Trump’s schizophrenic neo-caligulan world: Trump has said he supports a bipartisan bill in Congress that would authorize him to impose sweeping sanctions on Russia’s trade partners. Trump made the remarks after Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said the president had “greenlit” legislation that would allow tariffs of up to 500% on countries that buy Russian oil and gas. Graham introduced the bill last year alongside Democrat Richard Blumenthal.

“I support it. I hope we don’t have to use it,” Trump told Fox News’ Sean Hannity in an interview aired Thursday. “You know, we have big sanctions on Russia right now. Russia’s economy is very bad, but they are much bigger than Ukraine,” he added.

American officials held crunch talks with top energy executives in Miami on Wednesday, just as Trump made a show of raw power over global crude markets, seizing control of Venezuela’s oil sector and ordering US special forces to capture a Russian tanker in the north Atlantic.

Trump has also summoned executives from some of the country’s biggest energy groups to a meeting at the White House on Friday.

The executives are expected to press the president on providing strong legal and financial guarantees before they agree to commit capital to Venezuela, according to people familiar with their plans.

A point that is clearly the point. JD Vance in pressers, and Trump in one of his word salad posts, said that Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin fears the US under Trump. Another notable comment from Vance, is that the US must have Greenland for ‘security for the world’. “Friendship is friendship, but Greenland is ours”, Vance stated.

We have the US friendly talking heads pleading for Russia and China to do something – the camel’s nose is under the tent – Do Something! they cry.

Never before was the administration’s hubris so stark and in your face. These people in their beings believe that they run the world and manifest destiny was on full and exceedingly ugly display. They believe in their own waning strength. US Senator Rick Scott openly lays out US plan for intervention across Latin America:  “This is the start of changing Venezuela, then we’re gonna fix Cuba, Nicaragua will get fixed, next year we’ll get a new president in Colombia. Democracy is coming back to this hemisphere.”

The US day ended when a ICE operative shot a women who, according to the videos, was trying to get away in her vehicle from the crazed operatives. The videos are everywhere, and Americans must kindly keep us updated in the comments. Protests erupted within hours across the US. The US government is doing a victory lap over shooting a mother in the face 3 times.

An interesting factoid: from testimony and from watching the video. A sizable portion of ICE forces is made up of ex-IDF soldiers. The rest are IDF trained which explains the uncommon brutality that we’ve seen from ICE raids. One can see that personally, if you watch for the IDF signs between the operatives after the shooting. Those signs we have seen many times over the past years of zionist genocide. There is nothing about it that is not clear. We can say this morning that the personal military force of the current US administration is a zionist force.

It is no wonder that Netanyahu walks into the US as if he owns the place. He does.

There are two more issues that emerged from the US yesterday, besides more sanctions on Russia. The one is that the US is anticipating withdrawal from many UN and related organizations. This will be on a separate post.

There is a reason. The US is withdrawing from all legal responsibility. Again, there is a reason. We considered in the past months that it is the EU that is in a Cry Havoc and Let Loose the Dogs of War mode, but now we see that it is the US. The war budget is on the point of being increased from 1 trillion to 1.5 trillion. The penny dropped for Tucker Carlson and he said immediately that the US ” … is turning into an empire and is preparing for a major war – with China and North Korea, amid plans for Venezuela and Greenland.”

According to him, the sharp increase in the military budget indicates a move towards a world war. “The Republic is over – the US has entered the imperial phase.”

To get back to the fear message, Russia has been extraordinarily quiet. Yes, they have celebrated their Christmas. Besides the normal meetings and greetings, no statements of real import could be seen. China, you may not think so, has been equally quiet. They make the necessary statements and continue with their breakneck speed diplomacy and meeting and greeting efforts, the last one being South Korea, but nothing of real import. It is simple – you don’t tell your enemies the plan on the eve of a world war. I’ve always said that China and Russia’s main function currently is to keep us out of that. I am now watching for signs that they are preparing. I have never read about, studied or experienced this level of extraordinary stress on our planet.

We can understand now Trump’s calls for the EU countries to increase their share of GDP to NATO to 5%. This was not to support Ukraine, or to make the EU independent or any of those pretexts. It was to prepare their EU poodle to make war with the US.

The seizure of a Russian oil tanker in the Atlantic was a gross violation of international law by the US, said the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning.

• We know that Maduro and Cilia were grabbed in their sleep, about 3 minutes after they woke up.
• We know that Cilia was injured, and we know that Delta Force is putting the message out that she ‘bumped her head!’
• We know that there is a psychological operation to create Maduro as an evil person, and in combination, to blame Venezuela and Venezuelans.  “They are all traitors .. the CIA pays everyone in the administration .. they are worthy of the name Banana Republic .. hahaha, they lost their President.”   This serves the schtick put out there by the usual, named next …
• We know that this is a CIA/Mossad operation.

Small update:  The question:  Why were no Americans injured?  The answer is:

• Seven US military personnel were injured during the weekend raid on Caracas, according to media reports, citing a Pentagon official.  (You can decide if you want to believe this low number but let the story that the Venezuelans did not fire one shot, die!)

Venezuela’s interim president, Delcy Rodríguez, dismissed Nicolás Maduro’s entire security circle on suspicion of betrayal by specific members. Unverified sources report the arrests of some military personnel who may have passed information to the US government in August 2025. Also dismissed is Javier Marcano Tábata, Commander of the Presidential Honor Guard and Director of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM).  He was one of the high-ranking officials in charge of Maduro’s security.

Iran:  Protests are proceeding calmly, and people are allowed to state their grievances.  Riots still break out, but smaller.  Large-scale GPS jamming has been recorded in Tehran since late yesterday.  This is likely being conducted by the IRGC and Iran’s armed forces, according to reports.

A regime change is being attempted by instigating popular revolt.  The son of Iran’s last Shah, overthrown more than 40 years ago, Reza Pahlavi, has called on Iranians across the country to begin protests on January 8 and 9 at exactly 8:00 p.m.  He also stated that his next announcement will be “based on the response of the Iranian people.”

Yesterday’s protest count:  Roughly 3651 people from the 90 million people country protested, which is 0,004% of the population.

Love it! Russia has deployed a submarine and other naval units into the North Atlantic to protect the tanker Marinera from a possible seizure by U.S. forces, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The tanker, previously known as Bella 1, has been followed by the U.S. Coast Guard for the past 17 days since leaving the Venezuelan coast and has now reached waters near Iceland and the United Kingdom.

Russia is monitoring the situation involving the oil tanker Marinera, which is being shadowed by U.S. and NATO forces in international waters of the North Atlantic, the Russian Foreign Ministry told Izvestia.

According to the ministry, a U.S. Coast Guard vessel has been following the tanker for several days, despite the ship being roughly 4,000 km away from the U.S. coastline.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that Marinera is sailing under the Russian state flag and fully complies with international maritime law. It expressed hope that Western countries will adhere to the principle of freedom of navigation on the high seas, which they publicly claim to uphold.

The number of protests and riots in Iran is now noticeably subsiding.  There are pockets of riots, but are being suppressed mostly by protestors themselves quite quickly.

Argentina-Led Coalition Blocks CELAC Statement Condemning Maduro’s Detention by the United States

▶️An emergency virtual CELAC summit convened by Colombian President Gustavo Petro, with the support of Brazilian President Lula da Silva and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, ended without a joint declaration after Argentina and several other countries rejected condemning the U.S. operation against Nicolás Maduro.

▶️Alongside Argentina, the countries opposing the statement were Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Trinidad and Tobago. Argentina played a key role in coordinating this blocking minority. Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno led the strategy, signaling a clear break with the approach promoted by Petro and backed by governments aligned with the Bolivarian axis, including Cuba, Nicaragua, and Honduras.

▶️During the summit, the foreign ministers of Cuba, Nicaragua, and Uruguay, along with representatives from Colombia and the Venezuelan government, delivered strongly critical speeches against the United States.

Morgan Ortagus, the Deputy Special U.S. Envoy for the Middle East, has been put on administrative leave after it was discovered that she had a romantic relationship with Lebanese banker Antoun Sehnaoui.  In addition to the relationship, Sehnaoui reportedly bought two luxury watches for Ortagus as Christmas gifts during a visit to New York City, totaling more than $55,000 USD in value.  Ortagus made sure the receipts were in her name, to avoid any sign of her inappropriate relationship with Sehnaoui.

The Israeli military has spent the past 24 hours expanding the so-called “yellow line”, stealing more land and squeezing Palestinians into ever smaller clusters of the besieged Gaza Strip.  This is the result of the The Trump Circus Peace Plan.  Israeli authorities are seeking to keep Gaza sealed off from international scrutiny, telling the supreme court that a ban on foreign journalists must remain in place.

Nicholás Maduro’s statement, first statement in court today: Bear in mind the major Julian Assange lawyer is his main man.
