I’ve listened to, and read a number of comments on the current Trump administration drowning their murder in international waters down Venezuela way. What is incredible, is that the majority of the Americans are still making comments like: “This is not us”, and “We don’t do these things”. It is as if the memory banks are wiped but also as if the truth about themselves are subsumed into a type of cognitive dissonance that kicks in immediately. The deeply inculcated propaganda of “we are the good guys” again fights with the facts that they are NOT the “good guys”. This is not a blanket accusation at all as you will understand. We, the Global South, the RoW, the BRICS and certainly now the SCO, can only say: “Yes guys, this is you. You’ve done this for ever, for many years”. We hope that the murder of Venezuelans on a little boat in international waters serves as a wakeup call as to whom you serve. In reality, there has been so much, so many incidents such as this.

We are going to have to talk about the language change from “The War on Terror” to “The War on Drugs”. Of course, the language change from using the word peace to indicate war, is not so clearly demarcated in the common language but we observe. We know the word ‘democracy’ has now disappeared. Sovereignty is now used in the real world.
