Prighozin goes for the jugular AGAIN (Update)

UPDATE:  I’m putting this update on the top, as the fog is fast clearing around this complete issue.  There also is one aspect that I did not mention.

What I mentioned, is that I see political activity.  From Inessa S, translator and well-known for her Russian/English translations, we have this: https://t.me/c/1601261659/280479

Please note this is not an official poster.  It generally says Evgeny Prigozhin 2024, The country won’t forget, SVOIKHGEROEV. (our heroes).

This was widely distributed through text messaging in Russia and is a clear election poster.  I stress, we do not know if Prigozhin is supporting this, or if it is only his political supporters trying to give him a leg up, or possibly, using him as their poster boy for their own purposes.  Needless to say, there is no hope in hades that he can stand against the current Russian government (not any one of them!) in an election and it most probably would be foolish to even try.  Yes, we’ve figured out which political party is active here but I will not mention it, as I should not be reporting on Russia’s internal affairs in the midst of scandal and Russian politics per se is not our brief here on this site.

Despite mentioning the political roots of this whole kerfuffle, there is one aspect that I did not mention.  What is the wet dream of the West?  It is of course to get rid of, harm, kill with drones, use the ICC to cut a fake arrest order, and so on, all against Putin himself.  And believe me, there is a lot of money employed for just this purpose.  And now I’m going to refer you to Andrei Martyanov’s latest blog and a very specific sentence.  He hates the channels generally but says that some of them are :    ” straight up SBU, TZIPSO and NATO-supported purveyors of BS.”  He is correct.  Read his blog.     Also listen to the video that he made yesterday with Mike Krupa and Dr. Gordon Hahn.  He talks about this and explains how Wagner fits into the Russian MoD starting just after time marker 15:00.

It is not easy to distinguish between the purveyors of BS and honest brokers.  The message is that these purveyors are more Russian patriots than anyone else.  They are the deepest patriots that anyone can imagine!  Of course they disguise themselves, at this moment, under Patriotism on Steroids!

There will be an election in Russia in 2024.  As we see an uptick in incidents of egregious terrorism (NS pipelines, drones on the Kremlin Roof, a clear and dangerous attack on Russian and other truth-speaking journalists, terrorism attacks on Russian territory), so do we see an uptick in methods to internally destabilize Russia.  The US Embassy is fully engaged in this, (playing silly games with visas for journalists at the time of Lavrov’s visit to the UNSC and in this way trying to damage his effectiveness, making speeches in support of arrested US criminals and spies in Russia, the list is long) all with the objective to take out the current Russian government.  They want another Rape of Russia!   There are even outright Ukrainian attacks on Russian envoys doing their work in different parts of the world – just crazy Ukrainians trying to beat up Russians and a bunch of other crazies pile on.

So, without naming names, I’ve tried to sketch the environment in which we have to make sense of the current Russia, at the time of the SMO.  Russia is not free from fierce and cleverly diabolical attempts at internal destabilization like many countries and regions at the moment, and this needs to be taken into cognizance and into our calculus, with all so-called ‘scandals’, no matter who is the scandal-maker.   More I am not at liberty to say excepting, watch closely who says what and .. do not get recruited by any of Martyanov’s “SBU, TZIPSO and NATO-supported purveyors of BS.”

NEW DEVELOPMENT: Prigozhin Claims He Was Tricked By Shoigu’s MoD
https://roloslavskiy.substack.com/p/new-development-prigozhin-claims

EXTREMELY HARDCORE

This is essentially what Prigozhin is sayin’ in his Victory Day bombshell:

I took a tour of the firing positions and it was bad (10% of what we need)

Yesterday, we were told that if we left our positions we would be labelled traitors

If we don’t get our supplies, we will then decide who is really the traitor

The previous announcements were made because they were afraid of us, to mollify us

The front is disintegrating

One of the MoD’s divisions abandoned its positions – 2km retreat

Gazprom’s PMC and other divisions have either 50% desertion or 50% refused to come to the front

These other PMCs are useless and simply throw lives away

Surovikin is doing his best, but so far no good, no storm of Artemovsk possible

Ukraine keeps attacking Belgorod, locals are upset that the government doesn’t protect them

Ukraine will attack in the south soon, this is a real threat

Modern Russia does not deserve to celebrate Victory Day – it is a victory that belongs to the grandfathers, not the current generation

He goes down the list of the supplies that they asked for and what they actually got

They have actually had supplies cut even more since then

Someone is trying to sell out Putin and the Russian people

The MoD should be renamed the Ministry of Intrigues

The 72nd brigade ran for the hills and 500 lives were lost because of this

Gazprom’s “anal brigades” abandoned their positions too

If our side wanted to win, they’d give us 20% more than we ask for, actually

The Russian people, should things continue to go badly, ought/might storm Rublevka and kill the bureaucrats

The fish rots from the head

This hurts morale – soldiers asked to die for nothing, for stupidity and cravenness of the generals

The commands given by the generals are committing a crime against the Russian people and these people need to be punished severely

Give Wagner what was promised to us on May 7th

Wagner will stay for now in Artemovsk for now, but who knows what comes next

Instead of parading and preening on Red Square, these people ought to focus on the fight at hand

With all due respect, I cannot take someone at face value when says “Modern Russia does not deserve to celebrate Victory Day”. This is very negative speech, it adds nothing to the solution or description of a given problem and seems to hide a strong aim of the author to… Read more »

@ Amarynth спаси́бо, a very important update. Speculation, conspiracy theories, are a slippery slope, not my realm. I will stay with the following statement, “…I stress, we do not know if Prigozhin is supporting this, or if it is only his political supporters trying to give him a leg up,… Read more »

Today, I bring heresy: Last night, the following came to mind: Bakmut only has 5% left to be cleared. Combat potential of Wagner may take months to regain full strength and the speed to replenish will heavily depend on volunteers. Wagner in Bakmut is on the verge of de-facto destruction… Read more »

Peskov should work for Spetznaz, he’s good at escape and evade. I read this part of his interview, didn’t consider it worthy of posting. He said nothing at all that can shed light into how the conundrum is getting addressed. Meduza is a fifth column TG channel. They call themselves… Read more »

I wrote the following to my older brother back in November, 2022, before Saker stopped publishing on his website. I think it is relevant to today’s discussion. ________ Up to this point in human history, “the US” has been the one dishing out all the wars and human suffering since… Read more »

@ Ishkabibble 43 minutes ago All good points. “Stalin ruled with an iron fist. Putin does not.” Historical, geopolitical, contexts, are different. During Stalin’s times, the state “owned” the people, as during feudal times, feudal lords owned their serfs. Putin inherited a Russia corrupted by greed and the delusions created by… Read more »

“Let’s just stick to what Prigozhin releases…” A sound idea. I meant to suggest the same after your first post on the thread. No need to deal with unsavory entities. Hopefully Wagner will get shells before the grinding starts in reverse. Shurovikin is the man of the hour, make or… Read more »

Your comment was well said and very informative re: Twilight of the Gods or Maskirovka. Didn’t know about details related to the personal animosity between the two. Wasn’t sure if the animosity was a symptom or the cause, but is was apparent. My initial thought was of a rivalry that… Read more »

Good points. Russia is losing the war every day the stagnation continues to suggest a stalemate. UkroWerhmacht is winning the agit-prop war every day they hold the Russian army in place along the frontline. This is all, however, on the surface of things. Yesterday, one of Clown Prince Z. minions… Read more »

Victory Day, May 9, 1945, was remembered and those that fought, died or survived it, honored yesterday. Then came May 10, 11, 12, etc.,1945, 1946, etc., literally right up to today, May 10, 2023. The 7 minutes it will take you to watch the following may turn out to be… Read more »

I dont know if being silent about malfeasance helps Russia win a war. It appears silence is providing someone or a group of people within the MoD a rock to hide under while doing damage. Which makes everyone who knows or should have known an accomplice to the damage. It’s… Read more »

These reports from Prigozhin are very disturbing. Actually it’s very disappointing to have Prigozhin speaking in such a negative manner. The way in which he describes the entire Russian MOD casting doubt and dispersions on high ranking officers sounds like he’s describing the United States military apparatus. I would expect… Read more »

Getting shot at over an opinion? That’s a little harsh. Unprecedented. Hehehe. Both conclusions can be true at the same time. Roloslavsky could be an opportunistic 5th-6th Columnist and Prighozin could be absolutely correct/truthful in his statements. Couldn’t care less about ‘theatrics’ from any messenger- only the true reality. From where… Read more »
