Regarding nukes, it seems that MAD operates best when all sides are reasonably sure what the others have, and yet are not sure that they themselves can prevail. So for Laith to say Iran and Syria both have nukes…well, and then to say that no one will use them because… Read more »

I thought that Larry was incorrect about “Israel” – it’s a mad puppy, not the dog. Was it Santos Trafficante who said that whacking Bobby was a waste of time, “cutting off the tail of the dog” iirc, but that cut off the head of the dog and the tail… Read more »

i’ve long supposed iran has nukes. syria…that was a surprise! but russia rescued syria from the satanists…& so…who knows? iran, though, is different. there were any number of possible sources, north korea, pakistan could’ve answered the call way back when. iran was openly searching, offering a king’s ransom. i remember… Read more »
