Far-Right Israeli Ministers Push Annexation as They Reject US-Backed Gaza Plan

[Note:  Bear in mind that there are two organizations being formed here.  The one is the Trump Board of Peace, which has a price ticket of 1 million dollars and countries are lining up.  Even Italy’s Meloni is hot to trot.  (Could this be a NATO replacement?  Or could it be a BRICS enemy in the West?).  The other organization is an Executive Board, meant for daily management of Gaza.  The whole enchilada is a racket set up for further plunder in the form of yet another permanent aggression circus!]

Far-right ministers within Israel’s ruling coalition have openly rejected a U.S.-backed framework for postwar governance in Gaza, exposing deep divisions inside Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and revealing renewed calls for annexation, settlement expansion, and permanent military rule over the besieged Strip.

Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich, a settler in the occupied West Bank, attacked the plan after Washington announced the formation of a Gaza “executive board” under a broader “board of peace,” which includes Turkey and Qatar.

Smotrich accused Netanyahu of committing a “historic failure” by not occupying Gaza, calling instead for a full Israeli military government and the encouragement of settlement.

Smotrich rejected any role for Turkey or Qatar claiming they should be excluded from any postwar arrangement. He urged Netanyahu to defy Washington if necessary, even at the cost of confrontation with U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration.

Netanyahu, whose political survival depends on far-right allies who opposed last October’s ceasefire, convened emergency talks with coalition partners amid mounting pressure. While he has also objected to the U.S. plan, citing a lack of coordination with Israel.  (What this means is the bribe for Israel just not big enough!)
