Full text of the message from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the occasion of the Judiciary Week and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Beheshti and his companions

📝 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

▪️ I offer my condolences to the entire Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah on the days of the tragedy of the Ahl al-Bayt and the martyrdom of the Lord of Martyrs, peace and blessings be upon him and upon them all, and his loyal companions.

▪️ The Hosseini movement and uprising for the establishment of truth, reform of the Ummah, and confrontation with oppression and tyranny, is the highest peak in the history of the conflict between truth and falsehood, justice and injustice, and holds invaluable and unforgettable lessons for all the free people of the world. The blood of the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him, is called the blood of God, which flows through the veins of the world and creates life-giving epics. The Islamic Revolution of Iran, because it is a branch derived from this luminous source, must always seek to achieve the goals of the Hosseini uprising. The seventh of Tir each year reminds us of the prominent figure of the revolution, the one who, by taking the helm of the judiciary, undertook relentless efforts until he and a group of sincere revolutionary companions tasted martyrdom, and his oppression and the seventy-two martyrs accompanying him confirmed the Hosseini nature of this system and its architects.

▪️ The dignity of the judiciary in the Islamic Republic of Iran is to safeguard the rights of the people, revive public rights and legitimate freedoms, fight corruption, implement justice, establish divine limits, and supervise the enforcement of the law. The fruit of success in this path, besides gaining divine satisfaction, will be the strengthening of the people’s trust in this pillar of the system. The rightful expectation from all branches, bodies, and responsible institutions is to always align and reorganize their performance with the desired standard of the sacred Islamic Republic system and the noble dignity of the nation. In this regard, the judiciary holds a unique and even unparalleled position for reforming the course of affairs and mobilizing other parts of the system, which requires pursuing reform and reconstruction within the judiciary itself. The general expectation of society now is to witness practical emphasis on this matter in the judiciary’s performance. Such that judicial transformation moves from words inscribed in the transformation document and plans and roadmaps to actual implementation, and its manifestations appear in all related fields, from the rooms of judicial complexes and court sessions to public environments and social spaces; so that people observe its positive effects in their daily lives in decisive confrontation with all kinds of corruption, reduction of rights violations, speed of proceedings, enhancement of judges’ integrity and soundness of verdicts, and easier access to justice indicators. In this vision of the judiciary, justice must reach a level where every oppressed person considers it their refuge, and especially those who hold some power dare not violate the rights of others, and the doors of recommendation and influence are completely closed, and having connections in some parts of it is not considered an advantage.

▪️ Of course, the vindication of the people’s rights is not limited to individual matters; their various public and social rights, from the right to economic security and fair access to opportunities to the right to fair enjoyment of natural blessings, a healthy environment, legitimate freedoms, and efficient governance, are also among the important issues in expanding justice. Among the most important legal and judicial issues concerning all the Iranian people at this time is the pursuit and vindication of their violated rights due to the crimes of international criminals, oppressors, and global aggressors, especially in the years 1404 and 1405 (Iranian calendar).

▪️ From the blood of the oppressed martyrs of the second and third imposed wars to the physical, spiritual, material, and moral damages inflicted on our dear country and every oppressed individual of the Iranian nation inside and even outside the country; from unprecedented child killings and war crimes in Minab and Lamerd to attacks on medical and service centers; from the massacre of newborn infants to dear elderly people; and at the head of all of them, the martyrdom of the unparalleled personality, the unique and incomparable jewel of the era, the great Mujahid leader, may God exalt his rank—each constitutes a case among hundreds and even thousands of important legal cases that must be pursued seriously in domestic and international judicial courts. What is certain is that the criminals must be caught and brought to justice for their criminal acts.

▪️ An important point in this matter is, firstly, the confessions and even shameless pride of some enemy American and Zionist leaders regarding these crimes, which certainly count as admission of the crime and have suitably prepared the grounds for vindicating the violated rights of the people.

Secondly, attention and commitment to implementing the order of the martyred leader of the revolution in the last meeting of judicial officials with him in Tir of last year regarding the investigation of crimes committed in the second imposed war, extending it to the third imposed war, and continuous follow-up until obtaining a verdict and handing over its execution to competent elements. This action, in turn, will prevent the repetition of such crimes.

▪️ Of course, to succeed in the path of comprehensive judicial transformation and accelerate reaching the mentioned goals, various arrangements and requirements are needed, which have mostly been expressed repeatedly in the annual meetings of judicial officials and the detailed recommendations and emphases of the great martyred leader, may God sanctify his pure soul. Serious attention to them and efforts to realize them, which are the key to the success of the respected officials of the judiciary, are strongly emphasized and sincerely requested by me.

▪️ The path to justice and the fight against oppression and corruption is a difficult one that will be facilitated by sincerity and reliance on God, observing piety at the highest level, serious motivation and will, extra effort and determination, courage and decisiveness, initiative, and proper use of new technologies and smartening of affairs. Achieving all this, God willing, and under the care of the awaited Just Master, our Lord, may God hasten his noble reappearance, will be made possible, God willing.
