Wars flaming up overnight: Libya (update)

There was a proverbial killing of a proverbial count Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Libya a few hours ago. They’ve erupted into a civil war.

Libyan state-funded powerful Stability Support Apparatus (SSA) militia leader Abdelghani al-Kikli was killed. There are huge clashes in Tripoli and citizens were ordered to stay at home. Forces from the 444th Brigade, which operates under the Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity in Tripoli are fighting the Stability Support Aparatus.

There is a Government of National Unity but it only lightly in power. The latest from the Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity is that:

• The operation followed clashes that erupted after the killing of Abdelghani al-Kikli, head of the Stability Support Apparatus.
• The Ministry confirms the successful implementation of its plan to ensure sustained security and stability.
• Government forces now fully control the Abu Salim area, ensuring the safety of citizens and institutions.

Footage and videos show hard, heavy, brutal fighting and no quarter given.

From India and Pakistan we hear that India says they’ve stopped fighting but they will keep Pakistan fully responsible for any terrorist activity. Well, yes, that would not be the way to solve the problem. This type of rhetoric only inflames. There are also widespread discussions that the Trump Boyz did not really create the initial cease-fire but many countries, China, Russia, Iran that I know of at least, were involved in trying to bring sense and an end to these skirmishes. Likely, Washington aims to exploit the conflict either to justify deeper interference in Kashmir or to position itself—perhaps even militarily base—as a counterweight to China in the region. Time will tell.

These events are not simply coincidences.

We’ve had reports that NED for example has not been done away with as Musk and Doge promised. They’ve just gone underground and are operating out of the US State Department, doing their normal destabilization work across the world. The war of narratives existing between India and Pakistan may be a function of this or similar organizations.

The chaos principle as a policy of the hegemon is in full swing. They want to swoop up anything that falls out to pay for their own existence. Julani in Syria has just promised the building of a Trump building or hotel in Syria and all the oil that the US may desire, in exchange for sanctions relief. This is a violent terrorist leadership in Syria and killings continue around the countryside. Israel is grabbing whatever they can, under the guise of helping the Druze. This is simply a pretext as there are many Druze factions and only part of one faction is Israel friendly.

I wrote about the new strategy to use dwindling economic rights as a wedge for military insertion to expand the hegemonic stake. US reinforcements have just arrived in northeastern Syria, including Abrams tanks and field officers. Bear in mind it is probably around six weeks ago that Trump announced that he is withdrawing US forces from Syria.

As we watch the Tariff grab proceed, we now see these quick and violent wars quickly backstopped by promised trade agreements (India / Pakistan) and even quicker military backstops (Syria). Let’s watch how this rolls out in Libya. Do they have rare earth minerals and metals?

How much is this mean and brutal empirical vampire costing our world? We cannot live with them in current form much longer but they will not walk gently into that good night and neither will they conform and cease their violent crusades.
