No official Iranian media outlet has issued any statement quoting the commander of the Navy regarding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. For now, these are all rumors and/or fake news spread on social media. Nevertheless, there are close to 50 large oil tankers scrambling to leave the Strait of Hormuz right now. The ‘noise’ level is increasing.
Update: Iranian Parliament has voted to close the Straits of Hormuz. However the final decision lies with the Supreme National Security Council. Choices are a full closure or a partial closure.

– OK, I am not interested in the screaming in the US that this strike is unconstitutional, that it is illegal, that it is an impeachable offense, war crimes and all the rest of it.  You’all were enthusiastically voting for your administration, so, deal with it.

– I am not holding a wake because this is not deathly serious.  It is deathly serious.  But I’m still wondering who is dead?  Who is in the coffin? None of the details, the bombers, the 20 foot penetrators, the wailing about international law etc., is worth a can of beans if our world accepts this.  This is what makes this deathly serious.

– This is a funeral, we just don’t know yet who is in the coffin. Either the current wannabe western hegemon is dead and must be called out as a rogue, or, if our world accepts attacks on nuclear facilities, we will be dead and in the coffin. Our world accepted and is still accepting a genocide playing out in our faces.  Perhaps with a little bit of nuclear stress in their faces, they might take it a bit more seriously.
