Professor Kishore: How the U.S. Is Losing to China
Kishore’s comments are in the first 34 minutes of this video. Then, with no word, they turn to Varoufakis for the rest of the video. While I have no opinion on Varoufakis, this again is deceptive tactics as I’ve tried to illustrate over the past few days.
I post this for Kishore’s statements and have no idea what Varoufakis said.
China is frequently misunderstood by the West, which often evaluates it through the lens of Western democratic ideals. With a 4,000-year-old civilization, China has cultivated unique political and governance systems. As Kishore Mahbubani argues, China’s rise is less an anomaly and more a return to historical norms.
While led by the Communist Party, China’s focus is on maintaining legitimacy through performance and stability—not ideological export. Despite political narratives, China actively embraces market economics and globalization, as shown by its robust trade policies and economic achievements. Understanding China requires viewing it on its own historical and cultural terms.

Yep, and as I noted below, a split second after you posted, I do appreciate your information hygiene here – you’re very scrupulous.
