid hope that this is some kind of staging (for example, to provoke the UGIL to throw all the reserves into the counter-hook, and not to sit out in the wagon).

        Photo from Rostov :
Yes, yes, this is how the dudes who just captured the city as part of an armed mutiny behave “on the chill”.
They take pictures, drink beer from cans, and let everyone climb on tanks …

thank you, sudhi, for posting this translation.  i’d glimpsed this link from larch, but in my rush this morning didn’t have time to translate so your work is much appreciated.

i agree with amarynth, the chef appears to be deranged & when he became city’s asset is irrelevant.  one of my questions from the beginning of his hysterical protestations has been, hello, emerson, putin is kgb, he has a gift & an acute sixth sense, if an old buddy, trusted to cater to foreign dignitaries & to front a foreign legion in the smo had gone off track to such a degree to believe he might entice a coup—putin would sense it & begin to track & trap.  otoh, if the chef had always had offshore interests/connections, putin (& other sharp eyed/sharp minded individuals: patrushev) would know this, just as we all have tracked past friends’ dalliances & remarkable outta the blue gifts.   it’s possible it was a masterful symphony composed, conducted & performed to perfection.  russians know the nuances & heart stopping interludes of timeless symphonies like no other, hollywood plagiarizes & claims a patent on all classical compositions.

the helicopter/blood seems utterly false.  the chef sequestered with luka causes consideration, was luka was in from the beginning.  agreed, putin’s anger is real, but may be caused by more than we glean, as the smo began when ukraine began to entertain & request accessing nuclear potential & the 30/40 labs were staging releasing a bioweapon attack…it’s possible putin knew about city’s nuclear intentions, regarding the npp.  @ this stage we are still reading the saucers flying overhead.

Yeah, I did not buy the helicopter shoot down or the fixed wing shoot down initially.  But Prigozhin himself said that the fixed wing families will receive some money.  Then again, he said a lot of things.

My opinion is that Prigozhin, and I listened to his ranting and his telegram shoutings, experienced a psychological breakdown.  If I noodle on it, I think he was bought, but not long time ago, quite recently, and he broke down, as he was really a patriot.  I think it is the bought status that drove him to psychotic break.  A little more .. In the old days, we called this a bipolar episode.  Where one is happy, so happy that you will believe you can fly off the roof and keep flying, and the other pole a deep depression, so deep that hospitalization and straight jacket is necessary, because you will fly off the roof and not keep flying.  Then you think you are Cleopatra at least for a while, until the BigMeds cocktail starting with Lithium kicks in.  These days in modern language it would be spectrum language.   He did not present quite normal at the end there, no matter how broad one kicks out the ‘false-normal’ description.

I once worked with a fella, many years ago, and only for the paper and the cap and the gown, because I was headed up a different direction, that bought a bunch of ships full of rice while he was on high ground – all good, all legal, correct documentation, bank guarantees and all that, but by the time his bunch of ships full of rice arrived, he was in straight jacket.  Never knew what happened to the rice.

I’m sorry that the mystique of PMC Wagner has dissipated like mist before the sun.  We need some heroes.  And there are some Wagner groups back in Syria.  I guess the Russian will pick that up.

You may be onto more than you know! I worked as a medical student in the psych ward – both inpatient and outpatient. The drugs they have now are terrible, precluding need of straitjackets. Indeed, some of the over the counter sleep meds like Colin Powell’s favorite Ambien lead to such mental sluggishness the next day as to be a form of chemical restraint! The entire Big Pharma Cartel is run by criminals who help create problems which require more meds with more side effects that require more meds ad infinitum….

did the MIC Merchants of Death learn how to create useless boondoggles and weapons systems for pure unending profit and constant maintenance and upgrades by watching the business model of western Big Pharma of the last several centuries??

Anyway, the rage he expresses in his videos is scary and frankly psychotic — beyond abnormal. In fact, i have seen videos of demonic possession that are like that. Nervous breakdowns can present opportunities for possession. And definitely drug use is another portal. In fact, the point of Ukies and NATO requiring their troops to drug up has clear secondary objectives, besides giving endurance and focus and other short term battlefield advantages (which cost the individual in recovery time and long term health) — it could be a conscious ploy to invite principalities to assist their side. That’s also why their nazi cadre leaders in Odessa and Mariupol were caught with male escorts — sodomy is another portal, like drugs… also famous in Himmler’s SS during WW2.

I also documented in Lineaments P07 the satanic shrines and totems found in Ukie foxholes and hastily abandoned battle sites… so this is a war on many levels, many hidden to us. I agree with Mr P and others that perhaps the Chef started his fall when he started using drugs (if he did so — it may be simple PTSD, extreme rage itself another portal, or narcissism) in trying to keep up with his youngsters. Remember he is 61 years old and not a spring chicken. He may have taken stimulants to keep up with the youngsters. Stimulants are given out like candy to many militaries, for example I heard of US Air Force to help keep sleep at bay and for focus on long flights. It also reduces hunger and may be cynical device on troops with reduced food logistics at the front…

Yeah Sudhi, excellent questions. Like why Russians didn’t carpet bomb the Ukraine and cut off the electricity and internet from day one, or sever the bridges over the Dnieper, etc… This is a most unusual war. An SMO is the perfect moniker. And Russians see these foes as mindwashed and drugged brothers and need to live next to the survivors…

On reflection i am leaning toward a coup attempt. But the most deranged and unprofessional one in history. Compromised long in advance by Russian intel, who rode its wave for various secondary uses, chiefly to clean house, including sclerotic figures within the MoD and the PMC paradigm itself and evicting the Chef from a useful fighting force, which is according to most now the top global urban shock troops alongside the Chechens.

It was a coup given the extraordinary alignment of forces. Russia a year and a half into the war was expected to have a cratered economy, hungry, internationally isolated, with internal sabotage/terrorism & oligarchic comeback & chaos, the Ukie land army on the deep offensive and within Russia proper — and the NATO air force jumping into the fray with Air Defender and tactical nukes. A disillusioned and cynical Wagner merc group was supposed to apply the coup de grâce, a relatively unopposed mop up duty… but the one-track deviants didn’t update the plans or rather they chose to escalate by trying to suicide Wagner. Like the Ukies, Wagner could at least be used to stir up chaos and prolong the war and hopefully weaken Russia somehow. Fortunately most in Wagner were patriotic and the few thousands that crossed the border were supposedly tricked into thinking they were defending Belgorod… And Russia refused to incinerate a friendly force, patiently letting negotiations, Chechens and the absurdity of the entire situation lead to defusing of the standoff. Thank God that paid off.

The rapidity of the coup resolution, full support by the power groups and entire nation of Putin, and its totally anticlimactic and full capitulation by the Chef, now has the opposite effect. It strengthens Russia. It demonstrates to 5th columns internally and both allies & enemies externally the deep resiliency and legitimacy of their state, notwithstanding the agitprop of the West. Back to square one for the crazies. 🙏🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

From Rostislav Ishchenko’s recent article –
        https://ukraina.ru/20230625/1047547986.html :

I didn’t think it would end so quickly. However, Prigozhin’s sudden “complaisance” indicates that far from stupid people were going to become the beneficiaries of this rebellion. As well as the fact that they still have hope (and perhaps they are even sure) that responsibility will be avoided. After all, the formal exposure did not occur.

It remains to clear the Augean stables. This task can be simplified by the interested participation of former formal leaders of the rebellion. Why interested? After all, it seems that the authorities have no complaints against them (everyone is forgiven) and you can not give evidence. The fact is that they can lead to hidden and unsolved traitors. The latter are well aware of this danger for themselves and will try to level it out. The principle is well known: “no person, no problem.” Well, if you shared your knowledge with the authorities, then killing you is pointless and even dangerous, because it is immediately clear who the customer is (they can catch you by the hand). In addition, a valuable witness will be well protected.

Unfortunately, the most interesting, hidden part of the fight against the insurgency and eliminating the possibility of a new one, which is now entering an active phase, we will not see. This performance is not for the general public. But there will definitely be a real finish, not an intermediate one. Everyone will receive according to their deeds.

      Yes!

Re: “They may now redouble their efforts at subversion, imagining that they “almost” did it.”

We are on same wavelength or frequency. This was my sense. Another attempt. And very soon. In fact, the whole world’s holding its breath. And in a way they are correct. This is the point of vulnerability for Russia, right after a [clumsy] attempt. All worldwide are watching.

Imagine if they can swing a lunatic or oligarch under Kompromat and under wraps since the SMO began to start something now and inside the capital. It doesn’t even have to be serious. Just enough to keep the rocking going, sow the doubts. It’s all mindwar now.

There’s a formula I’ve long forgotten of how to establish resonance. In medical resonance, you keep percussing and tapping the chest until you find the dull spot, the sick spot. And under current existential conditions, you keep tapping..

➡️ under the current circumstances, the point is not regime change but “to freeze multipolarity.” All subsequent steps, whether BRICS currency, defense against hegemony, diplomatic networking, etc.. rely on Russia and confidence in Russia. If it cannot be militarily defeated, they will work for political defeat — sow chaos any which way, or convey the image of a house built on sand.. the target audience being those counting on Russia in BRICS+ & the Global South. dear ahh, ‘you may be onto to more than you know.’  empire has continually attacked under a doomed plan, failing to take into account its own failures & singularly blind to its own vulnerabilities the plan backfires.  empire’s lap is scorched from such attempts.  attempts to foment further subversion may, with the current jet stream, meet a cool awakening amongst its vassals’ murmuration.  as empire’s economic escapades ignored its own sand castles so it has ignored the growing throngs refusing the kool aid.  it  has been mystical how whatsoever empire unleashes no sooner than its launched returns with greater force than that deployed to nest in the sender’s deep bunker.

Well said. Many a bow being tied off, to mix metaphors, in this cruel age for a decadent and inadequate Hegemon..

And that’s why we love the old tiger! Is this the Anthem of the Russian FSB? He sings The Police to affirm what Smoothie and Ishchenko said; that this is the Keystone Coup of all times. Adding to galactic bitterness of our eternal Losers, the neocons — they’ve now cemented the prestige and secure power of VVP within Russia through this stunt. During the Spring Equinox, the Emperor XJP was wise to congratulate him in advance for winning the 2024 election.

“By Saturday evening, the foreign intelligence chief Sergey Narishkin announced that the coup attempt had failed. The Russian authorities were waiting for Prigozhin to make his move.

Looking back, as he does over the Chef’s actions of the last year, it becomes clear to deduce the coup was building since 2022… everything, from the BS shells shortage now said to be stocking up, shaped the coming move this past weekend. (Q: are most dastardly stock market & regime change shenanigans scheduled for weekends?!)

“Interestingly, though, at some point, much to Prigozhin’s annoyance, Moscow also began deploying regular troops selectively on the Bakhmut front alongside the Wagner fighters.” All that talk of regular troops cowardice and ineffectiveness on his flanks… would a robber want to hemmed by the police breathing down his tight neck the days before the big heist?! 🤣😂

Maybe our poor Chef went literally crazy not from PTSD but the dawning realization every move was being checked in advance! His role strictly defined and boxed in. He and his troops would die honestly storming for nation, rather than dishonestly storming for power back home! 😂👍🏼👏🏻 Oh those clever Rooskies! Will not hesitate to use even a rotten tool for a good purpose lol. The sweetness of shaping, like water flows over its channel.

And the cherry: carted off like a freshly gelded steer to the pasture, “under the benevolent eyes of President Alexander Lukashenko.”

I’ve long loved our tractor farmer Luka. My favorite dictator for life. His narcissism and “multi-vector diplomacy” of most years since 1991 were worth tolerating. Look what he’s achieved since Jan 2022! He brought Nazarbaev and now the Chef in from The Cold. And even prior, the balls to personally face off the Belarus coup attempt with an AK in his stubby and well-worn hands.

But all this effort at regime change in Moscow is another notch on the ledger, after the economic war of sanctions, instrumentalizing the UkroNazis, funneling in arms, cash, ISR, media support, Poles & mercs, etc… He finishes a most thoughtful and foreboding article with the terrible accounting due the perfidious West!

What a piece by the Indian maestro diplomat.

Indeed Mr MKB writes a fine evaluation. Term snatched from crosstalk> coup du théâtre   I like his last line> “It is a huge signal in advance to the “collective West” that nothing will be forgotten. ” Right. Nothing at all.

In method-acting, of course, the actor becomes the character, and with amateurs it’s best that they do not know their role, but act naturally… Oswald being an example. Of course the same is true for genuine criminals too – they don’t need to know they’re the hare and not the hound.

Seen as theater, I await the silent secret solos and the chorus . As MKB puts it> “…Prigozhin sing — sooner rather later — and the song will be transmitted live to the Kremlin. And that accounts for the great nervousness in Washington, which has raised the spectre of…” As off-stage we hear several volleys of rifle fire as the quisling cadres face fate sit in police interrogation cubicles…swirl  fog…spectral ghosts hover and flit overhead…

It’d make a good play. It does too. Actually Gore Vidal would make it a novel with a TV series…

Speaking of crime> https://archive.ph/j6om4 “Women War Criminals: A Vital Cog in NATO’s Plans of World Conquest”    This raises questions beyond the scope of the article. Dear emerson, the ironies of history and how various personages flutter from era to era. You will love this. Tolstoy, whose grandson Pepe recently met in Moscow, appears linked to this bizarre coup by our torpid Chef.

I learned a few hours ago the centrality of Tula (both its river Oka and the young can-do governor, who used to be Putin’s bodyguard btw) and SVR head Naryshkin to defusing the cornered Chef and arranging his permanent sojourn abroad..

I wrote last year in our old Cafe about the history of the Voentorg building in Moscow. It was inspired by Auslander recounting the Russians still using a [minesweeper?] built from around WW1. The Voentorg building was similarly long lived.

It was built on the famous Vozdvizhenka Street, home to various nobility, such as the Tolstoys and Naryshkins. I am assuming he is of that family! But given his connections and career trajectory and intense patriotism for his land, what are the odds they are not?

And for a while, the author Tolstoy lived walking distance from Tula too. So on one of the most fateful days in Russia’s long history, a hopeless ragtag mercenary column was halted in Tula, and its governor and a Naryshkin were instrumental in averting bloodshed between Russians……

PS – Larch, the Chef was not expected to succeed. Just to start internal bloodletting and discredit the Wagner brand abroad. Perhaps that explains VVPs deep anger in the proclamation. They meant to put him in zugzwang — to have to kill a bunch of deluded and ill-equipped Russians on Russian soil. A humiliation either way. It would have unraveled many strong threads that took generations to weave, both inside and outside Russia. This is why the Tula gov, Naryshkin, Luka and whomever else finessed it will live on evermore as permanent heroes….

This article is as bizarre as it gets, but it does does talk about the ‘centrality of the Tula governor’, though in a completely different context:
“THE REBELS ARE BEHEADED, THE INSTIGATORS ARE ARRESTED”? AND IT’S NOT PRIGOGINE”
In one of the Telegram channels of the Wagner group, an audio recording appeared. Someone describes the situation with the Prigozhin mutiny, prefixing his speech with the following words:: “I ask that you post this on your information resources.” This person introduced himself as a marine officer of the Northern Fleet “from the Kherson direction”. He says that a unique special operation was carried out in the style of the KGB – “lightning-fast and deadly for the enemy.” And explains what it was all about :
        https://m.tsargrad.tv/articles/mjatezhniki-obezglavleny-zachinshhiki-arestovany-i-jeto-ne-prigozhin_812948
The word ‘stuffing’ immediately comes to the mind. Political commentator Andrey Perla expressed the following opinion about the conspiracy theory voiced in this article:
“I think that such texts do not improve the situation primarily for Wagner itself. Because these texts are an attempt to prove that although you retreated in front of everyone, in fact you achieved everything and won everything.
“In any case, very soon we will understand how great the consequences of the “mutiny”are. I think they are very large. But the content of these texts has nothing or almost nothing to do with everything that happened.”

Dear Mr P, read a few articles from your recommended searchterm> “substack + artificially stimulated stupidity”. Here are some snippets from them :

It seems like two things are happening at once—endless hype about how superintelligent AI will be, and also lots of examples of how it absolutely sucks. Infinite money will be pumped into AI, with hype about how it will revolutionize everything, along with examples of how AI actually does not do anything it is supposed to do. AI has nothing to do with truth, knowledge, creativity, imagination, or anything else that might have value. All it will do is accelerate the worst parts of the Internet.

Nothing in the AI tech is intelligent by itself. The right application can lead to very intelligent solutions – and a few mistakes can lead to the complete opposite. Brian Eno once said, “artificial intelligence is, in many ways, a misnomer; what computers really have is ‘artificial stupidity.’”

Here’s another perspective from psychologist Dr. Ilona L. Tobin: “Cooking, gardening, keeping a journal, handiwork and crafts are all creative acts. Arranging flowers or rearranging furniture, painting a picture or painting a room, singing on stage, or singing in the shower—these are all responses to the ‘call.’”
On psychology.com, Dr. Tobin says, “Creativity requires risk-taking. It asks us to surrender, to lose control, to trust.” It may be relieving to surrender to our creativity in smaller, even perhaps mundane, ways.

Can AI tech take risks and really surrender, trust itself and lose control when its just an algorithm supported by massive amount of GPU’s and servers in a computer network?

      Kind of a ramble….

We are in close agreement, generally, and about AI, very close agreement, I think. Next time Norbert Wiener stops at the Dew Drop Inn we shall have to discuss the natural consequences of cybernetic creations. Imagining the intelligence of, say, a simple machine like a lever in concert with “Gork”…there the machine pushes Mr Gork to bias toward improvements in his intelligence.  He may begin to discover trigonometry, in the fullness of Time… But at the other end of the spectrum? Universal stupidity? Ah suspicion that the cybernetic process might be represented as bell-shaped – with an ideal bracketed by idiots at each end. At the ends, Mr Gork cannot even count his own toes. In the center region? Quantum physics and mysteries of cryptographic mathematics, and radio and the applied crafts and science. Gee whiz, it’d be jus’ great if Brother Ted Kaczynski could engage with Brother Norbert…eh? Hey! There’s Steve Allen… If permitted to kibitz at the bar, I’d propose that the matter might be related to the causations underlying  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yerkes%E2%80%93Dodson_law

I never did like the time and motion fellas…the Charley Taylor types. Recalling the guy I knew who worked on the line putting seats in Kaiser cars … They gave him 48 seconds to put in 12 bolts, he said… so he put in four, and threw the rest under the carpet. So much for the time and motion finks…

To survive, genuine civilizations are going to have to bring the AI (and the steam engine) to heel. Ted had some coruscations.

We’ve been blessed by a bounty of blueberries, and it’s great fun to watch the jays eye their berry, fly to pick it, and flutter back to peck out the juicybestbit, all the while keeping a weather eye on the cat…and us. Always leave gleaning for the poor, and the critters. I have myself heard Kansas farmers so speak. Charity as Law. Where it belongs.

We have a few wonderful roads not far from Anoxia…and I chanced to blunder into a gaggle of fellas riding their  old time Bonneville TT160 bikes, they were headed over the hills to the sea on bikes built in the early 1960’s. Very nice fellas, and very pretty bikes…simple, elegant, frugal, and fast enough for any fool. Generally these are 50 horsepower bikes. Light, and nimble. Geewhiz… https://www.facebook.com/reel/912229326520960  (a practical example illustrating the importance of situational awareness)  I think there’s still a bit of snow at the pass… long ride. no gas. no beer. There is no let up in rabid Little Britannia. Even while they reel from the humiliation of abject coup failure which actually strengthened Russia, and all are taking stock and peace threatens to break out as the demented West realizes the utter futility of defeating Russia any which way… they stage “the most serious confrontation between the Russian military and a NATO surveillance flight over the Black Sea since March!”

And now, the senior Russian senator is also given top billing on RT that the crazies are trying to coup Serbia. No sense or shared humanity! Do they want mankind to kettle them in their semi-barren islands and wall them off in a permanent reservation? What drop in QoL would it take to get current elites hung? ‼⚡ Must watch outstanding interview. ⚡‼ Goes fast at 1.5 — 1.75x speed. Wraps another bow on overall contours of this affair. What remains are tactics of both sides, which will seep out eventually.. note his sobering comments at very end regarding the grim determination of the full quorum of the Russian Security Council.

I assume Wagner camps were approximate to Artyomovsk/Bakhmut and Lugansk. Much closer to Rostov (and severing critical SMO supply node) than to Belgorod. All-in-all, if Ukie offensive had worked and they’d received internal power structures’ support, it could have been a devastating gambit, albeit short-term. Russia still enjoyed air superiority and escalation dominance and had nukes and as VVP said would have snuffed it out no matter what it took. So even in best case scenario, it was a mad suicide mission for short term political optical gains — like Feb 1917.

And that raises the question, who are the current bolsheviks, the follow-ons still under wraps and biding their time for the moment of serious weakening when the sixth column fools sufficiently did their task? I would think these are the most disciplined of all, not exposing themselves with making calls or premature celebrations or fleeing the country in panic. They remain burrowed in comfortable stasis like a hard dry seed….

Dear AHH, Rostislav Ishchenko’s latest article has some thoughts that are very closely aligned with yours; “In War, it is such SOBs that carry the day, not soy-boys. A naked sword is a naked sword — there is inherent lack of grace, subtlety, manners, and utility outside of raw savaging. But none defends a Nation better….for the very rumour of the coming of Our Barbarians can sometimes cause the foe to flee or obviates the need for battle.”

      https://ukraina.ru/20230627/1047573036.html :
“In any society, there are people who call themselves “dogs of war,” “wild geese,” etc. They don’t see themselves in a peaceful life. If they are not given the opportunity to satisfy their instincts, they will become dangerous to society (they will go into crime). If you help them to satisfy their desire to fight continuously, they will benefit society and the state, and some who are particularly lucky may even become national heroes.

It is difficult for such people to fit into the state power structures. They are said to be an excellent fighter at the front, but a person who absolutely does not recognize any subordination, which can get away with in war, but is absolutely intolerable in peacetime. Previously, these people went into the wild mercenaries and fell into the semi-criminal gray zone. Now PMCs working within the framework of state regulation make it possible to take this movement under control and provide them with the opportunity to constantly conclude new contracts for war, and to ensure the protection of the law.”

Thankfully, even the longest day comes to an end

Yes Sudhi, these things were known since dawn of civilization. Every human has a purpose and role.. even if most do not know it. A lucky nation has wise leadership which keeps these principles in mind, overlooks much during war by such men who’re invariably rash, impetuous and brutal in character.

But betrayal is absolutely intolerable and cannot be forgiven. They killed men and attempted a coup on behalf of foreign (& internal) enemies. It has to be dealt with to maintain cohesion and respect of others in authority and for justice itself. Maybe he’ll fall off a cliff skiing, or be dined on by a lion in Africa, or whatever — but those who need to know will know and can close this sordid chapter. It shouldn’t harm Wagner in the long run at all since he was essentially a PR front. The foundational soldiers and GRU spooks and other nuts and bolts remain. If Russia can somehow avert nuclear provocations and nuclear war itself, its future is incandescently bright!

Sudhi, the idea arises that the subtleties of human genetics tends to create such boy-men fighters as a response, or possibly to create, conflict…the idea being that proportionality and agency exist…that these fighters are rare in quiet times of prosperity and stability, and far less rare when they are needed. And do Rulers also add to this by long-term policies… Rulers always exploit the natural way, if they stay in power very long. And yes, the PMC or even a well crafted draft policy can easily channel fighters, and all the rest, into better outcomes. I am in favor of universal service for young men of all classes. A 100% draft. Thus the experienced officer-instructors easily identify the several types – and everybody gets a good sweaty 18 months of exercise and a sort of communist class leveling. BTW the safety training at the shooting range would be a fine place to observe the boys, with an eye to which should not be trusted…aheeem. And which were hopeless. Which are ordinary, which are exceptionally bright, and so forth. Of course in a nazi hegemon, it might be better if the draft was postponed until peace arises. I’m in theoretical mode here.

      – For example, that in Russia it is necessary to carry out a mass purge of potential oppositionists. Here is a quote from Lukashenka: “In Russia, a lot of people sit under the plinth in society. And there they have not yet begun work against them, as we are now cleaning up: blathered somewhere, looked, they checked the year 2020 – come here. It’s not there yet.”

There are are many other Russian patriots and well wishers calling for such purge and cleansing of the Augean stables.
Recently Alexander Dugin joined @AussieCossack in calling for a great purge of cowardly elites and traitors in Russia. Russian political analysts, experts and members of the public agree on the need for a big purge in Russia.
“The time has come for the country to be completely cleansed of cowards and traitors. We need a purge of the elites, and in all the most important departments. Some have shown themselves to be heroes, others traitors and cowards,” Dugin declared.

“Dugin: This is a turning point. Bifurcation point”

To summarize, there are two decisionist scenarios. Good and terrible.
      1. A good script.
… we should now pay attention to the generalized program that Prigozhin hastily promulgated: society is sorely lacking in justice, honor, courage and intelligence on the part of the elites. It is so lacking that it causes a real explosion. So why not adopt this idea for the authorities themselves? Putin now (and always) is in the position that he can do it and he will definitely succeed. So:
      – rotation of elites,
      – punishment of cowards and traitors,
      – encouragement of the faithful and brave,
      – correction of ideology in the direction of patriotic consciousness, social justice and real inclusion of society in the war.
Less PR, more reality. And everything will fall into place.

      2. A terrible scenario. Leave everything as it is. Don’t change anything. Remove any mention of June 24 and its participants from the media and blogosphere. Criminalize any appeal to patriotism with a reference to mutiny. Blame everything on the West and its machinations. Draw a conclusion in favor of liberalism and flood everything with PR technologies and winning relationships. It was what happened that led to what happened. If nothing is changed, the disaster will repeat itself, and this time it will be fatal.

the chef, as i understood wagner’s executive, was simply the front man & that its actual head was a seasoned veteran familiar with hybrid terror from syria, possibly libya.  so, yes, having luka babysit & rattle the chef with lullabies, safely away from the constraints of russian public scrutiny, is a distraction handily nullified.  the dead, honoured but never cited, are awarded the status of martyrs, a fragrance of incense enveloping putin’s every word.  the chef’s casket, like  hoffa’s tax returns cradled within a very russian accounting ledger, suggests the audit has barely begun.

Yes, agreed on every count. The legend of Wagner’s being carefully preserved and hermetically separated from Prigozhin. His fate’s commensurate with the unforgivable horror he unleashed. First he’ll be bankrupted and stripped of the loot dearer to oligarchs than anything else on this plane. Unable to pay for bodyguards and retainers.. dismantled brick by brick. In the end, a typical casualty of war and his life-long character…

Re : “no State survives a war without major change, and that in a major contest, one “becomes” the enemy, at least in degree.”

Every time I seek solace and hopeful horizons, that perhaps peace may break out, old men from Anoxia resonate with other historical old men from Moscow! I sense dreadful brooding from the Kremlin. Will they cross the line and preempt those who unequivocally declared their wild intent?? Does accepting the hit and taking the high road of a second strike remain palatable given what’s now square on the table? Isn’t the sauce for the goose equally appropriate for the gander??

How can such terrible set paths and circuits be broken? What use is military supremacy and building a free alternative world when a grinning gremlin-devil is opening Pandora’s chest? These are no mere words from shysters musing in the wind. They are a promise

Germany is in deep agony. To countenance the murder of your economy is one thing — it can be maintained on life support and hope springs eternal — they may hope for revival after the Anglos croak and they are defacto freed by default. Germany was broken in terrible ways by WW2 and the occupation aftermath..

However the last weekend was a deep terror. Not only did the attempted putsch fail miserably but it strengthened internal stability (removing such implosion from calculations, the only sane calculations). It was immediately followed up by Karaganov’s second “letter.” In part one, he’d mentioned multiple European targets, not just a single city. So death and Atomic Rain hangs over them. The front line defacto moved to them.

Did they deliberately slight the abject US slave and Green nut Annalena by pivoting to the VVP address? Messaging? Is this one of the biggest channels in Germany still? Top three? In desperate times in the past, what cryptic signals were used by inmates to broadcast to the outside world for help?

Let’s watch this, especially if more steps materialize. I think it was Mercouris who said the first to fall away may be Germany.

I take it that you’ve come to opinion Gospodin Prigozhin actually fell for the lucre and blandishments. Well, the best patsy is one that runs itself. It does begin to look like the fella did a bad…but maybe the gag’s not over yet. Good con games have layers and more than one purpose.

Yes, as Alex the Elder says, Germany. But Bismarck would have also said this. However, that was his Germany…this one is turning a trick. (the lurid stories about child prostitutes and chocolate and GI’s were ordinary in my time.) The character of Germany is now unknown, as she is in “switch bounce” or arcing condition. But the “delta P”, the “energy” latent in Germany, the grain and meat and coal…this is not enough…the geographic reality biases the conflict. I am sure Germany and Russia will make a good treaty, in the fullness of time. I do keep watch on their politics. Germany has always been a keystone. I think it still is…but ahgotkrautblood too…maybe I am not honest with myself about this.

Yeah, dearsweetinnocent Annalina was insulted.  Mrs P spent time in television studios… (and the studios, and got mistaken for starlets, which she warn’t).

As I have pointed out, first use is a quaint concept. It already took place. And the stigma has morbid value… so I look for the subtle and indirect…and am thinking about “ecomcon” (sevendaysinmay)  or rather satellites and especially cables…far less emotion…and recall that in zone west many are latent opposition. They’d be amused when richphucks panic..

I do hope everybody enjoyed the practical example of failure to maintain operational awareness…. Machine, like Moscow, do not believe in tears. My prejudice, bikes are an illustrative icon…of phuckaroundfindout. Once I calculated the minimum differential velocities necessary to produce death…about 5 mph. It varies… I guess the foregoing is metaphysical… oh well…one little screwup…and all the attaboys go poof!

      Best! P

I have no idea whether he’s an unwitting patsy (a useful idiot) or part of the opposing team… I hadn’t studied him — didn’t follow his social media or life story much — so can’t say. No feel or color. But how could he say those egregious lies at the end about deliberate own-fire, SMO built on lies, the defensive lines were breached, etc…. that strains credulity he was innocently narcissistic and being played! Unless on drugs or became possessed or just unhinged or his circle narrowed and he was being fed bad data..

We will eventually get the sordid details. But assuming Luka can capture his attention for a few days or better weeks, that gives opportunity to turn him back, no? But his western contacts wouldn’t trust him anyhow after his capitulation and long stay with Luka. And elements on both sides are gunning for him. So does it matter what his real role was given the paths ahead?

Older Alex mentioned the rest of the apparatchiks have taken to following VVP’s device of not even using his name. He is dead to them, canceled while still warm. The Ephialtes of Trachis of his times. The very horror of his predicament should speed his implosion.

      Sorry Liz,

Your scenario and question is above my mind-grade. Each of us has a limit what we can endure.. And I thank God I’m neither elite nor among those having to make the call. And such calls are now being made…

I don’t think it will happen though. It should remain a bluff of sorts.

      (1) it is against the grain of VVP, even if his full Sec Council urges him. Perhaps if he were 20 years younger and without the accumulated methodical and legal baggage. Or if Medvedev were in charge. 😓 That guy wouldn’t do half measures. We’d already be ONE with the radioactive aether, a perfect glowing singularity..

IMHO the force behind the West (let’s call it The Parasite) has lusted to kill him in part to bring about a reckless replacement who WILL respond to nonstop escalations designed to push the button. They want to kill the Host through Russian strikes. How else will they achieve Guidestones numbers in the West by 2025?

      (2) The Parasite may be irredeemably evil, and without spiritual insight, but it is not stupid. And it knows History. City of London has been abandoned….. left to tellers and fronts and tourists and second-class customers. Even the gold bars distributed elsewhere. They got out before Rome and Venice were sacked too. In many regards, like the wandering Jew, they are comfortably nomadic at this point. It comes with their way of life.

btw, you became a Mod @ Saker! Were you one of my assiduous tormentors?? It became positively uncivilized towards the end. I even took to obliquely getting in my digs I must sadly say, right under your twitching noses! I gave as good, and dived deep into uncharted pun and wordsmithery and crazed poetry, lol. Fun times at our Cafe Corral
