The West is going Down! Really?

There are many talking heads that consider the recent US loss at ASEAN as the final battle, and with great fanfare announce that .. it is done! We’ve won the battle. Don’t listen to them, or rather, do listen, but know it is way too frothy and bubbly. This was one battle. A big one, I grant you, that caused strategic harm to the collective west, but only one battle. Enjoy the temporary schadenfreude and premature celebrations of US submission but it is not over yet. Trust in God but tie up your camels.

The Big Babylon is not about to walk gently into that good night! They are busy kicking over the chess board. So here is some serious work to contemplate but first .. When Then? When will the battle end? What should the conditions be? Here are my comments, and some of them are simply for the sake of a little humor. There is life yet in the old western dog and do not forget that. It excells at this end game and changes hanging onto helicopters while fleeing, into victory.

OK, the battle will be over when …:

…Mr Lavrov retires (in health) we may be on solid ground (depending on who is in his place).
…the hegemon cannot find any more proxies to fight for it. (I count many yet. At this moment Agent Tinubu in Nigeria is offering).
…I can go to the bank and make a transfer to China, saying to use the Chinese system instead of SWIFT.
…the collective west comes clean and say they’ve lost the war against Russia.
…ordinary fishermen can go fishing without fear in the Caribbean.
…Gaza is rebuilt and the Palestinian state is getting up upon its feet.
…Ursula in the EU is known to be a thieving clown monger.
…Trump sings Kumbaya in his shower while peeing on the Abraham Accords.
…the four Chinese papers on collective living in peace on our planet is read as much as a paid for Rand report.
…Bibi Netanyahu and his yahoos are in a dock in a legitimate court of law, fully kitted out in straightjackets.
…we don’t have two genocides happening simultanously on our earth.
…Mr Putin in a moment of joie de vivre streaks across the judo mat to the tune of I am Russian!
…KPop and Rap and YMCA is outlawed.
…LLM’s tell the truth.
…Xi Jinping’s wife spontaneously and in awe bellows out a Chinese traditional opera to the 6G warplane.

Now, go and put yours in the comments before getting to the serious stuff.

The West Is NOT Collapsing. It’s Rebuilding For Total War | Nel Bonilla and Pascal Lottaz

Is the West truly in retreat, or are we witnessing the birth of a new, more insidious form of total war? Why do Western elites pursue strategies that seem self-destructive for their own nations, and what ideology drives this dangerous path forward?

To help me make sense of this, today I’m talking to Nel Bonilla. Publishing under this pen name on Substack, Nel is a young researcher working on her PhD and a prolific analyst online. She is in the process of publishing a 3-part series on the fundaments of the Western Power Projection System, arguing that the West, in fact, is not at all in retreat but currently reconstituting its fighting techniques. Part 1 of her series is called “Weaponizing Time: Elite Anxiety and the Fight for a Closing Window” and a second part to this called “Weaponizing Time: The Global Operating System of Western Power.” This is what we want to discuss today.

Together, we delve into the deeply ingrained colonial mindset revealed in official NATO documents and explore the shift towards ‘pervasive competition’ and multi-domain warfare. We also touch on how global networks are being weaponized and the terrifying radicalization of a post-national elite.

Its good to see younger journalists catching on. However i think to say the west is “rebuilding” is a bit of a stretch. Refinancing might be a more applicable term and re-propagandising. However it is an interesting video for sure to see it all out loud and proud 🙂

…KPop and Rap and YMCA is outlawed. They may not be my cup of tea, but if that happens, it can set a dangerous precedent for other musical genres and individual titles to be similarly banned or “canceled” after years of being legal. What harm could they possibly have done… Read more »

Glad to know it wasn’t serious. My concern otherwise was that it would suppress freedom of expression or something to that effect.

All for most items on the list. The South Korean government should certainly come down on the exploitive ass wipes that run their K-pop entertainment companies, especially if they still get away with operating as they used to and word still has not gotten around yet that those (as young… Read more »
