Lyrics

Fireworks over Israel

By: Innokids (Chinese group)

Fireworks in Israel Sky

Shattered the Iron Dome’s Lie

Who’s the terror who’s the foe

The world has clear eyes and will know

Redefined what truth means

Popping the bubble of its grace

Turns out that the God you praise

(Rabbi: the Jews run the show in the world, not because they want)

Never planned on saving all the human race

(Rabbi: because that’s what God wants)

Fireworks in Israel Sky

Is it judgment’s bell or a mournful cry

It’s the sound of Gaza’s souls in pain

An empire’s crumbling curtain call in rain

Fireworks in Israel Sky

Make the people question tell me why

Even if their world is full of problems

The “backward” people also want to see the day

All lives are equal regardless of status or identity

Not by someone’s will to be thrown away

When your tech is used for such massive overkill

How is that not savage standing still

Fireworks in Israel Sky

Is it judgment’s bell or a mournful cry

It’s the sound of Gaza’s souls in pain

An empire’s crumbling curtain call in rain

Fireworks in Israel Sky

Has shattered all the demons in the mind

Once believe the beacon’s holy light

Look into its shadow darkness you will find

Cannot learn to live with them in peace

They will one day tremble for their own arrogance

If you never learn to be good neighbors

You’ll lose your motherland and wander on

Fireworks in Israel Sky

A people’s rising call or a myth’s reply

Judgment may come late but it never fails to arrive

I never expected this day to come so urgently

Fireworks in Israel Sky

A declaration of uprising or a prophecy fulfilled

The ancient proverbs never start to fade

Grave injustice is a grave self-made

The ancient proverbs never start to fade

Grave injustice is a grave self-made

It is good to note that the younger set are clear in terms of genocide.  I posted in the Daily Chronicles the events at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK, which is a huge music festival.  The authorities tried to silence one band and from that moment on, band after band appeared talking against genocide.  I guess it is somewhat of a safe space, as they cannot arrest everyone, the whole audience, at a music festival.   They can of course infiltrate future festivals and create mayhem, death and chaos which is most probably the next destabilization action.

Artists at Glastonbury continue to use their platform to speak out against Israels genocide in Gaza.  This was displayed by Fontaines DC during their set.

Its comforting to know how Humane and Awake the global south pop (by all means) are in comparison of the West media and pop there … As a southerner I rejoice and nourish hope we establish Freedom and long deserved Peace.
