Israeli Defense Minister: We attacked Tehran – Katz described the attacks on Iran as preemptive.

Israel’s Channel 12, quoting a security official, reported that in the first phase, they are preparing for “4 days of joint attacks” against Iran.

In an attempt to silence the Iranian voice, major Iranian news outlets are under heavy cyber attacks, including IRNA who’s suffering intense attacks.

Iranian Broadcasting and Television Corporation: Iran is preparing to retaliate and deliver a crushing response to the zionist regime. After the first missile storm from Israel/US, Iran is attacking.

The first attack on Tehran was carried out with Tomahawk cruise missiles from U.S. ships in the Gulf of Oman.

Iran is striking. It’s clear that Iran is following on it’s promise of attacking regional allies or USA bases:

The U.S. Naval Base in Bahrain was struck by Iranian ballistic missiles – several impacts.
Explosions in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates – Al Dafra Air Base hosting US troops.

Ansarallah (Houthis) joined with targeted missiles – unclear at the moment where and when but it looks like they’re aiming at the occupied city of Jaffa, called Tel Aviv. This was a joint attack with Iraqi Kataeb Hezbollah.

It is expected that the UAE will join with US-Rael.
It is expected that in the next hours Iraq will join with Iran.

We’re using long term journalists seeking to get to accuracy as much as possible. While strikes can be counted, there is no ability now to assess quality. It is fog of war, so, wait for confirmation on most everything. The journalists are highly triggered and may report rumor as fact. What does seem to be true, is that Iran will not stop. Israelis are sitting in shelters. The sirens have not stopped ringing in Israel.

⚡️Statement of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the armed aggression of the USA and Israel against Iran

On the morning of February 28, the armed forces of the USA and Israel began to carry out airstrikes on the territory of Iran.

The scale and nature of the military-political and propaganda preparations preceding this reckless step, including the deployment of a large military group of the USA in the region, leave no doubt that we are talking about a premeditated and unprovoked act of armed aggression against a sovereign and independent member state of the UN, in violation of the fundamental principles and norms of international law.

It is also reprehensible that the attacks are again being carried out under the cover of a resumed negotiation process, supposedly aimed at ensuring long-term normalization of the situation around the Islamic Republic, and contrary to the signals conveyed to the Russian side about the Israelis’ lack of interest in a military confrontation with the Iranians.

The international community, including the leadership of the UN and the IAEA, is obliged to immediately give an objective and uncompromising assessment of these irresponsible actions, aimed at destroying peace, stability and security in the Middle East.

Washington and Tel Aviv have once again embarked on a dangerous adventure, which is rapidly bringing the region closer to a humanitarian, economic and, possibly, radiological catastrophe.

The aggressors’ intentions are clear and they are openly declaring them – to destroy the constitutional order and eliminate the leadership of an undesirable state that refused to submit to military dictatorship and hegemony. IRGC Public Relations: US and Israeli missiles falling in regional countries

– A number of US and Israeli missiles have fallen in desert and urban areas of Iraq and the Gulf countries after failing to reach their targets.

An important early warning radar installation is in shreds.  Video shows an Iranian drone scoring a direct hit on a radar installation at the U.S. Naval Base in Bahrain, completely destroying the target.  I believe it is around 1 Billion dollars up in smoke.

OK, enough already Amarynth.  They got to me!  I’ll stop getting exited about strikes and do a formal futurecast.  (much of a guesscast) based on what we saw this night and it is early days.  All of this may change in a New York Minute!  Be aware of vicious war propaganda flooding the airwaves (from all sides).

Iran was very fast out of the starting blocks after the first strikes on Tehran.  The attempt to kill their senior Military and Country governance in the main failed.  They did a round robin of striking all the US bases in the region and then concentrated on Israel.  Iran has not started and they are very serious that this time it is to the death.  The strikes were not very large, but many and very fast.  The targets were struck on the average five times.  So, Iran is cooling their heels, keeping much power in reserve and making the enemy expend anti-missile resources which we all know the enemy is short of.  Iran seems to be following a doctrine of exhausting the enemy and its resources and finding space for attrition warfare and for the region to catch up while creating US bodybags .  I may be wrong, this is not my bag, but this is what I saw overnight and it may be valid for now only.   We are waiting for China to respond formally but Russia this time called the perpetrators by name!  This is new.  President Putin just held an emergency meeting with members of Russia’s Security Council.  The situation unfolding around Iran was discussed.

New reports are in that the Straight of Hormuz is closed.  This is not fully confirmed as yet:

To the noble Iranian people:

The third and fourth waves of Operation “True Promise 4” are being carried out continuously against a wide range of US and Zionist military and security targets, using more advanced missiles than “True Promise 3,” with a higher degree of accuracy and intensity.

The Israeli naval base in Haifa port, the Haifa warship dock, the Ramat David airbase, the Israeli Ministry of Defense in the Kirya area, the Beit Shemesh military-industrial complex, and the Ashdod military industries center are among the primary targets during the third and fourth waves of the war.
