Putin opens the plenary session of the XVI BRICS Summit in the “Outreach”/“BRICS Plus” format.

✅BRICS countries have made a decision not to accept new members yet but to grant all applicants partner status, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says.

From 30 to 35 countries have applied for membership in the organization, the minister adds.
