Open Letter to the President of the United States of America
Dear Mr. Trump,
I wrote an open letter to Mr. Putin two years ago, and now, I am writing to you. Previously, there was no point in addressing the United States because no one would ever listen. Late last year, my open letter to all Western politicians was also in a vacuum. Most politicians in Europe, like the Democrats, are not interested in truth-telling and are primarily concerned with defending their own interests. The bureaucrats are not serving the people and are increasingly turning to control and censorship to maintain power frenetically. They do not understand that the world has already changed irreversibly.
I write you personally and must confess that I do not have a large constituency supporting my vision. I hold no unique position in my country and have no influence on politics or its decision-making. I can only speak from my own heart and do so towards you and the United States. Knowing this, many in my country will laugh at me, disdain, despise, and even hate me. So be it; in my eyes, precisely, they do not know any better. When I do nothing, I consider myself complicit in treason.
Fan? Or not?
Where to start? Let me state right off the bat that I am not necessarily a fan of you. Here, and I think also in the U.S., people are either a fan of you or they hate you. There is hardly any more nuance possible, as if people have become even more tribal than they already were. With some things, the U.S. is now moving in the right direction, and I am glad about that. You could also argue that anything is better than the old direction of Clinton, Obama, and Biden. For example, the U.S. was competing with Ukraine in terms of who was allowed to declare itself the most corrupt country in the world. That this now seems to be coming to an end is very gratifying.
So I am critical but also somewhat optimistic. At the same time, I think, “Seeing is believing.” Will all those Epstein files really come out soon? The same goes for the Kennedy files. Do you still have satellite images somewhere regarding MH17? And I am also curious about 9/11 and even the so-called first man on the moon in 1969. No, I am not a denier and do not see ghosts, but the transparency that will soon be shown on all these subjects will determine whether you will deliver what you promised. That will go down in history and stick to your name.
Ukraine
Then, you want the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to stop. This is a good thing because, in the meantime, Europe is still screaming for war, just as Biden did. They are afraid that Russia also wants to invade Europe, but obviously, as with so many issues, it is precisely the other way around. Europe would love to invade Russia, divide it up, and loot it just as Europe has colonized, enslaved, and looted other continents for centuries. The U.S. eventually took that baton from the United Kingdom of England.
You would like to have that resource deal with Ukraine, and it seems like that is a precondition for peace. Europe would also like to have access to those raw materials, and there are rumors that the UK has already made deals. The asset manager, BlackRock, seems to have already obtained a lot of land in Ukraine. Everyone seems very interested in making money. The ones who will suffer most from this in the coming generations are the Ukrainians. First, the U.S., EU, and NATO stoke Ukraine to keep fighting instead of negotiating. As a result, half the country is in ruins, resulting in more than a million deaths. Then, the investors want a return on their war in the form of land and resources. Why peace? Wouldn’t it make much more sense for NATO warmongers to start paying for reconstruction? However, that does seem awkward to me when it comes to so much corruption and where the Ukrainian elite has spent millions on themselves abroad. Are you going to reveal that too?
Russia
But this is quite apart from Russia’s interests. Europe is thinking of creating a European army that will guard Ukraine security, an initiative parallel to or replacing NATO. Meanwhile, Russia just started its Special Military Operation to keep NATO away from it. Are those European leaders living in a fantasy world or something? Do they really understand nothing at all about geopolitics and the new reality?
Russia will not tolerate military power and will fight on as long as it takes to get Ukraine as a neutral neighbor. Why does NATO think (or thought?) that they can (could) win this “fight”? In fact, the conflict has been going on between Russia and NATO for almost three years, and the truth is that Russia is winning. Ukraine is getting hundreds of billions in aid from the West. They get weapons, ammunition, tanks, F16s, and information. There is training, and there are instructors, even on-site. The only thing that is not happening is that the West is getting directly involved in the conflict. No official army units are operating, and no Western fighter jets are flying toward Russian territory. Therefore, the consequences would be incalculable because we would immediately be in World War 3. A war that “we” would not win even if we were fighting Russia alone. Anyone with even a modicum of sense can know that Russia is by far the strongest militarily. Even in a nuclear war, Russia is most likely to have the most survivors. The West should not want to go in that direction.
If Russia had wanted to conquer all of Ukraine, they could have done it a long time ago. Just like NATO and the U.S., just bomb everything flat so that the enemy has to surrender, as happened, for example, in Yugoslavia and in Libya. But Russia is not aiming for more land and, above all, a hostile population. Russia wanted to protect the Russian provinces through the Minsk Accords, but that proved to be unsuccessful. That is why the Special Military Operation, which they deliberately do not call a war and for which no declaration of war was issued. The West, of course, sees this very differently because it has no sense of history and prefers to assume its own socially engineered worldview. A chunk of a Russian missile shot down on a housing block is criminal, and American cluster munitions fired by Ukraine at a city center in the Donbas are “normal.” I could write pages full of examples, but the point is that Russia holds back from avoiding civilian casualties and limits itself to military targets as much as possible.
China
Another country that was totally misjudged by the West was China. Like Russia, China has been demonized for decades. China would steal everything, would be weak, would not respect human rights, and so on. This, in reality, shows a very different picture. China today is leading in terms of economic and technological innovation. Yes, they have a very different culture from us in the West, but they are not trying to impose it on us. They want to do business with us, but we play games. That will go wrong eventually.
Yet another attempt at a color revolution in Taiwan will lead to outright conflict between China and the West (read the U.S.). Why are games being played? Isn’t it much wiser to do business? Fair business. So not a win-lose, but a win-win. The ancient Roman Empire was able to become great and prosper through free trade that was beneficial to all. When it lapsed into decadence, corruption, control, and divide-and-rule games, it collapsed suddenly, never to return. The West and the U.S. are faced with the choice of trying to stay in control or start working together on an equal footing. I have no idea if the West can still do that. In fact, I think it is already too late.
BRICS+
You mentioned that Spain would be a member of BRICS. That indicates that either you know little about BRICS or you are misinformed by people who benefit from it. Spain is a European country, and it will take a very long time before they want to join BRICS+. Europe, like the U.S., is afraid of distributing power around the world. BRICS+ is focused on the Global South, which is roughly 83% of the world (land area, population, economy, and so on). The West is only 17% of the world, and it still thinks it can call the shots. However, that time has passed, but the West has not yet realized that. Only people with an ego that is too big still think they can call the shots, just like the last emperors in ancient Rome. Pride comes before a fall. Everyone already sees that the emperor is naked. The emperor faces a difficult choice.
It would be good and wise for you to become very well-informed about BRICS+. It would be even better if you decide to cooperate with BRICS+ on an equal basis. That would also mean the end of the Western Empire but without a hard fall. Everyone could benefit from fair cooperation, a real win-win situation. However, the recent past does not paint your policy as a rosy picture. Perhaps also prompted by people with their own interests, but tariffs will backfire massively. This is trying to take advantage of a win-lose situation, but that, like sanctions, will never work. Not only will U.S. inflation simply increase, but much more annoyingly, in the longer term, distrust of the U.S. will increase, and the U.S. will become further isolated. The image of the U.S. has already fallen below zero, even with partners like the EU and the UK. BRICS+ is here, is not going away, and will only grow. The choice is to try to resist it or become part of it. A true leader would make the right choice.
Israel
One of the last taboos in the West is being critical of Israel because then you are easily an anti-Semite. The fact that they have their own word for discrimination already means how special they consider themselves. So I am very critical of Israel because, for decades, they have ignored all international laws and regulations, and now they simply get away with the genocide of the Palestinian population in Gaza and the West Bank. They are the last batch of settlers who are still literally looting land from the original people.
And you are giving them the means to continue doing that. You want to end the conflict in Ukraine and have stopped all aid. I think that is a very good sign. Do you want to do the same with Israel?
Or will this eventually lead to Israel’s much-coveted conflict with Iran? The all-or-nothing option. Ukraine is pretty much history now. Taiwan, I don’t actually see happening anymore, either. But with Iran, the fuse is still in the powder keg. The Middle East is the most unstable. What is the U.S. going to do? If this leads to conflict, then World War 3 is actually a reality. Iran is now part of BRICS+, and Russia and China will not sit still. A conflict will lead to the collapse of the energy market and world trade. No one will be able to win, everyone will lose a lot. It will take centuries before we can return somewhat to the present level of civilization. All the history books will record which leaders made which choices and, thus, who were wise and who were overconfident. But none of us will be alive then.
Europe
I am ashamed of Europe. We have done good things and bad things; we have so much potential but remain stuck in self-aggrandizement and wanting to be important. Good things include the many inventions and the arts. These make the world a better place and allow man to become more civilized. But bad was colonialism, slavery, and the raids. The question is whether this has really ceased or whether it is now being sold differently. We can ask that question of ourselves, but why not ask it of so many countries outside Europe? What do others really think of us? I think we would be shocked by the responses.
Europe prides itself on its democracy, but precious little of it is left. Countries have given away their sovereignty to a bureaucratic elite in Brussels that increasingly decides and acts undemocratically. Now, voices are rising for a European Army, as if Napoleon and Hitler had risen from their graves to try again to conquer the world. Europe wants so badly to matter but is just a pathetic group of countries that don’t even give each other anything. In the ivory towers, they like to make plans that cost the people money but yield nothing. A kind of modern-day slavery. People ask if you are willing to die in a war. What kind of people are these who think they can play with human lives? Meanwhile, they have come up with more and more control measures and censorship. Certain unwelcome political parties are barred from participating in government even if they win a so-called democratic election. I find such people disgusting, but have to give them credit for playing the game incredibly well. Like the Democrats in the U.S., they have taken control of the entire playing field of education, the rule of law, politics, media, science, and so on. The people have been brainwashed for decades and have not been correctly and fully informed. And once it does make a different choice, everything is done to keep the people under it. Elections are canceled, and referendums are disregarded. Europe manages to bombard every truth into a lie and sell every lie as truth.
United States
The big question is to what extent the U.S. will open up and be fully transparent on so many dossiers. I have already mentioned some, but what about those Biolabs that were there in Ukraine and are now being rigged in African countries? What color revolutions has the U.S. been involved in? Why does the U.S. have more than 800 military bases around the world? Is the U.S. still out for hegemony, or is it ready for tomorrow’s multipolar world?
I am naive, of course, but I also know that most things will not become public for a long time. The stakes are too high. There are too many players to play a role. But not tried has undoubtedly not succeeded. I hope you continue on the line of peace in the world so that conflicts will not grow into an all-destroying war. I fear the lose-lose situation the most. I am wary of people who think that they can do anything, that the whole world can be made according to their ideas, and for whom human lives are not meaningful. Surely, we have had enough of such psychopaths in the world that we do not want to repeat such a thing.
In conclusion
Perhaps it might be an idea to get knowledge and wisdom from outside the U.S. as well. There are good people on the Global South side who can provide excellent current and relevant geopolitical interpretations. They are good people who have a great understanding of global economics and where we are headed. The tricky thing is that these people will still have little confidence in the U.S., and your statements like that Spain would be a member of BRICS and your idea that tariffs are a good option will not help restore that confidence. Forgive my critical stance, but I only make this effort when I feel someone is receptive to it. When I dislike someone, I don’t even bother. That is why I wrote nothing to Biden and why I am not writing anything to Von der Leyen. I must be on a list somewhere because that’s how it is with freedom of speech in Europe.
I wish you much success. And wisdom. The world is entering a new phase. The next seven years will be decisive. Who will play what role? How will our era be viewed a few hundred years from now? If that doesn’t interest us, what is to become of humanity? Then it won’t matter either, and long live the fun. So, it is really a question of true evolution or another meaningless cycle of materialistic primitiveness. This is deeply spiritual. Do we really take a step toward God, or do we remain just beasts? This is a very personal question that each of us may answer individually, for it happens only within ourselves. Each of us gets this question, “What do you want to do for the evolution of man?” Whether you are unemployed or president.
Kind regards from Europe,
