Let’s keep the Jeffrey Sachs quote for a few more days: “We have a president of the United States that threatens a new country every day. And this has to stop if we’re going to survive. We’re just on a completely reckless, dangerous, provocative path right now, the likes of which we’ve never seen,” warns the analyst, adding:

“We’ve never had a foul-mouthed president who views himself as above the Constitution, above the domestic law, who dismisses any idea of international law, and who thinks that he reigns over the world.”

China plans to deploy 200,000 satellites into orbit 🛰️.

Beijing has submitted an application to the International Telecommunication Union for a massive satellite internet network. Its CTC-1 and CTC-2 projects are set to include 96,714 satellites each 📡.

For comparison, Starlink has launched about 9,400 satellites so far — and they are already interfering with astronomical research 🔭.
China’s planned network would be around 20 times larger, experts note.

This is a massive move of absolute domination of all connectivity on earth and space itself.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

If all else fails, let’s call the ET’s:

“Donald Trump is preparing a statement that will ‘change humanity’.” 🛸

U.S. media report that Donald Trump is expected to announce the first contact with extraterrestrials in the summer of 2026.

British filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee made the sensational claim, saying Trump plans to deliver the announcement during the FIFA World Cup 2026 — a moment that would “change humanity forever.” 🌍

According to Lee, the U.S. president has already prepared the speech. In it, Trump would allegedly confirm the first-ever contact between humanity and an alien civilization 👽.

The timing is said to be deliberate: the address would fall exactly 79 years after the U.S. Army’s statement about the alleged discovery of a “flying disc” following the UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico 🚀.

(What a mockery! Troglodytes, all of them, referred to as stinkmeat, reptilian humanoids with a barbaric culture. I guess the Indian fellow, former head of the World Bank, stands in for the promise of Palestinian governance for Palestinian people. These people, this class does not recognize, does not give legitimacy to and does not want to recognize anyone other than themselves. We will understand now why Russia and China eschewed even a veto at the UN Security Council, as they did not give credence or a semblance of legitimacy to the mockery.)

The new Doctrine under Trump is fleshing out where we can use a better word than chaos creation for it:

Permanent Aggression.

‘To control you have to defend’ — Stephen Miller to Hannity

Choosing Our Battles: A World on Fire

Where does one even look? The devastating killings in Gaza, regional escalation, the steadfastness of Venezuela, threats against Mexico, Cuba at a crossroads, and the grinding conflict in Ukraine—the map is alight with confrontation while not even mentioning Africa.

Sovereignista.com has spent the past week publishing a deep cache of information on these very issues. Today, we deliberately step back, lest we overwhelm our readers with the sheer scale of it all. Do not mistake this pause for inactivity. What we are witnessing is the quiet coalescence of a global resistance—a movement some deny, but which grows in definition daily. This work is arduous, and not all sustain the focus required. Keep reading Hearty Salon, where the intrepid post a mass of information on all vectors and sectors.

We will not lose sight of the essential struggles. Consider this a strategic pause, a moment to regroup before we continue to clarify the complex battles defining our time.

Will this super duper new board think of opening the corridors for food and medical requirements? Or will they try and sell us their usual bill of rotten goods?

The Press on Iran:

US Press:  Israel contacted Russia and asked Russia to pass a message to Iran to agree that they won’t strike if Iran does not strike.  (Will Russia blindly walk into this trap, knowing full well the lie that was told before the 12-day war?)

Al Jazeera and that ilk:  The Gulfies ( Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman) asked Trump not to strike, and he heard them and concurred.

Zionist Press:  Trump called off the strikes at the last minute.

If you believe any of this, it is time to rethink.  The most probable explanation (Occam’s Razor) is that it was TACO time and there was no attack simulation that provided a quick and easy win.  It is easier to kick Greenland to the curb.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Iran = TACO – for now.  Airspace is open. and normal air traffic was re-established. I won’t play with predictions for the near future, but it seems today we can relax.   We could be looking at a Syria type future, where Iran is going to be under permanent aggression. Maybe the collective west thought that Iran is just too large and too prepared for a quick sneak attack – they have too much to lose. Yet for now, we count a victory.

The collective west staggered back. Of course, they can stagger forward in a New York minute, so consider the following comments valid for a short period only.

-U.S. President Donald Trump to “NBC”: 💥 Any military action against Iran must be swift and decisive. 💥 The strike on Iran should not lead to a war lasting weeks or months. 💥 The strike on Iran should result in the collapse of the regime.

-The U.S. military believes it is becoming less likely that Trump will order a strike against Iran, especially following his comments today which were perceived as an ‘off-ramp’. U.S. military officials said the Pentagon was confident enough to have troops move back into Al-Udeid Airbase in Qatar, after it was partially evacuated earlier today. – NYT

(By the looks of things, the war last evening was in Minneapolis).

🟠 Russia considers it necessary and important to continue dialogue with the United States

🟠 Channels of communication between Russian, US negotiators continue to work, dialogue is underway

Update:  NOTAM extended for another 2 hours.

Update:  “The United States calls for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in Iran,” – al-Jazeera.  (This could be a TACO, or it may hide an imminent strike, like the previous lies during negotiations).

Iran has just issued a second NOTAM and their airspace is clear from civilian aircraft.   It is 2.30 am local time in Tehran.

Orders have been given to the Iranian Air Defense Command to ‘immediately engage’ any aircraft that enters the airspace without prior identification.  The Airspace has been cleared to avoid misidentifications.

Various embassies were evacuated and non-essential personnel were evacuated from US bases in the region.    Multiple US aerial refuelers have gone airborne from al-Udeid Air Base, Qatar.  Shelters are opening in some cities in Israel.

Almost at the same hour, Donald Trump stated that the US has received information about the cessation of executions in Iran. According to him, there are currently no plans for new executions – “they told us that, we will check it”.

On the question of whether military action against Iran is now ruled out, Trump replied that the US will monitor the development of the situation, noting that they have received a “very good statement” from people informed about what is happening.

This may still be a game of chicken with the US and Israel probing Iran’s response.  It may be that Iran is readying for a pre-emptive strike.  So far, nothing has happened.  The region is generally on top alert, and there are many nervous people.  Bear in mind Iran is still mainly under an internet blackout, so check any information as to reality.

Previously, I spoke about regional wars—perpetual regional wars—but we struggled to find the exact wording for what we see. The correct term is the imperial policy of permanent aggression, evident in West Asia, the LAC, Venezuela, Mexico, Cuba, and Colombia, with similar policies emerging in Brazil and, of course, in Ukraine.

The force with which Agent Donald continues to lash out, bully, and push forward is evident in the 25 percent tariffs he suddenly imposed on all countries that have trade relations with Iran. There’s no point in analyzing the substances capable of producing such an effect: it’s endogenous. It’s the same illusion of omnipotence that permeates all his words and actions over the past ten days.

Now, Trump is calling on all Americans to leave Iran (referring to their own agents involved in the riots, I am sure), and Canada is doing the same. I see no naval force moving there; most remain in the Caribbean but there are many US bases which Iran promised to blow up. People talk about ‘a massive airlift’ over the previous week or so. I don’t see it as massive. War doesn’t start until the first missile flies, so we will see if this isn’t just an extraordinary level of braggadocio and pretense. Keep the faith for a fear-induced TACO move, otherwise keep the faith that Iran does not stop shooting!

Saudi Arabia has taken a stance, or they’re telling fibs.  Saudi Arabia: We have informed Iran that we will not allow any party to use our airspace for hostile actions against Iran.    We stand by Iran.  (To be taken with a big bag of salt!)

Qatar and Oman are privately lobbying the Trump administration against launching military strikes on Iran, warning that escalation would destabilize the region, disrupt global oil markets, and harm the U.S. economy.

The situation is that Trump & Co cannot be trusted – not one word!, the Gulf States cannot be trusted and we are really in a position where Trump’s word will go from the US side .. and he is non-reliable demented interlocutor, Bibi Netanyahu is non trustworhty, and Iran is blowing war smoke which they should.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

People are perfect.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

OK, the man is demented. This is about Joe Biden coughing.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Russia has strongly condemned external interference in Iran’s internal political affairs, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

Moscow also advised Russian citizens in Iran to observe reasonable safety precautions.

Key points from Zakharova’s statements on Iran:

➡️Russia considers threats from Washington to launch new military strikes against Iran categorically unacceptable.

➡️Moscow firmly rejects any subversive foreign interference in Iran’s domestic political processes.

➡️The decline of artificially fueled protests indicates that the internal situation in Iran is stabilizing.

➡️Hostile external forces are attempting to undermine the Iranian state using “color revolution” tactics.

➡️Russia rejects crude attempts to pressure Iran’s foreign partners through threats of higher trade tariffs.

➡️Russian diplomatic missions in Iran are operating normally and remain in constant contact with Russian nationals.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Iran is under severe pressure. Yet, they laugh.
Pepe Escobar has a note:
The ENTIRE Collective West – NATOstan in fact – has joined Neo-Caligula and that ghastly death cult gangin’ up on Iran. Now that regime change miserably failed, the only option is War.

If you take a look at the Demented posted underneath this piece, asking to keep the names of the ‘killers and abusers’, Iran’s National Security Council Chairman, Ali Larijani responded:

‘I hereby publish the names of the foremost killers:
1. Trump
2. Netanyahu.’

And we have this:

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Don’t forget that the ‘peace plan’ in Gaza, and in the rest of the region is not a peace plan, neither is it a ‘ceasefire’. There are daily attacks on all in the region. Israel has killed over 100 children in Gaza since the October ‘ceasefire’.  Bear in mind Trump was going to ‘help Gaza’.

The Bondi Beach shooting, where 15? zionist were killed, is called a disaster. Gaza, where 100 children were killed, is called a ‘peace plan’.

Now we have this from the Demented Wrecking Ball:

:

🔹🔹🔹🔹

The UN children’s agency (UNICEF) reports that more than 100 children have been killed in Gaza since the October ‘ceasefire.’

Chinese embassy spokesperson slams US tariffs on Iran’s trading partners, vows to take necessary measures to protect its rights, interests

“China firmly opposes any illicit unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction, and will take all necessary measures to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests,” Liu Pengyu, the spokesperson of Chinese Embassy in the US said on Tuesday via his X following the US president announced to slap a 25 percent tariff on Iran’s business partners.

“China’s position against the indiscriminate imposition of tariffs is consistent and clear. Tariff wars and trade wars have no winners, and coercion and pressure cannot solve problems. Protectionism harms the interests of all parties,” Liu continued in the X post.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

⭕ At South Africa’s request, Iran will scale back its participation in BRICS naval exercises off South Africa’s coast, media reported; Pretoria’s request stems from a desire to avoid further complicating its relations with the United States while the two countries are engaged in complex trade negotiations.

(South Africa is the Great Pretender as they sweat and make all kinds of accommodations to salvage the AGOA agreement which is a major free trade agreement with the US, and employs many people. They cannot afford to lose it, and have not been successful in replacing the trade with other BRICS countries, despite big announcements).

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Alastair Crooke argues the likelihood of an Iran strike is almost certain and stems from converging domestic pressures in both Israel and the United States, which may drive leaders toward aggressive action regardless of the strategic risks.

The Missiles are Flying! Night after night, with no respite. Russian Iskander Strikes Hit Ukrainian Energy Infrastructure

More than 20 Iskander missiles struck targets in Kiev, as well as the Zaporozhye, Kharkov, and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The strikes targeted Ukrainian energy facilities. Following explosions in Kiev and the surrounding region, large-scale power outages were reported.

The new diplomatic stance (which Maria Zakharov promised will not be diplomatic) of Russia that Mr.Lavrov announced before the ominous Christmas Quiet is filtering out in words here and there. Mr Nebenzia from the Russian permanent mission to the UN:

“Until the Kiev ringleader comes to his senses and agrees to realistic terms for negotiations, we will continue solving the problems by military means. He was warned long ago, and the conditions for negotiations will only get worse for him with each day he squanders.” “We have repeatedly stated that no belligerent action on the part of the neo-Nazi clique entrenched in Kiev will go unanswered.”

Jan 12

More on Iran:

Iran’s main trading partner is China, so basically he is threatening China with a 25% additional tariff.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

“Trump today on TruthSocial: The actual numbers that we would have to pay back if, for any reason, the Supreme Court were to rule against the United States of America on Tariffs, would be many Hundreds of Billions of Dollars, and that doesn’t include the amount of “payback” that Countries and Companies would require for the Investments they are making on building Plants, Factories, and Equipment, for the purpose of being able to avoid the payment of Tariffs. When these Investments are added, we are talking about Trillions of Dollars! It would be a complete mess, and almost impossible for our Country to pay. Anybody who says that it can be quickly and easily done would be making a false, inaccurate, or totally misunderstood answer to this very large and complex question. It may not be possible but, if it were, it would be Dollars that would be so large that it would take many years to figure out what number we are talking about and even, who, when, and where, to pay. Remember, when America shines brightly, the World shines brightly. In other words, if the Supreme Court rules against the United States of America on this National Security bonanza, WE’RE SCREWED!”

I’m not sure what is being set up here, but something surely is.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Yes, Russia’s communication is back:

Russian security council chief Sergei Shoigu calls Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani.  Shoigu ‘strongly condemned’ external meddling in Iranian riots.  He announced that Russia is ready to strengthen bilateral security cooperation.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Russian Mod:

⚡️According to information confirmed by several independent sources, a strike launched by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the night of 9 January using the Oreshnik mobile ground-based missile system disabled the Lvov State Aviation Repair Plant.

▫️ At the plant, aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including F-16 and MiG-29 aircraft supplied by the Western countries, were repaired and maintained. The plant also produced long-range and medium-range attack UAVs used to hit Russian civilian facilities in the depth of Russian territory.

▫️ The Oreshnik system engaged production workshops, warehouses with products (UAVs), as well as the infrastructure of the factory airfield.

▫️ In addition, as part of this massive attack with the use of the Iskander missile system and the Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles, the production facilities of two enterprises in Kiev involved in assembling strike UAVs for attacks against the territory of Russia, as well as energy infrastructure facilities that support the work of the Ukrainian defence industry, were hit.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Failure upon failure in the US attempt to force primacy, force use of the Dollar and force power.

Iranians begin nationwide rallies to condemn foreign-backed riots (https://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2026/01/12/762220/Iranians-begin-nationwide-rallies-to-condemn-recent-foreign-backed-riots)

The US and the Zionists have failed to regime change or to make Iran ungovernable. Economically Iran is suffering and their currency fell again. The continual comments that the US will ‘help’ Iran, and ‘help’ Venezuela and ‘help’ Greenland is a new form of the old Responsibility to Protect. It did not work then, and it will not work now.

“Iran is looking at freedom, perhaps like never before. The United States is ready to help!” Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The US will not stall world development, set us back in time to a period that they feel comfortable with, and remain a hegemon. What will fall is the US and the Zionists. We are in one hell of a battle. The hegemon fights the world. The world must fight back. We fight against egregious lies and armies of bots that feed the US and the Zionist falsehoods. We also fight against the concept of ‘every now and again throwing somebody against the wall’, in order to maintain primacy.

There was such a comical and real human comment among the chattering classes:  “MY PRESIDENT!  He may be retarded, but THAT’S MY PRESIDENT.”

A few words from Brian Berletic: https://sovereignista.com/2026/01/12/unhinged-criminality/

Trump made many unhinged, even insane, statements yesterday, interspersed with threatening the world, atrociously gaslighting those who understand already that he has the Hitler, Caligula, and Pol Pot Virus. (Don’t call it rhetoric! It is time to call it what it is!)

On Iran, he says that Iran is trying to negotiate (an outright lie) and the US is in contact with the Iranian opposition (gaslighting). (Of course, they are in contact with the Iranian opposition because they ARE the Iranian opposition, and of course, they work hand in hand with the Zionists.)

Iran’s Foreign Ministry rejects Trump’s remarks and insists there has been no effort to open negotiations. The Iranian regime says Trump’s remarks amount to “psychological warfare.”

Jan 11

And there is already major pushback on the original Trump post:

I know what you’re gonna say—it’s not real.  This time it is, directly from neo-Caligula’s TruthSocial.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Listen to the Iranian people in Tehran, from tonight.

IMG_5844

In the capital Tehran, thousands of ‘Allahu Akbar’ chants can now be heard from the windows—a symbol of support for the Islamic Revolution of 1979.

We support them!  It is clear now that the US/Zionists and their special forces have failed to topple Iran.  The Iranian Cyber Space Command announced that it successfully cut 90% of access to the Starlink network through electronic warfare.

Out of Israel though – Let us consider this currently as gossip/news? from Israel.  I have no idea of the veracity.  Israeli sources: “We may be facing critical hours.”  What is real, is that the public shelters are in the process of opening.

US AND ISRAELI MEDIA REPORT THAT TRUMP DECIDED TO ATTACK IRAN

‘Trump has essentially decided’ to intervene in Iran; what he has not yet decided is the how and the when’ — Jerusalem Post

German diplomats unexpectedly left Israel about four hours ago.

Russian diplomats reportedly left a few days ago.

The reporting conflicts:  Alon Ben David – Channel 13:
The recommendation from the security level to the political level at this stage is not to intervene in the demonstrations in Iran.  Sources in Israel estimate that the US army is not yet ready for immediate military action and that preparation for such an operation could take weeks.
A US official told Channel 13: “All options are on the table, it’s up to President Trump to make a decision.”

They may only be barking.  We hope so!

🔹🔹🔹🔹

Can you see a pattern here?

Reza Pahlavi, Maria Corina Machado, Juan Guaidó, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, Yulia Navalnaya, Alexei Navalny–linked networks, Nathan Law.

Opposition figures operate from the West while calling for escalation, unrest, and pressure inside their countries. Street violence is reframed as “protest,” sabotage as “resistance,” and sanctions that hit civilians as “democratic tools.”

When shops burn, homes are attacked, or emergency services are targeted, Western media either stays silent or blames the state for “provoking” the violence. The people paying the price are always those on the ground — never the figures inciting chaos from abroad.

The instigators stay comfortable.
The countries are destabilized.
And the West calls it democracy.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

First message from Maduro:  Do not be sad.  We are well.  We are fighters!

Maduro sends message from New York confirming that he and First Lady Cilia Flores are “well” despite being held in U.S. custody following what Venezuela describes as a military kidnapping on January 3, 2026. The message, delivered through legal representatives and shared publicly by his son, National Assembly Deputy Nicolás Ernesto Maduro Guerra, marks the first direct communication from the Venezuelan president since the U.S. operation that left over 100 dead across Caracas, La Guaira, Aragua, and Miranda states.

In the brief but powerful statement, Maduro urged supporters not to succumb to despair. “We are well, we are fighters,” he declared—a phrase that has already become a rallying cry across Venezuela and solidarity movements worldwide. His son emphasized that his father remains “strong” and unbroken, despite what Caracas calls an act of war: “They couldn’t defeat him by any means, so they used disproportionate force—but they did not defeat him.”

🔹🔹🔹🔹

The silence: Russia and China are still silent in terms of their Foreign Offices. It is routine work, meets and greets, briefings are routine and nothing more. I am beginning to think the silence is ominous.

Mr Lavrov will deliver a major speech on Russia’s Diplomacy over the past year on the 20th. Of course he will look to the future as well.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

It appears as if Iran is calming down substantively and information is flowing, but not everywhere. PressTV has extensive coverage today, and their Telegram Channel is active. What it looks like is that the riots are under control, except for incidents and the country is unifying.

Apropos to Jeffrey’s quote above, a unifying Iran is not what the US and the Zionists wanted. They wanted a civil war, or a regime change or some kind of damage to Iran so that people become anti the Iranian Administration and a war can proceed easily against a non-unified population. This is thus far not happening. The arrested rioters testify that ‘I used DRUGS to give me courage’, which I suspected from earlier testimony. Detained Iran protesters reveal they’d been contacted online and then armed.

The war talk has increased. Zionist media: Trump will bomb Iran for Netanyahu as there is a ‘far-reaching plan’ — Israeli Channel 12

🔹🔹🔹🔹

On the way to Greenland!

There is much press of an imminent US assault on Greenland. So far, this is press, although it is said that military brass in the US do not agree and told the neo-Caligula (Trump) they won’t do this without congressional approval. This all remains to be confirmed or perhaps it is the usual MSM hot air.

But, this is the part where it becomes comically nuts. NATO by way of the UK and France are preparing troops (probably three midgets and a canary because I don’t know if they have any troops) to protect Greenland militarily against Trump under NATO article five. This may be our next circus show imminently starting. Of course the best use of Macron is to support a coffee table.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

West Asia is being bombed, Gaza is being decimated to the extent that normal people have become emotionally numb to dead children. The zionist press reports that Netanyahu is preparing a new assault on Gaza. The rumors that any Palestinian alive will be sent to the non-existent Somaliland persist.

🔹🔹🔹🔹

‘Brute colonialism is in vogue!’
President Trump responds to ‘Marco Rubio will be President of Cuba,’ with “Sounds good to me.” There was much bloviating that Cuba will self-destruct with Venezuela not supplying oil and other commodities to break the siege on Cuba. Mexico loaded oil tankers and supply ships and delivered.

Evidently when starlink is jammed, the ground based portable transceivers continue to transmit. This makes them “visible” to electronic warfare devices. This, then, exposes their location…which, in example of Iran today, lowers the life expectancy of nazi agents.

The Zionists have been in Latin America for many decades. 1980’s it surfaced. Guatemala, Mexico, and others were clients for military weapons. Guatemala had a Pass system like South Africa, the country grid to control the mobility of peons. Zion installed it. Panama’s Noriega was backed by Big Mike, a… Read more »

When you consider how the FUSA has been trying to install zionist arse-kissers in LatAm states, you can connect the dots. Zionists think decades ahead. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re planning to establish their “promised land” in Patagonia and rule the entire S. America either directly or indirectly with… Read more »

Strangely, even Google AI seems at odds with neocons (and no doubt those that either wrote it or on the payroll of neocons). Maybe their own artificial incompetence cannot keep up. That is probably what one can expect to happen when the situation gets to this level of absurdity. I… Read more »

Possibly there’s a misunderstanding…see> https://sovereignista.com/globalsouthforum/topic/the-hearty-salon-09-jan-2025-open-thread/#post-74496 for a frank bald description of the USC; what it meant, and means now. Possibly it’s forgotten what the ignorant and impulsive (and drunken doper) Bush 43 said about it: “just a goddamn piece of paper”. A discussion that describes the world and process underway… Read more »

Even if ratified, it used its own process, not the one specified in the Articles of Confederation, so there is a problem right there.

Imo, these talks about attacking Greenland is just a smokescreen.

If the pussy-arse US military is preparing for war, it’d not be against Greenland but Iran. That’s why they’re spreading the news about Greenland.

they already occupy Greenland, based since ww2.

And the EuroPoodles will cave and force Denmark to sell. It’s about imputing STRENGTH in an impotent dying vampire.

The last favor of dying Europe will be to transmute the gloss of POWER to the Marmalade Mafiosi. And thereby help intimidate all Others

They will buy it directly from the Inuits and do a referendum to separate from Denmark. Denmark won’t have a say in it. It’s up to the natives to decide what relationship they want. Or they can take the money and it will all wind up in US banks anyway.… Read more »

This does appear the technocratic dream of amalgamating the Technate of the Americas.

But in the setting of imminent great powers collision with all opposing rivals, and internal Hunger Games, do they even have 20-40 months?

It’s likely another optical “Phase One” narrative, the insincere ephemeral grab of low-hanging fruit
