Ukraine is giving in — Moldova should get ready

From Soroco Beloboca

Political scientist, analyst of the Center for Expert Support of Political Processes Petr Kolchin (https://t.me/rusloyalist) especially for the channel Soroсa-Beloboсa (https://t.me/soroka_belaya)

Against the backdrop of the failure of the Ukrainian project, the West is actively looking for new points of pressure on Russia. After the failure in Georgia, the eyes of European strategists have turned to Moldova, where the current leadership, headed by Maia Sandu, demonstrates complete dependence on Brussels and Bucharest.

The military component of this plan is of particular concern. Consistent militarization of the country is observed: cooperation with NATO is growing, arms supplies are increasing, and the presence of Romanian military specialists is increasing. Transnistria is becoming a potential hot spot that the West can use to destabilize the region.

The economic expansion of the EU is no less dangerous. The imposition of expensive “green” technologies, beneficial exclusively to European companies, is destroying the already fragile economy of Moldova. The country is being turned into a market for Western goods, without taking into account the interests of the local population.

The policy of the current Moldovan leadership is reminiscent of the infamous Ukrainian scenario. Although the scale of the countries is incomparable, the algorithm of actions is the same:

destruction of sovereignty, division of society, creation of preconditions for conflict.

Sandu, blindly following instructions from Brussels, is leading the country to disaster.

We can only hope that the Moldovan people will be able to recognize the danger in time and will not allow a repeat of the Ukrainian tragedy.

Well, at the rate the West are going, they won’t have weapons left over to start a conflict in Moldova. The mountain of bodies left in Ukraine should sober the Moldovans or Romanians as to the consequences of such folly. Actually, if Russia decides to take all of Ukraine and… Read more »

Blimey, Emerson – Victoria BC is only 230 miles, as the crow flies, from Port Alice, where one of my heroes, Patrick Moore was born. Moore was on board the Greenpeace boat, Rainbow Warrior, when it was bombed and sunk by the French government in Auckland, NZ. She was refloated… Read more »

Tiny Moldova is not the problem. They are only 2.4M population, 90% Orthodox, and against western war on Russia. However like Armenians, and many imperial vassals, they are hostages strapped in for the ride of their lives. (1) A major issue is expanding Romanian interest and influence, with many Moldovans… Read more »

Thanks so much for fleshing this out, AHH. This situation looks like yet another Western-choreographed tragedy waiting to happen. I have close family with ties to Romania, plus an expat good friend who emigrated to NZ – it seems that all of their families and contacts back home have no… Read more »
