‘I have agreed to talk’: Trump signals possible return to Iran negotiations

US President Donald Trump told website The Atlantic that Iranian leaders are seeking to restart talks – and that he has agreed to engage.

💬“They want to talk, and I have agreed to talk, so I will be talking to them,” Trump said. “They should have done it sooner. They should have given what was very practical and easy to do sooner. They waited too long.”

👉Asked if the talks could begin today or tomorrow, he replied: “I can’t tell you that.”

Trump noted that many Iranian negotiators had been killed in two days of US and Israeli bombing.

“Most of those people are gone. Some of the people we were dealing with are gone, because that was a big hit,” he said. “They could have made a deal. They should’ve done it sooner. They played too cute.”

The Wall Street Journal: “The United States is seeking to complete the operation against Iran before the missile stocks are depleted. American military resources in the Middle East are rapidly being depleted. At the same time, Washington does not have the opportunity to fill them at the same pace. In this regard, the United States expects to destroy Iran’s missile and unmanned forces as soon as possible.”

We have to post the propaganda from both sides.  Trump is of course yelling all day long and much of it is just not true.  This one, I don’t know.

The IRGC just announced:

A radar part of the “THAAD” systems of the Israeli regime’s anti-missile defense network in Al-Ruwais, UAE, was completely destroyed by a precision missile strike from the IRGC.

A US naval task group fuel-support ship, located 700 km off the coast of Chabahar, was also hit by an Iranian drone and missiles, and has been disabled and removed from operational service.

The announcement also says the IRGC’s advanced anti-ship missile systems continue to track the US naval fleet in the region.

The American aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, after being hit by four cruise missiles, left the mission point near Oman and headed for the southeastern Indian Ocean.

Israel didn’t convince the US to launch this war. Controlling the region was a Western ambition since the British Empire and inherited by the US before there ever was an “Israel.” Controlling the region is ESSENTIAL for open US plans to encircle and contain both Russia and China. This is why the US launched this entirely unnecessary and completely illegal/unjustified war.

Israel like all US proxies serves as a scapegoat to insulate the US from blame for aggression and any potential failure.

There was a direct Iranian hit on a shelter in Beit Shemesh, Jerusalem.  Reporting 10 dead at least.  The Israelis are trying to keep reporters away from hits on them, but it cannot be done any longer.  As the region’s people report with their shaky non-professional videos, we get the same from Israel now.  They cannot close this media storm any longer.  People will help win this war.  There are attacks on US embassies, UN offices and anything that looks even like it is owned by the hegemon.  People are trying to tear them down brick by brick.

Peskov said this morning that Russia will remain a zone of calm.  This is the stance of China as well.  They will support as they have with materiel and with diplomatic methods, but they will remain calm zones.
