Breaking the ransom
Why we do what we do? while being held to ransom to satisfy the bloodlust of a small portion of our world.
They cannot catch the big fish any longer, and now they are bullying smaller, weaker states. This has circled out. They are now bullying their own citizens. Two kinetic wars are still raging and the kill rates continue. We joke, that the Ukraine is going to be made to fight till the last Ukrainian, but it is more serious than that. The empire is going to fight until the last human being is wiped off our earth, and they can own it free and clear, but only IF WE ALLOW IT. It makes no difference to them that they will walk on fields of sunbleached bones and that the earth itself will cry out because of the blood sacrifice that it is made to bear.
They will walk on those bones, beat their breasts, and shout: “This is mine!”
This is not about removing the US as the boss and replacing it with China or Russia, but about how to effectively check the bully in the room and usher in a new international order with primacy on peaceful development and political correctness that overrides all ideological differences, stresses Bhadrakumar.
We’ve seen one after the other truther taken into custody, attempts at quieting them, putting them under house arrest and generally we’re witnessing another brutal attack, this one on the citizens of the west, and the citizens of BRICS, SCO, ASEAN, and CELAC. Those who simply want to speak out about what they see, who simply want to testify about the horrors created in our world, who simply want to say there is another way.
Our organizations have proven to be worthless and unable finks! I listened to the emergency UNSC meeting yesterday, called within an hour, and saw the Russian representative over and over again calling on the right of response and with short responses, beating the US representative with facts on the wars until the US representative gave up. This was not a victory, but only a very fleeting and temporary joy. Any attempt to establish a ceasefire in the lands of Occupied Palestine, is vetoed. The UNSC is shouting and expressing ‘outrage’ because of the lack of progress toward a ceasefire aimed at terminating Israel’s months-long genocide against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. I am so impressed with their worthless ‘outrage’. Words, but they do not do anything.
Our world has a Security Council that is supposed to take the lead in determining the existence of a threat to the peace or an act of aggression. It calls upon the parties to a dispute to settle it by peaceful means and recommends methods of adjustment or terms of settlement. In some cases, the Security Council can resort to imposing sanctions or even authorize the use of force to maintain or restore international peace and security.
Today, they are too hopelessly emasculated and devitalized to do even that. Let nobody tell me again that the collective west, the part that we call empire, is stupid.
We have a bunch of groomed women in charge in Europe who have no idea what a child is and are so brainwashed and addled that they have no idea what is going on around them. We have a white-hot genocide raging. And we know it.
Please take a look at this video from 1989
CIA whistleblower John Stockwell (1989):
“We’ve killed at least 6 million people.” pic.twitter.com/h67s739zE5

We are now 37 years on from when that video was recorded, and that number has only increased in massive magnitude. Researchers are finding it difficult to find a number that corresponds to reality because history is being rewritten as we speak. In Japan, it is not fashionable any longer to mention Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and those atrocities are being written out of their history books.
Brazil cannot get free of the entanglements as we have discussed so many times on this site. We assume they are trying.
Honduras warned yesterday that they are facing yet another coup. Their president, Xiomara Castro, states: Honduras warns of a coup attempt after the U.S. ambassador attacked the head of the Armed Forces and the Minister of Defense. “I will not allow the instrument of extradition to be used to intimidate or blackmail the Armed Forces of Honduras.” The reason for this attempted coup? Simple. CELAC is the one organization where the Latin American Global South actually got together and declared themselves a peaceful zone. Maduro says: “I have been denouncing that the goal of the gringos is to destroy CELAC,” and then reminded that Castro is currently presiding over CELAC, an organization essential for the unity and independence of the region.
The US has just declared sanctions against Russian English media. This would be RT, Sputnik, Ruptly, and others. In this way, they are cutting almost the last tie that may hold people together. The ‘Russia Did It’ meme started up in earnest as a US election trope. Why the rest of the world has to be attacked for a US election is the question. It is ownership, they think they own it all. I lived through the previous onslaught at the now defunct Saker site, and this caused a job burden. That job fell on me at the time to scour new submissions and edit to make sure that the site obeyed US laws. This was the time when sites like Strategic Culture and others were banned within the US. It was generally a hell time psychologically as I really did not want to be in a position to do the US dirty work for them but if we wanted the site to live, this was what was needed. Note, the site did not live despite what we did.
Scott Ritter, a changed man only in certain aspects since the sanction on him, says:
The actions by the Department of the Treasury in levying new sanctions against RT, Sputnik, and other Russian media organizations has made it impossible for me to continue my work as an outside contributor for RT and Sputnik, as well as participating in interviews and other collaborations with other Russian media.
The language in question is quite clear about the scope and scale of its restrictions:
“In addition, financial institutions and other persons that engage in certain transactions or activities with the sanctioned persons may expose themselves to sanctions or be subject to an enforcement action. The prohibitions include the making of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services by, to, or for the benefit of any designated person, or the receipt of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services from any such person.”
I reject the notion that the work I have done over the past years with the newly sanctioned Russian media organizations has been anything other than legitimate journalism, the content of which has been factually correct and analytically sound, and always of my own creation.
Nonetheless, I am fully committed to obeying US law, and as such will be terminating all contractual relationships with both RT and Sputnik effective immediately, as well as suspending my participation in any and all media interaction with sanctioned individuals and organizations until which time it is deemed lawful to do so by US authorities.
I will continue to exercise my free speech rights, to include my ability to function as a journalist free from government influence or control.
I am deeply grateful for the professionalism of all of my Russian colleagues over the past several years, and am proud to have made their acquaintance. I regret the actions of my government in silencing legitimate journalistic outlets, and look forward to the day when freedom of speech and a free press is not constrained by a dubious “Russian exception” that is violative of Constitutional norms and values.
Maria Zakharova says this in response to a question:
Question: The US Department of the Treasury has announced the adoption of another package of sanctions against the Rossiya Segodnya media group and some of its subsidiaries, including RT, Ruptly and Sputnik. These sanctions will affect many of its executives. What will be Russia’s response to this aggressive US move?
💬 Maria Zakharova: To begin with, these and other US attacks against Russian media outlets, including through the largest US mainstream publications, are the result of operations carefully orchestrated by intelligence services to purge the national and ultimately the global information space of any forms of “dissent.” These preplanned actions are obviously designed to create the media background for the implementation of relevant election decisions.
The latest round of this witch-hunting campaign is rooted in a desire to push society into permanent stress, infect it with artificial phobias, create an image of a hidden enemy, assigning this role to Russia. We know that the United States has the technologies for this and has used them many times before, with disturbing side effects and consequences.
The main goal of the current administration is to scare [or distract?] the Americans with a “Russian threat” and to create an imitation of active work ahead of the elections.
When the authorities resort to such primitive methods of influencing voters, it is evidence of the decline of “liberal values.”
As for the US restrictions on our media outlets, Washington has previously imposed numerous stringent restrictions on them, which is further evidence of the irreversible degradation of the democratic state in the United States and its transformation into a totalitarian neoliberal dictatorship. This is our diagnosis for the American administration, which has reduced media outlets to pawns in its interparty squabbles and is deliberately deceiving the public with allegations about somebody’s imaginary interference in “democratic processes.” Nevertheless, there is a high demand for truthful information about global developments provided by RT, Rossiya Segodnya, and other Russian media resources.
Meanwhile, the United States continues to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, infringing on the freedom of information, imposing its views on others, engaging in electoral engineering worldwide, and thereby provoking crises and conflicts with catastrophic humanitarian consequences.
The actions of the US authorities, which directly contradict their commitments to the freedom of information and media plurality, will not remain unanswered.
We warn once again that any attempt to expel Russian journalists from the United States, create unacceptable conditions for their work, or hinder their professional operation in any other way, including through visa restrictions, will be regarded as grounds for a symmetric and/or asymmetric action against American media outlets.
On the economic front, we have businesses that during this sanctions regime are hesitant to do business with sanctioned entities, for fear of secondary sanctions. These sanctioneers are in the process of laying lame the economic flow in our world.
We have great people like Ramin Mazaheri reporting on the US elections. These ones will be affected in one way or another.
In Britain, they are torturing their alternative journalists, citizen journalists, and alternative thinkers. These people are being erased from the map. In the US the process is the same. In Germany, the protestors are being beaten by the cops.
What is breathtaking is that there is no shame within the collective west. Whereas in times past these issues were hidden, it is now in full color for us all to see. They are already walking across fields of bones shouting: “This is mine!”. Full Spectrum Dominance which was on a state level, has now rolled downwards to the small operators. We still have people in the US and collective west who believe that they will be left alone to say what they want to say. These are the people who paid very little attention to Julian Assange. These are the people who thought that the war would not reach them. These are the people who naively think that they have rights. These are the people who think that their laws will protect them.
To those, I say that they live in a lawless society, and any attempt to use legal assistance is only a further strengthening of the net slowly tightening around them. They will be used brutally to create a false image of strength for their enemies. They will be left destitute and without human love. Any press is good press as I believe an actress once said.
To those I say, study the Julian Assange case, where a whole country was couped for the simple reason of keeping Assange in jail so that he could not do his work or speak. These are the people that focussed on what Assange possibly did wrong, and did not have the nouse to study the trajectory to see what he did right. Those people I am afraid to say are toast. If they live in an empire hovel, they are going to be made to get with the empire program. “I’m only a journalist” does not suffice today. Did you not see the occupyer in the Holy Land shoot journalists to smithereens?
We are most probably on the tip of the mountaintop between the bullies and ushering in a new international order with primacy on peaceful development. Xi Jinping in his toast to the African visitors at the start of FOCAC almost boringly repeated this phrase: a community with a shared future for mankind. China is in the same position as all of us. The question remains what is to be done on an individual level? It remains to be seen if we fall backward off the mountain, back into hell, or if we fall forward off the mountain with BRICS and SCO and CELAC and ASEAN. What needs to be understood is that even they are not coming to save the west. Mr.Putin said at the EEF summit that Russia is turning more and more towards the East, and away from the West In fact, the west may get a missile or two up the unmentionable.
It is time to make a definitive choice. Do you hear me, Brazil!
Excellent piece of Journalism – deserves a wide audience so will be passing on.
What a brilliant summary, Amarynth – BRAVO!!! Yes, humanity teeters perilously on the summit – which way it falls is still but a guess – this is why in this critical period the ‘B’ in BRICS+ is such a critical phase – collectively LatAm is a huge deal in this… Read more »

Yeah, I agree. That Carlson interview was a dog whistle. Pavel fell for it, unfortunately.
