A Yemeni drone hit Eliat Port.  Injuries increased to 20, including 2 in serious condition, in the Yemeni drone impact inside Eilat port.   Isreal could not keep it under wraps this time.

This is huge news. Italy sending a naval ship to protect the Global Sumud Flotilla of aid to Gaza.

This is the first, small beginning to flexing of European military power against Israeli atrocities.

Israeli strikes continue to devastate Gaza City, while journalists are killed or targeted, limiting media coverage. Bombing of infrastructure and communication towers is also leaving civilians isolated, as ongoing Israeli attacks and threats force hundreds of thousands to flee under fire, driving a mass displacement crisis across the Gaza city.

There is, however, another side, although small.

Resistance comes from everywhere.  Bless the artists:

Over 400 artists & labels*have launched a campaign titled “No Music for Genocide”, demanding their music be geo-blocked and removed from streaming platforms in Israel.

The group says the boycott responds to:

– Israel’s alleged genocide in Gaza
– Ethnic cleansing in the Occupied West Bank
– Apartheid policies inside Israel
– Repression of pro-Palestine activism globally

Some have gone further — removing their music from Spotify globally, not just blocking in Israel.

This is precisely the kind of nonsensical ‘real politik’ argument that validates powerful BRICS nations doing nothing to prevent genocide in Palestine that is now expanding to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

According to this argument ‘Palestine is just one issue or NOT the paramount moral issue of our time’ – I would argue it is because if we allow such sadistic slaughter to continue, we are all morally responsible and history will judge Humanity as a whole for its inaction and apathy – BRICS nations like Russia, China and India have a responsibility to uphold the public statements they make and to provide a counter to the Zionist bloc shredding of international law and inhumanity against the most vulnerable peoples. They are not doing this, whether it is Gaza, Occupied Territories, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq – they are de facto keeping the genocidal entity alive and sustaining the genocide and unlawful expansionism into sovereign territory of nations while claiming that “sovereignty must be respected.

“Israel” is violating every human rights convention, every UN charter, every aspect of what humanity should represent is being destroyed in front of our eyes but we should condone BRICS ‘discretion’ while the blood of children runs in rivers in Gaza and in all the region, while rape is becoming normalised by the Takfiri creatures that “Israel” supports to bring down regimes in favour of its national security? Real change is our refusal to accept the devolution of mankind into some kind of Global Capitalist hellscape where genocide becomes just another useless term, another extreme that becomes normalised because what counts is supremacism of another colour and another facade – hiding the exact same exploitation of the peoples of this planet, the same resource grab, the same lack of equity, justice and compassion.

You can call me a ‘leftist’ but know that it is just another form of othering, partitioning of debate – we are all human beings and we are all fighting for survival – Palestine is the fate of all of us if we do not act and call out those who are doing nothing to end the suffering of an entire people beyond an anodyne “two state solution” BS – if we do nothing, we are all next. After Palestine, Lebanon will be destroyed and the Palestinians and Resistance here will be slaughtered, ethnically cleansed – and it will go on and on until they arrive at your doorstep and what will you do then? Favour ‘discretion’ ?

She did not mention Syria, who is on the point of finalizing a “security agreement” with zionist-israel, breaking Syria into three parts with one part for Israel.

I cannot write about what is happening in Gaza.  The bombing is incomprehensible.

This was a barely functional children’s hospital before the current bombing.  Now with the current bombing, there are children under this rubble.

Reactions so far

⚫️Families of captives held in Gaza have launched protests outside Netanyahu’s official residence (Israeli media).
⚫️The Hostages and Missing Families Forum blasted the move to escalate fighting in Gaza, warning, “After 710 nights in captivity, this could be the hostages’ last. Netanyahu bears personal responsibility for their fate—and for recovering the dead with dignity.”
⚫️Trump alleged on his social media that Hamas is moving hostages above ground “to use them as human shields against Israel’s ground offensive.”

More than 6,000 citizens have become homeless after their homes were targeted today.

More than one million people in Gaza City are threatened with death as a result of current “israeli” policies. Thousands of children in Gaza City are threatened with death due to starvation, lack of basic necessities for living, and the deterioration of humanitarian conditions.

There are new numbers being talked about. I have no source but heard these numbers of George Galloway’s MOATS posted yesterday, both from George and from Chris Hedges and saw some press. But there is no surprise and I can accept these numbers.

31.5% of Gazans have been killed. This is 600,000 human beings. This does not include injuries and people not counted because they are still under rubble. I don’t have a source for those numbers. Israel itself talks about 200,000.

According to The Guardian?, former Israeli occupation army commander, Herzi Halevi, has admitted that more than 200,000 Palestinians have been killed or injured in the war in Gaza, and that “not once” in the course of the war were military operations inhibited by legal advice.

He said that over 10% of Gaza’s 2.2 million residents, more than 200,000 civilians, have been killed or injured since the war began on October 7, 2023, figures close to those reported by Gaza’s health ministry (64,718 killed and 163,859 injured), with thousands more feared trapped under rubble.

Leaked Israeli intelligence suggests over 80% of the dead are civilians.

He also admitted “legal” advisers mainly serve to justify actions internationally, not to constrain military decisions.

The sheer terror continues. Gaza City endured another night of horror, as heavy Israeli bombardment and airstrikes caused multiple casualties and forced hundreds of families to flee.

Now the “agreements” are trembling.
