Brian Mier, after the election results in Venezuela

See the beautiful new slogan of TeleSur on the featured image: connecting the Global South

The US is doing what they do, they lie and lie and lie, using the major media. They are so painfully sore that their further attempt to steal Venezuela, hook, line and sinker, did not work out during these elections. Having followed from the earliest moment, it was clear that Venezuela and its military were awake and aware of every destabilization that may happen and they were so ready to act but also, to act correctly and only if the circumstances deteriorated. It is surprising to see that the Palestinian resistance movements one by one are congratulating Maduro. These elections show us clearly where the free world is, and where not. That is the role that Venezuela plays – connecting the Global South.

The danger for Venezuela is not over yet. They are still in the cross-hairs of the hegemon and they have to be exceedingly prepared for any action. The hegemon is hungry, and wants their oil and gold and resources, yet, they are fast turning into the Fools Based International Order. I also am convinced that the Russian small fleet that visited Venezuela just recently, signalled very clearly to the hegemon to be careful. In my view, Venezuela is almost single-handedly breaking the Monroe doctrine at last. Pepe Escobar says: “No Venezuelan oil. No wonder they are throwing fit after fit of Epic Hysteria.”

Ben Norton reports:

Why is USA obsessed with overthrowing Venezuela? Is it oil, China, Russia, socialism, multipolarity?

Venezuela won this time. And all congratulations to them. But, not for stolen valor, it is just that they won for all of us! Celebrate this victory!

Thank you for this comment, Amarynth – perfect summations for those like me who don’t know this region very well. And Maduro’s comment is priceless: thank god that Musk showed his face. And thank god that national leaders can educate in this way.

Great to see Mier weighing in.

At the same time, we also need to have this disgraceful episode of ‘bipartisan’ (sic) delusional idiocy etched in our minds, where Trump declared Juan Guido as “the true and legitimate president of Venezuela”

Question: “Why is USA obsessed with overthrowing Venezuela? Is it oil, China, Russia, socialism, multipolarity?”

The answer: Yes.

All of the above.

The US will act.

If they do not, it’s game over.

Yes, Steve, as expected. Of course. How effective? We’ll soon know, but Maidan zone V is underway now. The nazis don’t like to lose, and their brutality is legend. It’s who they are. And they made advance plans, only marginally stated, in polite form. See>HOW TO STOP A COUP BY… Read more »
