Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reports on Syria

(Note: This confirms the concept of terrorist and chaos wars from a people that are not brave enough to fight a war and are not interested in a peace, but use and pay the most odious in our world to attack others in order to steal benefits. They cannot fight a war; they cannot work for peace. In addition they do this to steal to support their own populations at a minimum of acceptability. I’ve said before, we cannot live with this empire any longer. In Syria, the playbook is to create another Libya. Compare: The Failed Lessons of Libya)

US and UK intelligence services are preparing terrorist attacks on Russian military bases in Syria

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has reported (http://svr.gov.ru/smi/2024/12/spetssluzhby-ssha-i-velikobritanii-gotovyat-terroristicheskie-ataki-na-voennye-bazy-rossii-v-sirii.htm) that the outgoing US administration and the UK leadership, following the overthrow of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, aim to prevent the situation in Syria from stabilising and aim to maintain a state of chaos in the Middle East. Washington and London plan to achieve their own geopolitical goal of ensuring their long-term dominance in the region based on the odious concept of ‘rule-based order.’ However, this is hindered by Russia’s military presence on the Mediterranean coast of Syria, which is a significant factor in regional stability.

To realise this goal, the British security services are developing plans to organise a series of terrorist attacks on Russian military facilities in Syria. The role of executors is assigned to the militants of the terrorist group ISIS, who have gained access to the remaining arsenals of the former Syrian army.

According to the SVR, representatives of the British intelligence service MI-6 and the US CIA tasked ISIS field commanders under their control in Syria with carrying out a series of attacks on Russian military bases, including the use of attack UAVs. In order to conceal their involvement in the planned attacks by ISIS militants, the US and UK military commanders have instructed their air forces to continue striking ISIS positions, of which the militants are notified in advance.

London and Washington expect that such provocations will encourage Russia to evacuate its military from Syria. At the same time, the new Syrian authorities will be accused of failing to control the radicals.

This approach by the Anglo-Saxons, who claim to be committed to stabilising and building a ‘democratic’ Syria, shows their true attitude towards that country and its people. However, under the pretext of the need to fight ISIS, the United States Armed Forces continue to occupy oil-producing areas east of the Euphrates River, which Washington has no intention of returning to Damascus.
