Venezuela shows how it is done
Venezuela postponed their commitment to show original election results by polling station as a result of continual cyber attacks on their systems. Nicolás Maduro directly accused Elon Musk. This is not as farfetched as it sounds, as Musk has been interfering in Brazil as well. Brian Mier says: “Public prosecutors aren’t the only ones complaining about getting a runaround from X Brazil‘s legal team. When X announced it was shutting its Brazil offices on Friday, a group of creditors filed a motion in S. Paulo’s 9th civil court to freeze all assets until it pays its debts.
We will talk about Brazil where Musk is openly calling for removing Brazil’s supreme court justice Moraes, separately. Musk misrepresents “free speech” to meddle in Brazil’s internal politics. It’s no secret that Musk supports Brazil’s far-right opposition leader Bolsonaro as he supports chain-saw wielding Javier Milei from Argentina. And now when Trump offered him a Doge position in Trump’s cabinet, he thinks he rules the world.
What Nicolás Maduro did, was to turn all original election results over the the Supreme Court for a very thorough audit. In the mean time, the US walked back a few things, as detailed in the Fiorella short video at the end.
The supposed opposition turned in false election results and there were websites full of voting slips showing the fraud. Then, when the Supreme Court called in all hopeful contenders for the Presidency to question their election experience, and to look at their results, the US backed opposition did not turn up. This lead to warrants for their arrest, as one ignores a summons from a supreme court at your own peril.
The Electoral Commision continues technically and visually rewiewing every voting record on paper, a full forensic analysis. Venezuela has a computerized voting system, supported by paper ballots. This past Saturday, more than 60% of the sample of scrunity of the electoral event of last July 28th had been transcribed. In reality this is an auditable paper record of the complete election, by polling station as their law demands.
Venezuela is still being pressurised and although the quantity of US backed street action has reduced, and the US has walked back their candidate as President, the type of pressure is ratcheting up promising violence. This is what Eric Prince of the former Blackwater has to say: “Peace be with you all in Venezuela. To all those in the security forces, choose the side of Freedom. Not the side of socialist gangsters. We are watching and justice will be done.” The US backed opposition is continually targeting the Venezuelan military to switch sides.
We have two regional wars ongoing. My expectation is that empire needs another, in the Latin Americas. Whether they will be successful in drumming this up, and where, is still open for debate. In Venezuela, empire is losing ground, not badly yet, but losing.
This short video is from Fiorella Isabel, in my view one of the best young reporters on geopolitical issues in her areas of expertise.
Why did the US moonwalk on recognizing Juan Guaido 2.0/Edmundo González as Venezuela’s President, after pushing for another (failed) coup?
Well things have dramatically changed & this is more proof that Washington’s unilateral hold is clearly slipping.👇🏼pic.twitter.com/BOmRfQpNH7

Nicolás Maduro is close to his people. He is continually in the streets, on the media and in public. He expresses regularly a strong amity and support for other non-imperialist countries in the region. This is why the comments from LULA and Pedro caused and is still causing such a strong backlash.
Maduro:
“Each president, each state, and each country knows what they should do about their internal affairs,” he said, emphasizing that he respects the government of Colombia, which is why he refrains from commenting on the neighboring country’s internal affairs.
“In private, we always talk about many topics. But I would never engage in ‘microphone diplomacy’ with Colombia. I will never do that. Venezuela is a guarantor in the peace negotiations, and I will not express opinions on what Colombia should do to overcome that terrible war that is getting worse and worse. I would never tell Colombia and its government what they should do or publish advice on social media,” Maduro said.
Regarding President Joe Biden, the Bolivarian leader reminded everyone that the United States practices an imperialist, interventionist diplomacy. For this reason, even though Biden said he did not support a repeat of the Venezuelan presidential elections, other U.S. officials dismissed his statements.
“In an interventionist manner, President Biden spoke about Venezuela’s internal matters, which concern only Venezuelans and their institutions. Half an hour later, some State Department spokespersons contradicted him. Who is in charge of U.S. foreign policy?” Maduro asked, and rejected the U.S. pretensions of setting itself up as the electoral authority of Venezuela or any other nation.
The Bolivarian leader described as positive the fact that the Venezuelan Supreme Court keeps the public informed about the progress of the forensic analysis regarding the contentious appeal related to the 2024 presidential elections. He recalled that the Brazilian Supreme Court also ruled on the results of the elections held in 2022, when Jair Bolsonaro made fraud accusations without presenting evidence.
“In Venezuela, neither the government nor the people made statements about it or demanded anything. What the Brazilian Supreme Court decided is a matter for Brazilians… What Venezuela did was condemn the fascist violence after January 8, 2023, when there was an attempted coup,” Maduro pointed out.
Earlier, in a radio interview on Thursday, Brazilian President Lula da Silva stated that he could not recognize the victory of either re-elected President Maduro or opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez. To resolve the political impasse in Venezuela, the Brazilian leader then proposed the formation of a coalition government or the holding of new elections.
Later, through social media, Colombian President Gustavo Petro said that “a political agreement in Venezuela is the best path to peace. It only depends on the Venezuelans.” While the Colombian leader called for the lifting of all sanctions against Venezuela, he also demanded a general amnesty, full guarantees for political action, a “transitional cohabitation government,” and new elections.
From the United States, officials in the Biden administration said their country would support the holding of new presidential elections in Venezuela with the presence of international observers.
During his daily press conference, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) stated that he did not believe it was prudent to request new elections in Venezuela. “We will wait for the Venezuelan Court to decide. I don’t think it’s wise for us, from the outside, as a foreign government, to comment on something that Venezuelans should resolve,” he said.
With this issue, AMLO and Maduro hold to the course. For this reason, we can expect further attempts at destabilization.
Venezuela shall be free! Viva!
Now it is becoming obvious what is happening in Brazil with Musks interference in the courts. This is how they brought down Dilma Rousseff. This is a HUGE deal so Its pretty obvious that Lula is being strong armed to make the statements he has. And the statements are so… Read more »
At the Johannesburg BRICS summit LULA pushed and made himself not so welcome. He pushed crazily to let Argentina into the bloc, when they were selecting new members. Of course that went down bad, as Argentina said no. I wrote about that conference a number of times, and how strange… Read more »

Yes, a very good video, thank you.
Fiorella Isabel is very hopeful, but I’m very concerned.
Venezuela is make or break for the hegemon, I feel.
