Brazil’s President Lula undergoes a second emergency brain surgery

Lula will undergo the procedure on Thursday morning. This second medical emergency will take place in São Paulo, Tuesday doctors had to drain bleeding between his brain and meningeal membrane, according to Reuters.

This has all been linked to an accident in October where he had a fall, this new procedure will reduce the risk of more bleeding in the brain.

Taiwan raises alert as China deploys 90 ships in likely drills

Taiwan raised its alert level on Monday saying China has set up seven zones of reserved airspace and deployed naval fleets and coast guard boats in what a security source described as the first military drills across a broad swathe of the region’s waters.

The senior Taiwan security official said that China currently has nearly 90 navy and coast guard ships in waters near Taiwan, the southern Japanese islands and the East and South China Seas, of which around two-thirds were navy vessels.

The Taiwan security official said the scale of China’s navy and coast guard deployment was larger than the previous two major drills around Taiwan this year, which were dubbed “Joint Sword 2024-A” and “Joint Sword 2024-B”.

Right at the moment and in the last hours, from 9pm local time, an agreement was struck.

The Syrian Arab Army is withdrawing from certain cities (Homs, for one).  It is non-violent.  Civilian lives are being saved.  The Takbeer is saying that civilians should continue going on with their normal lives, regardless of their sects and religions.  Syrian integrity is not being saved.  It looks like Erdogan prevailed on certain aspects.  Hama is another where the SAA is peacefully withdrawing.

We will have to see the consequences.

The hysteria about Syria and the region is the biggest I’ve ever seen. There was a similar hysteria when Russia started the SMO in Ukraine. But the current hysteria dwarfs that one by orders of magnitude.

The rest of the so-called news reporting is garbage. Your litmus test is if your source of information regularly posts the regular communique from the Syrian Arab Army and the Russian contingent in Syria.

Israel is in and bombing border crossings and The Israeli occupation army reinforces its military occupation of the Golan Heights in the aftermath of the recent developments in Syria.  If it was an open game and the empire was winning, this would not be happening.

From the “Sky is Falling brigade” we never hear this for example. We only hear that the city of village has fallen:

How this war, firstly a SMO on Ukraine and then a genocide on Gaza, is now international. 

South Korea: The quickest martial law in history.  Impeachment for the President Yoon Suk Yeol is on the cards.   The military, who tried to block the opposition lawmakers from overturning the declaration of martial law, asked for forgiveness and the Defense Minister resigned.  People are still massed around the Parliament Building vowing to stay there until the President resigns or is impeached.

It is starkly clear:  All leadership in western allied countries is instituted by those same Western allies.  They are tools pretending to be leaders.  Elections in western allied countries must be fought for and are another war vector.  Current Playbook – Venezuela, Georgia, South Korea, Pakistan ongoing over the past years, most of Europe, Japan, and more.

There are still moderates. Lee Jae-myung, the leader of South Korea’s main opposition Democratic Party of Korea (DPK) questioned, “Why keep pestering China?”. With a gesture of clasping his hands together, he suggested that a simple “xièxie” (thank you) to China and also expressing gratitude to Taiwan should suffice. “Why bother meddling everywhere?” He further questioned the relevance of the Taiwan Strait issue to South Korea, asking, “Whatever happens in the Taiwan Strait, whatever happens with China and Taiwan’s domestic issues, what does it matter to us?”.  News just in is that the South Korea’s senior leadership in the presidential cabinet have resigned amid lifting of martial law in the country — Yonhap

Syria:  More than 1,600 terrorists have been killed in Syria this week as a result of the actions of the Syrian army and air force with the support of the Russian aerospace forces, Al Akhbar reports.

On the ground, the Syrian army has made significant advances, cutting supply lines and securing contested territories.  The Syrian Arab Army has expanded the Hama city security zone by 20 km Reports indicate the sounds of battles can be heard up to 20 km away, with militants retreating towards the northwestern Hama countryside.

In Aleppo, militants are reportedly holding approximately 3,000 civilians as prisoners, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian crisis.   Violent battles continue in the Aleppo countryside, particularly around the town of Khanaser, where the Syrian army is locked in intense battles with armed groups.   News just in: Officers and cadets of the Assad Military Academy, surrounded by militants near Aleppo, broke through the encirclement in coordination with Russia, the Syrian Ministry of Defense stated.

Syrian Tribes Announce Full Support for the Syrian Government and Army: Major setback to Mossad-Turkish-CIA alliance:  Unlike before, today Syria is much more united. The Syrian army and its people, despite all their religious and other differences, are united for their nation. There are no reports of any coups or internal threats, other than the emergence of supporters and requests to join the battle against the Israeli-Turkish terrorist invasion.

Lebanon: We cannot any longer call the agreement a ceasefire. Hezbollah is nevertheless rebuilding:

• Hezbollah said that they will send 114 engineers, technicians and officials to the affected regions to assess the war damage.
• Also, each family that lost their home as a result of the Israeli strikes will receive $12,000 in compensation, which will cover rent for the parties until they return

NATO:  Desperately seeking relevance

NATO is set out to create a fleet of unmanned naval vessels to protect the alliance’s infrastructure in the Baltic and Mediterranean seas, Defense News reports, citing NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation Adm. Pierre Vandier.

The creation of the fleet is still in its early stages, but it is expected to allow NATO to monitor daily external activities around the alliance, both on the surface and underwater, the admiral adds.
