Vladivostok, East Russia, as part of Eastern Economic Forum 2025

We’re in Pepe’s hands for this one, as neither AHH or I have had any extra space to pay attention.  But then again, we’re good colleagues and we share unreservedly, fully embracing a multipolar approach in our words and deeds.

A quick look over the rest of September:

What intrigues me for the rest of a very busy September is to see how the Xi Model and an almost Action Plan of the Global Governance Initiative is going to change countries and people, and believe me, we will already see it this month.

We have LULA’s extraordinary BRICS meeting (online) to look forward to.  LULA is working on multilateralism and tariffs, and it is Brazil; they always have to throw something COP in there.

UNGA this month is going to be highly instructive.

Here is a very fast and early categorization:

-Fools that do not know or understand the current process and we add those that are too fearful to move.  I can probably write the list already.

-Half-wits that are trying to get it, and

-Half the World +, who already understand, and are already setting off to global planning and local implementation planning at a fast pace.

Hold onto your hats, folks!  We’ve just seen one of the changes that Xi Jinping referred to as “Changes not seen in a 100 years”.

At this forthcoming UNGA, the issue of Palestine’s Statehood will feature prominently, despite the visa withdrawals by the US of the Palestinian Groups.  There is also a plan to overcome the UNSC veto, which I talked about, and Mr. Lavrov mentioned this.  Both Russia and China consider the UN a necessary global governance and coordination organization.  The upcoming UNGA will already indicate how much work is to be done to reform this mainly Western-owned behemoth.  We saw during this year that the G20 became a BRICS shop.  Referring to the Leonard Cohen song, First We Take Manhattan;  the address of the UN is in Manhattan.  Perhaps we have that already?  There is a raging appetite in our world for the correct type of change.

Over to Pepe Escobar for his Initial opening comments on the Eastern Economic Forum:

An updated photo will come as soon as we have one.

A huge St. George ribbon march took place in Vladivostok, East Russia, as part of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025.  The procession included military personnel, young army members, volunteers & various regions and republics.

This was stunning and extraordinarily moving. I was there, by the sea, at 10 in the morning, quite hot, the real people-to-people opening of the forum.
