1,200 missiles targeted at Venezuela – Maduro

The U.S. Navy has assembled a large strike package off the coast of Venezuela, including three guided-missile destroyers, one guided-missile cruiser, and one attack submarine, capable of launching at least 268 ‘Tomahawk’ cruise missiles, as well as various amphibious assault ships capable of landing around 4,000 U.S. Marines.

Also today, an emergency Extraordinary Meeting of CELAC Foreign Ministers (including Mexico) called in response to the aggressive actions of US imperialism against Venezuela.

🔹 The US naval flotilla ostensibly bound for Venezuela is a token force able only to project fleeting tactical dominance, with negligible strategic consequence.

🔹 For Israel vs. Iran, it’s now or never. Iran waxes stronger as Israel wanes.

Venezuela: Guyana is “trying to create a war front”

Amid escalating tensions over the disputed Guayana Esequiba region, Venezuela has denied Guyana’s claims that it attacked a vessel transporting election materials over the weekend. Caracas accuses Georgetown of fabricating the incident to justify foreign intervention and “provoke regional conflict.”

This follows months of mounting friction after Venezuela’s 2023 referendum declared Esequiba as Venezuelan territory, rejecting ExxonMobil’s activities in the oil-rich area. Guyana, backed by U.S. and UK diplomatic cover and deepening military ties with Brazil, has warned of “severe consequences” for any violation of its borders.
