CARRY WATER – WHAT’S THE SOUND OF ONE HAND CLAPPING? Thank you, Emerson for bringing us such an extremely thought-provoking link. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1690502368393659 Although I find Kevin Warmsley extremely technically knowledgeable, I do wonder who he carries water for, when he so consistently cheerleads the attributes of king-dollar and it’s survival.… Read more »

Please don’t take my comment in the wrong way, Emerson – I am not shooting you down as the messenger – in fact, quite the contrary! This is one of the most intriguing links I have read in quite some time, and I do appreciate how easily nuances can be… Read more »

Emerson, I feel like I need to chip in, because this time Col hasn’t explained to you what’s really going on here, and that, is an insidious process that has been DIRECTLY enslaving the world and bleeding it dry for 50 yrs, a process that needs to be understood to… Read more »

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ thank you, minh, it’s refreshing to read your posts, regrettably infrequent. your succinct breakdown of the petrodollar illuminates empire’s savagery, assassinations bookend every deal. all humanity squirms on a bed of deadly petro$ screws, impatiently waiting, watching the axis of resistance carefully unwind humanity from empire’s insatiable intra-veinous network.… Read more »

fwiw I agree with all your characterization of Kevin, emersonreturn – thanks for writing all that in his defense. People coming to him cold in one glance are missing a lot of nuance, I think. We’ve seen him over many episodes, usually illustrating the decline of the west, in hard… Read more »

Yeah, Emerson, I think the thought police imbedded in Big-tech’s algorithms pick up on the number of shares and then limit the number of cycles that a post can achieve – which probably in itself should be construed as an endorsement of Walmsley!

I’ll go look now…

Thx for your thoughtful reply Emerson! I’m sorry if I offended anyone for my harsh words on Kevin. It’s as you said, the guy has done a lot of good work educating people, and he deserves all the credit and recognition for his work. I have no problem whatsoever with… Read more »

Minh,  I second our friend emerson — I am always delighted to see you around and hear your unique voice.  Might what appears as exceptionalism be really suppressed rage at the self-inflicted collapse of his former world? Any sane would be devasted to see such potential blown up in mindless… Read more »

Hello Col.

I’ve read many of your comments on economy on this blog.

Have you studied economics? How do you know all these things for sure?

Colin, I sincerely hope you have not taken a formal course in economics. That would truly be a handicap!
Your understanding of this subject is quite unique, and I hope some of the newly liberated countries in Africa can implement some (or all) of your very practical ideas.

Great to see you here Loyal – the more the merrier! I studied eCONomics in Uni back in the early seventies and then spent the next 50 years unlearning it because it was total mystical tripe based on utterly false maxims and designed solely to line the pockets of the… Read more »
